Gibson Costume Shop Inc

I had to use the establishment for my place of business and was highly impressed with their selection. I have always used Cherry's costume shop for personal use and I was willing to be open minded about a new venue. After recieving above par customer service at Cherry's, I expected the same due to the nature of the business. I was greeted very blandly, the staff seemed bothered that I was asking so many questions and was taking my time selecting costumes,and the management was rude when she answered my questions concerning the rental process at Gibson's. Overall, I would suggest to everyone, if you need a costume shop where the people are experienced, great business people, and willing to help their patrons as much as they possibly could( and they have a great selection also with amazing prices)...go to Cherry's costumes on Blanco. I normally don't comment on businesses, but I have never been to an establishment where the employees are consistently rude. I thought it would be a good place to patron since I do a lot of theatre. Theatrical makeup is expensive and I spend a lot of money on it, but they will receive no more of my business. I have visited the store three times. Each time the person behind the counter was rude and not helpful. It seemed like it was an imposition that I wanted to spend money there. I will order my makeup online. I would rather spend extra money on shipping than deal with such rude people.

Gibsons is the only costume place to shop at. They got everything you could think of. Nice friendly people. My kids love to go & browse. They have all kinds of neat things. The only draw back is the hours. I just wish they would stay open alittle later.

I have been to Gibson's about 4 times and everytime I've been there, different people have attended me, all of those people were rude to me and my family. Especially the elderly lady, she was the rudest one. Not only are they rude, but they also follow you around the store and I dont know about everyone else, but im just not comfortable like that. It's also very dark inside. They have nice costumes, thats for sure, but it's VERY EXPENSIVE!! I'm not going back!!!

I checked with Gibsons since they came up first on the internet, as well as Starline and they seemed to not be interested in helping me. Starline was better, but I didn't like the costume. I used Cherry's costumes who were resonable and I even made an after hours appointment. Of these three, I like Cherry's the best!
