I Had a Great Experience... Living with chronic lower back pain was a daily struggle until I found Gear Stin & Yoga yoga studio. Their yoga regimen miraculously healed my pain. I can't thank them enough. Before discovering this studio, I had experienced Biomagnetism therapy, which was remarkable. Biomagnetism employs a non-invasive and drug-free approach, it balances the body’s pH levels with magnets, accelerating healing and promoting overall well-being. Due to its non-invasive, drug free-approach, it seamlessly integrates with any treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend Gear Stin & Yoga yoga studio to consider integrating Biomagnetism into their practice for their practitioners’ enhanced healing. I love spinning! I didn't think I would but I do. I have always been intimidated but Lisa's class was very welcoming. She's motivating and inspiring, but not like a drill sergeant. Gear offers many great classes. Chad's sports conditioning class is a mix of boxing and hardcore cardio drills. He's awesome.

Gear is awesome! I have been taking indoor cycling classes for years but this place really rocks! Seriously people you may have a gym you already take classes but you should try Gear. They just added a sports conditioning class with boxing techniques and it's way cool. Check it out!

Hollywood needs some business and Gear is making that happen. I work in Hollywood and I have been going to a gym closer to my home, further west because there wasn't a fitness studio near work until Gear opened. Thank you! It's so convenient. The spinning and yoga classes are some of the best ever.

I have been to many gyms, big gyms, little gyms and I have to say Gear has beat them all. If you are looking for an overall fitness studio with knowledgeable instructors then this is the place. I originally was just interested in taking yoga but I tried Lisa's spinning class and although it was hard as heck :) I have to admit I came back for more.

I'm not a guy who likes to workout. Never have been. I was told by a friend that getting a personal trainer may help with the fact that I really do not like to workout. He told me that like 2 years ago. Another friend has been training with Lisa for over 2 years and finally I gave in. I'm happy. I've lost around 25 pounds. Lisa got her own gym, Gear a few months ago and she deserves it. She's a hard core spinning teacher too.

I recently stumbled across Gear in Hollywood as I was walking along and I am so happy I did. It's been at least a year since I had taken a yoga class and was nervous to get back into it-scared actually. I finally got up the nerve and took Nicole's Monday evening class and she made me remember why I enjoy the practice to much. Thank you!

I gotta tell you, I am completely enamored with GEAR!!!!! The spinning class is one of the best I have ever taken. Lisa, the owner and head instructor, pushes you to go farther and at the same time encourages you where you are at. I leave the class drenched but thoroughly and completely satisfied that I got the most out of myself. If you want a great workout and you want to get what you PAY for.... then you definitely need to show up!!!!! And she seems to also have a knack for hiring great teachers as well. I took Yoga for the first time last week at GEAR with Nicole and I am hooked!!!!! So all i can say is see you there!!!!!!

I love Lisa's spinning classes! I took my first class with her a year and a half ago and haven't looked back. It's a really great workout and she always has the best music. She changes her music all the time so that you don't get bored. I have taken other people's classes and they are just not the same. So, if you are interested in a workout that takes only 45 minutes of your time, is actually fun, and provides a kick-ass cardio and calorie burn, then you need to get over to Hollywood(it only takes me 10 minutes from the valley) and jump on a spinning bike asap! For those of you thinking that you are not in shape and won't be able to do this class, I always start the class with my only goal being to stay on the spinning bike for the whole class. I always manage to accomplish this goal and always feel great afterwards!

This place is fantastic. I'm a former spinning instructor trying to get back into shape and was looking locally for a studio but I was not looking forward to the high prices & bad attitude that comes with most studios or the impersonal, sterile enviornment that comes with the corporate fitness facilities. When I walked into GEAR and spoke to Lisa I knew this was THE place. Lisa's classes have a free energy that builds throughout with an ecclectic and extremely groovable selection of music that inspires you to push yourself harder. The studio feels free, yet intimate. It was nice to not be given five million rules when I walked in the door and wonderful not feel like I'm overpaying. I highly recommend GEAR to anyone who wants to start on the road to fitness (or to get back on the road:) in a relaxed, non-intimidating and positive enviornment you can challenge yourself in. You won't regret it!!!

I hate working out but I had a blast with the trainer and the bikes. Great non-pressure environment. Fun rustic space with a good sound system. DO IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

I love this place. I have been on this little journey to live longer and started by losing a bunch of weight (about a 7 year old). This place is helping me do that. The instructors ( go Nicole and Lisa) are great at making sure you are doing yoga or spinning in way that wont hurt you. Hope to see some more of my musician buds there.

If you have never taken a spinning class before or you're just looking to pump up your workout, this is the place for you. Lisa and her staff make each class so much fun. with great music and great attitude they'll make you go that extra mile without being pushy. the studio is great, the bikes are really comfortable. i also recommend their Yoga class. like many guys i was afraid of it; but, Nicole ( the instructor) made me feel really comfortable.

I have had several personal trainers but never someone who could make working out fun and take exercise to another level. I have been training with Lisa for 4 years. She can motivate like no one I know. I was training with her at another gym before she opened Gear and I followed her because I can't imagine working with another trainer.

I always have a great time spinning with Lisa! Don't get me wrong, she will make sure you get a good hard work out but she is so motivational and inspirational that you feel so good about the workout. Great music is always a plus for a spinning class and she definitely picks the right music to get you pumped and ready for a great ride!

For a newbie like myself, spinning was kind of terrifying. I overcame my apprehension and after one class with Lisa, I was hooked. The music, energy, and the overwhelming positive vibe of the entire place was enough for me to schedule personal training sessions with Lisa. I've never belonged to a gym before but I've finally found one!

if you're looking for incredible music, instruction, and location, than this is it! By far the most enthusiastic and inspiring teacher. New York style loft interior. Best disc jockey. You're missing out if you don't check it out=)

Lisa is my favorite spinning instructor ever! The music is always motivating and the classes are tough but adjustable to any level (including my 8 and 1/2 months pregnant level!) The atmosphere is non-intimidating and great for beginners but Lisa is fit enough to kick your butt even if you are Lance Armstrong!

Lisa teaches the best spin class in town. She makes it an intense workout, but fun too. she is simply the best at motivating a class and pushing people to the max. and it helps immensely that she has incredible taste in music. I have been spinning for several years, and i haven't found a class that gave me as good a workout as this one.

I've been spinning with Lisa for a year now and will follow her anywhere! I come all the way from the valley to experience the best spinning los angeles has to offer. Great studio! Great music! You WILL get an amazing workout - prepare to sweat! You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish with Lisa's movtivating style of teaching. A must for anyone who wants to loose weight, tone up, or just feel better :-)

Hey fellow spinners! You haven't really been to a spin class until you've taken a class at GEAR. Lisa is a great instructor - very motivating. It's one of Hollywood's hidden gems. You will get a lot of attention from the instructors and the vibe is very down-to-earth. No membership fees - reasonable prices - a variety of classes (spin, yoga, boot camp, personal training). It's definitely hip by Hollywood standards but without the attitude.

I'm relatively new to spinning, but I liked spinning at Gear a lot -- it's a thorough workout, but Lisa makes it easy for a first-timer. If you've done spinning before, you know the instructor makes all the difference. And if you haven't, you should definitely try it, and Gear is the place to go. Great space, great music, great way to get in shape.

As soon as I walked in the door I immediately felt comfortable and inspired. I took Lisa's 7:30pm spin class on a Monday and I enjoyed her wide variety of music and her spin style-it's all about rhythm and it made me dig deeper than any class I've experienced. Took my first yoga the following Wednesday at 6:30pm with Stella. She helped me disconnect from my mind and connect to my body. Can't wait to take the pilates and bootcamp classes.
