If you’re the kind of person that buys a game and plays the same game for months on end then this type of service may not be for you. However, a lot of gamers will finish a game in just a couple of weeks or sometimes even in just a few days and then never play it again. At about $60 a piece for new games it doesn’t make sense for people who finish games quickly and never play them again to purchase these games because the costs add up very quickly. For people that play a lot of different games, renting is a great option but when you rent from a local vendor you only get the game for a few days and you either have to rush to finish it or you have to pay more to keep the game longer. With Game Fly you can keep your games as long as you want to and send them back when you’re ready for a new one.

Gamefly! is the largest online video game rental service for a reason and the reason is because their service and selection is large and diverse and for a lot of serious gamers using Gamefly! lets them play many more games than they would otherwise be able to and it helps them save a lot of money. Rent games for your Wi from GameFly™. Start for $7.95 or Try For Free!

Part of the problem is that some users, without even knowing that they are, try to compare renting on every level with the positive side of buying, which you just can't do. It's like trying to compare buying a car with renting a car. If you've decided that buying a car is not financially or socially feasible then renting is a great option if you still need to use a car. Of course renting or buying a car can be frustrating, but if you've already decided that you can't buy, then you start to see all the positive things about renting that far outweigh any frustration. Of course, some rental companies are better than others, but if you compare each one to the best things about buying, then you'll never be able to enjoy the benefits of renting. I rent for one reason: at today's game prices I can afford to play only a small number of games if I buy. And if you've decided to rent video games, from my experience, Gamefly is the best option. I've tried a few of their competitors, including bloc... Read more

Gamefly has been awesome for me. Figure I should leave a review here. I have a couple game consoles and have been using Gamefly's 2 at a time subscription for $20 a month for a couple years. What sold me is that a year of gamefly is only about what 4 new games would cost and with gamefly I can play 40 plus a year. Like netflix they dont have any late fees and you can keep the game as long as you want. Unlike Netflix they let buy the game you're renting if you want which imo is so cool. And the buy price is always really good. I like the 2 game plan so I keep one game while sending back the other, then I always have a game. They have something like 5 shipping center all over, so it really doesn't matter where you live. Once your a member for a while they start to kick down some good rewards and discounts. I have to totally recommend gamefly any house that has gamers. Not only do I get to play all the games I want, I'm spending a lot less on games than we ever did without gamefly.
