The Glenn Beck Program is a talk show. Beck is a conservative constitutionalist who is self educated. He gives his opinion about the nation's politics and the economy. His opinion is then supported with experts of the field such as college professors, political analysts, chief executive officers of large corporations, lawyers, and historians. Beck patriotically promotes the traditional values that the country was founded on. His program is very educational.

i think that glenn beck is amazing. if you guys have read "common sense," you'd see he isn't all that crazy.he just has a strong disapproval of our progessive government which is completely understandable.. i'm a 17 year old girl and i watch glenn back all the time. even though he might be a little crazy.. he still speaks out about the truth which is good because every other politician er radio show is too pussy and scared of the government to speak out about it. all you guys who think he is lying really need to "get YOUR head out of your asses." what is there to lie about? our government is an outrage. government wants total control of America and that is not the principles of our founding. we as americans should have freedom of speech and to right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. the government bullying corporations to take bailouts is a perfect example of the government trying to take total control. everyone is so angry about this show because the scary truth is being ... I recall watching a special program he put on FOX News a few months back about how the financial crisis may play out over the next few years, culminating with a vision of America in 2014. I found Beck and his program to be speculative and overly dramatic, while ignoring the real issues at stake. He wasn't all that informative either. Beck seems to believe that America will descend into a Wild West type of social breakdown as state authority evaporates. He believes America will break up into 4 or 5 different nations with cross border problems. No way will it ever get so bad, and he shouldn't be stoking his audiences fears with such hyperbole. Yes, there are very real financial challenges, and a debt crisis (complete with default) is possible. But it won't be nearly as bad as advertised. Many nations have faced similar troubles and come out the other side intact!! Russia in the late 1990's comes immediately to mind here. It might take a while for our country to dig itself... I'm what most people would consider rather conservative, and watching  or listening to his radio show    is just painful.how he got the job with CNN of all places baffles my mind. There are plenty of others I'm sure that could actually deliver a conservative message without being a blubbering dope.

Important topics, says he is conservative but he is just logical. Whether that is conservative or liberal is of no importance. Gets to the heart of issues. Humble and tries to be open minded (fails sometimes but at least he tries).

I think it's both interesting and RELEVANT that most of the people here who dislike Beck want to see him "off the air". You know, that whole "First Amendment" thing they PRETEND to support. Anyway, most people who CLAIM to listen and "disapprove" have probably never listened for more than 2 minutes. Well, I've listened for more than 2 minutes, and I have lost count of the number of times that Glen has criticized this administration - something that NO liberal host would EVER do to "one of their own", by the way. Most of what represents "right wing" radio is nothing more than partisan bantering. Talking points for the RNC. Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingraham... etc.. But, let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. Glen Beck is NOT a partisan host. He is principled - agree with him or don't - that's the REAL American way. The real problem here is that liberals DON'T want to hear ANY conservative talk on the radio. Period. This is why they support control of the airwaves (see: Fairness ... Read more

I just tuned into this show for the first time and I cannot believe this idiot is on the air. It was a discussion re: the Rosie versus Hasselbeck argument. Beck asked a Democratic strategist about "when did this gladiator type political arguing begin?" Duh -- when the imbecilic Bush got into office!!! In all the years that I've voted and studied the candidates, (and I've voted for both Rep. and Dem.), I never recall such a division of "hate or love" re: a prsident. President "Clouseau" (who can't say two sentences without making an ass of himself and is always fumbling for words when he doesn't have a script) has done absolutely nothing good for this country. So tell moron Beck to get his fat head out of his fat ass and see the real world. Because of "Clouseau" the economy is in terrible shape, we're spending billions of dollars on an unjustifiable war including countless lives, social security and healthcare is in shambles. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone c... Read more

I was raised in Saudi Arabia. I traveled the Middle East extensively. My career is that of nuclear antiterrorism for the US government. I have studied the radical Islamic fundamentalist mind. After listening to Glenn Beck for a while, I can tell you unequivocally that he "gets it." My only wish is that other news media people would dump their political correct stances and open their eyes like Glenn has. Thank you, Glenn!

The "Nancy Grace" show for men. Entertainment for the feebleminded. . .videos of "shocking" footage of children being trained to be terrorists? (1986 called and it wants its storyline back). . .consistently apoligizing for multiple foreign policy blunders by the present administration while claiming to be a 'centrist'. . .it is an entertainment montage of pro-isolantionism/anti-intellectualism. Yawn. I've seen this before. . .just don't call it news. . .as for the cries of 'political correctness' goes, there hasn't been anything more politically incorrect than to ask a challenging question concerning the consistent, obvious, and mutliple changing stances concerning our present foreign policy and its causes or ramifications. Quick! Put another fuzzy picture of a Middle-Easterner! Quick! Make fun of protesters! Quick! Put more film montages of people hating us! I didn't believe that Americans read at (on average) a 7th grade reading level until I caught several glimpses of this ... Read more

It's refreshing to see someone speak it like it is whether you agree or not and not try to sugarcoat the facts with polical correctness or being worried about "offending" anyone. Why are we so worried about offending the same people who have no qualms about wanting to KILL US?! You can state the facts honestly and then disagree about how to handle a situation...but all the facts should at least be available to everyone regardless of who they "offend." The truth is the truth and people need to get over it.

absolute NUT JOB. I have never seen someone so wrong about so many diverse topics. He can invent "facts" to scare america with the best of them. "What he knows" is always just simple ignorance without any relation to reality. I am still shocked every time I flip past him that CNN would lower even their B station to that level, sad, sad, sad. For all those of you who think he is funny, it is only that you get your understanding of the world from the likes of a Glenn Beck that you can possibly see the hate spewing from his mouth as humor.

Awful, just awful. He is either loose with the facts or, more likely, has really no idea what he is talking about. He makes simple factual errors all the time. Did he even graduate from high school? He also acts like he's on speed - no wonder he has ADD. This dumbed-down stinker of a show needs to get cancelled, now. I'm scared for America if this kind of amateur crap makes it on a news network.

It's amusing to see someone mention Glenn Beck and "common sense" in the same sentence. Someone else says he's not about the "right" or the "left." Have you folks listened to this guy at all? He's an ultra-right wing apologist for the Republican party without one iota of common sense. He's ALL about the right. He says the most idiotic things I've heard in years and at times he out-BSes Bill O'Reilly. That's no easy task! I've listened to his radio show and tried to watch one episode of his show on Headline News, but an intelligent person can only take so much of this guy.

Glenn Beck is THE thing that TV news has been missing. He does just fine on his radio show so he is not doing this show because he needs the money. He is an entertainer plain and simple and that is what he is out to do. At the same time if you would sit back and listen to what he has to say...I guarantee its what so many people have been begging to hear someone actually say to the world. He makes fun of Hollywood, he covers stories that make you proud to be an American not ashamed like so many people would like us to be. He makes people laugh because we need a little bit of laughter in our lives and he reminds us not to take everything so seriously. No matter what side of the fence you come from...if you can't sit back and watch this show and laugh a little...agree with his points even a little...then you are a lost cause and maybe even dead. Have you checked your pulse lately?
