I didn't like the ending, and some of the events hinged too much on the character doing a certain thing at a certain place. Still, it was fascinating, and quite original (and perhaps less far-fetched than the previous two in the series).

The Gabriel Knight series is one of the most revered and respected names in the adventure game genre, and with good reason. They are immensely well researched, all have excellent plots and believable characters, and feature real human emotions in a believable setting... with a HUGE dose of the supernatural. the best quest i ever played! Jane Jensen did a fantastic job with this game, it got mystery, great story and a very cool graphic engine. what i also liked is that it's not like any other quest game, here you don't have to combine all kinds of objects or any of the annoying s**t that allways got me stuck in other quests, here you will collect fingerprints, research in sidney, read, cross information, spy on others, this is just so fun, it's like an investigating quest, it's never boring and it gives you a great challenge without bieing frustrating. i particularry liked the serpant ruge puzzale, it was amaizing and encredibly fun.
