Tue Jan 03 2012Zak was such a good salesman. He cared and I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Great experience and he followed up with me to make sure that I was enjoying the car. Really great guy!!

Wed Dec 28 2011I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I hope the service department handles things as well. Jean Dubois was exceptional. There were no surprises and the one problem with my special order was handled to my complete satisfaction. I thoroughly researched my options before making my purchase. Jean satisfied my few remaining questions. No hassle, no pressure. I was blown away. Thanks for making it so easy.

Tue Dec 20 2011This is my second MINI from Global. I did visit "the other guy" in South Atlanta, and they never followed up with me. Maybe they didn't need the sale. I've gotten a ton of complements on my Ice Blue MINI and I am very satisfied. My sales manager kept me posted every step of the way on the status of my new MINI.

Sun Nov 15 2009Here are a few snippets of my horrible experiences at their Mini Service Department over the past five years: 1. They called to let me know my car was ready. I went in to pick it up and waited over an hour for them to bring it around. It turned out that they had not run it through the car wash yet and there was a backlog of cars going through the wash. 2. It took them over a week to complete an Inspection II. It should have taken 1/2 a day. 3. After picking my car up after repairs, I got about 2 miles away and it started chugging and sputtering. I managed to get back to Global - they fixed the problem and would not tell me what was had happened. (During two more visits new problems occurred. One was that the aux fan blew while they were running it through the car wash. The other time the power steering fan started making loud noises the day after I picked the car up.) 4. My car was making terrible noises on one Saturday morning. I waited 30 minutes to speak with my service advisor... Read more

Thu Apr 09 2009I had the worst experience ever today at Global. Aside from the rude people, there was absolutely no customer service. It was my first time at Global because of the horrible service I received at BMW of South Atlanta. In a nutshell, Frankie, a Service Advisor told me that he was too busy to check me out. Worst of all, they damaged my car. It looks like they backed into something about 3 times. There was no "I'm sorry". After they fix my car, I will never go back again. It's not worth the trouble.

Sun Mar 01 2009I have had the enviable "opportunity" to take my BMW to visit Global BMW's Service Department numerous times over the past few years. Apparently I bought a lemon. The Service Representatives are professional but it is clearly a mixed bag as to how empathetic or caring each one is. I've met with multiple service representatives and some care while others don't. Remember, you only represent $'s for them as they most likey get paid for how much in repair they generate. I have to give the service department a BIG THUMBS DOWN as each time I take my car in it seems that something else breaks or goes wrong within a month of service or they don't fix the original problem that I brought the car in for. The IDrive on my BMW has been a complete nightmare and continously has errors. When I point this out they claim that it needs to be "re-masked" to the tune of $2,000 when it never worked from the beginning and should have been covered under the warranty. Every repair trip costs at least... Read more

Wed Jan 28 2009Thank you for all your hard work/effort in the purchase of my BMW 335i. First, let me tell you that the reason the BMW slogan is "BMW is the ultimate driving machine" is because IT IS THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE! This is the nicest car I ever owned and I am loving the drive around Atlanta, even makes the traffic jam not seem so bad. You both showed me a tremendous amount of respect, knowledge and courtesy which has continued even after the sale. You were very conscientious of my crazy schedule and limited time. Please be advised that I will highly recommend you and your dealership to anyone I know who is looking to purchase a car. Keep up the great work!

Wed Jan 28 2009I would like to thank everyone at Global Imports for making the purchase of my new BMW 325i the BEST! My salesperson was especially helpful in locating exactly the car I wanted and answering all of my questions along the way. He worked diligently communicating with us all through the process and made sure we were satisfied in every way. I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciate the way we were treated by all your staff. You made us feel comfortable and appreciated. It was a pleasure doing business with you all and that's something I've never been able to say about the car buying process before now! You have my business for life. There is truly no other dealership in town like Global Imports BMW.

Wed Nov 14 2007Basically, i've had 3 service appointments at Global, each of them consisted of Global not fixing the problem correctly the first time, and required me to take the car back again.

Sat Jul 14 2007We bought a new 2005 X5 from Global Imports which happily accepted our money with broad smiles. Since then, we have taken our car in for repairs for a annoyingly loud knocking sound in the front end 6 times and 5 times for the rigged up Nav. Sys. The most recent time was while on vacation in D.C. And...don't count on GM, Dewayne Bowers, for any solutions to your problems. I don't know if he's lazy or what, but he sure spends a lot of time talking about what he's doing to help than actually helping. He's even gone as far as passing the "problem customers" off to another dealership when he suggested to Beth @ North America BMW that we take our car problems elsewhere. I'm sure this is what Scott Smith, President of Global BMW, hired him to tell customers. But I don't recall hearing that statement in their sales pitch or seeing it in any advertisement. Someone please tell these people that they are not doing customers any favors. If you're looking for assistance from anyone at North A... Read more

Wed Jun 13 2007Have brought my M3 in for maintenance and minor repairs. No problems at all, I have no complaints about the quality of the work done. Staff seem to be moving themselves very efficiently. Free rental car while repairs are done. If you show up first thing in the morning, it's going to be really busy and you're going to wait, so don't schedule 8am-9:30am.

Sun May 20 2007Severely disappointed in the sales staff. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon ready to buy a late-model pre-owned M3 (not a bad deal for them to make a nice buck or two on). I was greeted by a salesperson who told me they were under-staffed and someone would be with me. I was wearing a polo, jeans, and nice shoes - typical of your late 20's guy. My buddy was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. Half an hour later, we still hadn't been attended to (but the guy who drove up in an SL 500 sure was within minutes of showing up). Needless to say, I walked - and 3 hours later drove off the lot of BMW of South Atlanta in the car I was looking for after having someone greet me a minute after leaving the car (it was a rental my buddy was driving while his BMW was in the shop and I didn't feel like driving my Porsche) and getting a test drive after just a few minutes of looking around. I can't wait to send them the picture of me shaking hands that afternoon in front of my new car at... Read more

Sun Apr 15 2007X5man is understating Not only do they not make repairs they say they do - including not adding fluids they say they do - - your car comes out worse than it went in and they will not admit to any wrong doing Run - do not walk to your closest Toyota dealer

Sun Apr 08 2007I highly recommend Global Imports for their friendy, attentive sales and service staff and beautiful showroom. My salesperson was knowledgeable and honest, and made by buying experience truly enjoyable. The manager I met was extremely nice also, and at no point did I feel pressured or rushed. They truly try to make you feel at home, and make the whole experience as fun as it should be! I've been by once so far for my scheduled maintenance, and the service was superb as well. They were highly efficient, answered all my questions, and had me out of there in a snap! They have comparable loaner vehicles available for your use as well. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! Great job guys!

Tue Jul 18 2006I agree with the other post from "chalky"....even though its years later - nothing has changed from what he said. Global Imports in Atlanta treats you like you're an illegal alien, and then they act as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money. Personally, I've even been charged for work to fix something, and found out later that it was not fixed. They have service representatives with condescending attitudes, and I've heard their employees make some VERY derogatory remarks about some customers. Don't trust them.

Sun Dec 29 2002upon waiting for nearly 25 minutes to get help (with no other customers on the floor) we couldn't take it anymore. From what I can gather, reading the newspaper and picking your nose is more important than helping potential customers buy a $40K+ vehicle. Go somewhere else.
