They have been an excellent organation to work with. They tell you up front what is to be done and how long it should take.Each of their workers come in and start working on the projects. When they are done they will let you know so you can examen the work before they leave. I would recomend Gila Mesa Builders to anybody that wants something built or renovated.

They have been very professional, adjusting to any of the changes that I have made, and the quality of the various sub-contractors they have brought on has been very good. After I hired them for a new roof with and additional deck put on the roof, I hired them to completely gut and remodel by kitchen. It is nearly finished and it will be the dream kitchen that I had planned.

Our project involved expanding the kitchen by taking out two walls, tiling the floors and the bathrooms, and replacing the kitchen cabinets. The floor work was excellent, and completed faster than we expected. The structural work, likewise, was done quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we had several problems with the kitchen cabinets, which were the most expensive part of the project. Mr. Shinn is easy to work with, but does not seem to know much about making kitchens usable. In particular, the cabinets were built in small units, which reduced the functional storage space by anything from 25% to 50%. I asked specifically about bottom-mounted drawer guides, and he said that he had had numerous problems with them. I see such drawer guides at Lowes and Home Depot, however. Showed up on time, submitted firm bid, did job as promised, cleaned up pretty well. Would use him again.

I was very pleased with the kitchen remodel. I enjoyed working with this company very much. One suggestion: since I am new to remodeling, I should have been given more specific guidance as to what kind of appliances to buy. For example, I bought a fridge with an icemaker and an electric stove when i should have bought an electric stove and a fridge without an icemaker as there was no water line to the fridge. I do wish I would have been told more specifically. It would have avoided a lot of hassle. Otherwise, the service and the finished product are a dream. I am happy and more importantly, my mother is happy.

Out project was to remove a very large tree stump and expand our driveway. Although I felt that the estimate was a little high, I am more than pleased with the workmanship and service provided by Jerry Shinn Construction Co. The people were on time for both the estimate and the job, they completed their work in a reasonable amount of time and left the area cleaner than I expected. The people doing the work were courteous as was their supervisor, who was also helpful with questions I had regarding possible future projects. I would definitely hire this contractor again if I have a need for this type of servide and I would also recommend them to others.

My project grew from a bathroom remodel and addition to getting fancier with the bathroom and doing extra work on the patio. I LOVE the bathroom. Since I had never done any remodeling before, Jerry's suggestions were very helpful. The utility room is great, too. The subcontractor for the cabinets was the best!
