    I would give ZERO STARS if I could! When we got to Las Vegas, my husband's bag had been rifled through -- all of his clothing was shoved to one side, which is very odd because he is an EXTREMELY careful packer. Anyway, a brand new dress shirt (still in packaging) and new watch (in its box) were both stolen. The cost of the items was about $350. Frontier says: too bad. We take no responsiblilty. Basically, our employees can open your bags, take their pick of all your belongings, and you don't have any way to recover them. They offered us a $75 travel voucher, but obviously we won't be flying with them again, since they employ and defend theives. I know that some people will say that we our to blame for not locking our luggage, but last time I did that, the entire zipper of my suitcase was ripped out so that TSA could check my bag. So I guess you really can't win.

    I bought a last minute ticket this week to attend a funeral for a dear family friend. The night before the trip I ended up in the ER with my 6 day old daughter who had a fever. It was incredibly scary for about 76 hours, and the last thing on my mind was canceling my ticket. 5 days later she is still in the hospital but stable so I had a minute to call about my missed reservation. Terry, a supervisor, told me too bad. no refund. no credit. Because I bought the so-called "economy ticket" which is anything but on a last minute flight, there was nothing I could do about it because that was the way their computer system worked. she was so smug and condescending she had the nerve to tell me that I had read the terms and conditions and I should have been aware of their policy. When I told her it was that kind of customer service that made the airline industry what it was, she told me Frontier had the best customer service in the industry. I am stunned.

    I had the worse airline experience ever (both on the ground and in the air)! I will NEVER fly Frontier again, and advise everyone else to avoid them as well. After flying them this weekend, I can see why there are in bankruptcy, teetering on survival. First, they moved the flight times three times in four months, making it difficult to plan when to pull my daughter out of the school early n order to make the initial departure flight. Second, it really didn’t matter what time they said the times were because all four legs were late. The first outbound leg was delayed more than an hour while we sat on an airplane with no air conditioning or ventilation while the captain tried to correctly file the appropriate paperwork for us to depart.     Frontier airlines is the WORST domestic airline in the US. I missed a flight around Xmas time, and the people working at the counter were unprofessional and completely inept. Frontier could not get me on a flight the next day (after a wretched night in the airport), so I found a one-way fare on Southwest. On my return on Frontier, I inquired about the fact that I did not use the inbound portion of my ticket. I was told that I could use the amount as a credit for a future Frontier flight. Today I tried to use that credit, and I was told that I had to subtract a $150 change fee from that credit to use it on another Frontier flight! RIDICULOUS! I hope this airline goes bankrupt fast. They are pathetic. Fly Southwest. So much better, friendlier staff, more appropriate rules and regulations.

    I fly frequently due to work, and last year I was on Frontier for over 40,000 miles. I can say in all my trips, I was EARLY or exactly on-time all but 2 flights--and both of those flights were due to high winds at the Denver airport. Even with an hour delay, I still made it to my destination on time! Frontier's planes are new, clean, and have good seats. They fly only Airbus jets (or the larger Q400 props (over 70 seats) for their smaller markets). No tiny 40 seat regional jets!!! The TVs make the flight go by faster. You only have to fly 15,000 miles to earn benefits as a frequent flyer. The flight crews have always been very nice and professional. Most of the reviews on here seem to be from one-time, one-instance, infrequent flyers/passengers who are mad about something that either was out of anyone's control OR was their own fault (buying tickets for the wrong date, etc).     In this day and age when we are struggling to make ends meet they charge $150 for a change fee.This is ludicrous. I have flown with Southwest for years. They are terrific! If you make a change there is no charge! I should have stayed with my gut adn stayed with Southwest! Frontier never again. I hope they do go out of business!

    What an awful airline! I really hope they are the first airline to go out of business this year. The employees were all so rude, and cared very little about anyone on the flight. It was like a "sit down and shut up" attitude. On top of that, you have to pay for everything... checking baggage, food, TV. They always overbook flights. We ended up late getting there and coming back.

    My family and I booked six seats from Washington Reagan National to Salt Lake City. Although we reserved six seats together, when we checked in, we were seated several seats apart from each other. When I told the check in agent that we needed to sit with our children, the agent said she couldn't do anything. I asked for a supervisor. There was none. I asked for their corporate number, but all I got was a recording that went to the same recorded loop no matter which option I selected. I have flown many airlines, but this is the worst domestic experience I have ever had. No wonder this airline is in bankruptcy. Their customer service is the worst and there reserved seats mean nothing.

    The flight was late leaving one city because of something wrong with their plane causing many people to miss their connecting flights. After Frontier was very unhelpful to help find a flight. Even though it was Saturday and it was a major airport they told me I might have to wait until Monday to leave. I was supposed to be the first on stand by but people in line after me ended up getting tickets. I was surprised because I am always really nice to people. I am not a person to ever get upset because I understand how things happen out of control. Most people on Frontier were very rude and treated another lady's kid very bad. I could go on and on about how they treated everyone very bad. I hope I don't have to ever fly this airline again!

    what a nightmare! the flight i paid for was delayed for 4 hours due to mechanical troubles, not weather. then the next connecting flight got me to my destination at 11:30 pm. they would not comp me a hotel and there were no rooms available anywhere near. the only other option was to take a taxi for 80miles to my friends house in the middle of the night. thinking that it could not get any worse, my bags were lost somewhere along the way. it's been 3 days now and i am without clean cloths or my hard drive which contained everything i needed for my work related trip. the woman in charge at the lost baggage counter could not have been less helpful and could barely speak english. at this point i almost feel embarrassed for them. TIP: you get what you pay for. in my case though, i also lost about $2000 on top the charge for a less than par experience. i am sure that once in a blue moon they arrive on time with everyones baggage, i have yet to have that luxury.     Flight 148 (den)to (IAH) 7/22/08.Depart 8:35 pm. We arrived in Colorado and got seat number and gate only to find out that gate was changed to another gate within 2 minutes of being given the first gate number. Then they started loading the plane but had to stop cause not enough stewardesses on the plane so we had to wait 30-45 minutes for her to come to work! On landing in Houston, the pilot makes the sarcastic remark in a very countrified voice that "we are now at the George W. Buuuuuush airport! (obviously making fun of George W. Bush).I am a certified crane operator dedicated to keeping my people safe in whatever I am doing with a crane...so should a pilot think this way or quit his job. Some airlines are having hard times and some NEED to go broke. For the safety of all people, I think your airlines is one that certainly needs to go out of business.

    I am a Summit member of Frontier airlines which is their highest status. I have really noticed a decline in performance. Their customer service agents, both at the counters and the phone are starting to act just like everyone else. If they are going to start treating their highest level members like crap, I might as well go to United, where I expect to be treated like crap but they have a much larger route network.

    I flew Frontier Airlines for the first time August 2007 roundtrip from Houston to Las Vegas (stopping in Denver of course). This airline royally sucks. The flight crew was mostly rude and leg space is very limited. They don't serve any food. The biggest thing that pissed me off was on my way back I checked in four bags but somehow only three made it on the plane. I guess after they realized they're mistake the put the fourth bag on a Continental Airlines plane that was to arrive in Houston around the same time. Needless to say I have not received my bag. If I wanted my bag on a different airline, I would have flown on one. The bag contain a very sentimental gift for my kids that was to large for carry on. I was really looking forward to giving that souvenir to them after being away from them that long for the first time. Frontier f*ck it all up. I will NEVER fly them again. TAKE HEED!!!

    Frontier Airlines was not helpful nor truthful about a delay on a flight from Orange County CA (John Wayne Airport, "SNA") to Denver and then on to Indianapolis on August 2, 2007. The flight was to depart at 8 p.m. We arrived and were checked in by 5:30 p.m. At ~ 7:20 p.m., with a "published" boarding time of 7:30 p.m., no one from Frontier was at the gate. We overheard another customer state that she was told that the flight would be delayed and that anyone making connections out of Denver most likely would miss the connecting flight. The "board" still read an 8:00 p.m departure time. With no Frontier agent/service availabe the "gate side" of Security, my husband went back out to the ticket counter as I tried to call Frontier. After 24 minutes and 12 seconds on hold, an agent responded on the phone, at the very same side my husband came through Security again and said he had been told the flight was cancelled.     Departing flight was 7 hours late due to mechanical failure. Frontier lied when they said they put me on another flight. Made me miss my connection in Denver. Unfortunately, no more flights were available that late at night. Frontier also refused to pay for a hotel. The hotel cost me more than the flight.

    Have always been on time for me, friendly staff....the guy at the check in counter was cracking jokes and doing voice impersonations and the individual TV's are cool.

    I recently flew from Chicago/Midway to Seattle via Denver on Frontier, and I could not have been happier. Friendly staff who were happy to help where they could, flights that left on time and arrived on time, plenty of entertainment options. I look forward to flying with them again. Also, I am a frequent flyer member, and the booking rules for this are so easy-- I had no problem (and no extra cost) when I needed to switch a flight.

    Here's all you need to know about Frontier: There's live TV from every seat (for $5), each plane has an animal painted on the wing that is promoted on the flight (Earl the Walrus!), the fares are pretty cheap. If any of those things sound appealing to you, Frontier might be the airline for you.

    Oh,where do I begin? I will start by saying that their policy and customer service is TERRIBLE! My son and I were going to the Seatac Airport so he could go to Denver. We arrived 1 hour prior to departure and were told the deadline for check-in is 45 minutes before departure. Well the lady,Billie,had an aditude to begin with. She was giving us a hard time about UMs [unacompanied minors] taking more time than "a normal check-in".So eventualy we asked for her supervisor's name and #. Then she said that we would try to make the flight well after the 45 minute deadline. She gave us the UM sheet and a 40$ fee and I said "I still want your supervisor's name and #".Then right after that she said " Ooopps,he can't go on this flight". So she called her supervisor as we were telling cutomers of Fronteir what we thought and knew about it.     Frontier Airlines is a fairly new airline that is based out of Denver, CO. I personally found it to be the best airline to take while living in Denver. Their frequent flyer rewards program is actually useful and I was able to receive a free roundtrip ticket after about a year and a half of (alot of) flying. Their fares are reasonable, their cabin room is decent, a snack is provided and the flights are usually smooth. They even have a tv on the back of the seats to show you where your flying over and of course the usual $5.00 for directTv. The only downfall of this airline is that no matter where you fly you have to stop in Denver. Also international flights are limited to Calgary, Canada and Mexico and are expensive.

    It is called a discount airline, but it reminds me of how pleasurable flying used to be. They actually serve food on flights, the seat pitch is nice, with more leg room, and to be able to fly nonstop somewhere these days is fantastic. Most B737's I have flown on are cattle cars, but the Airbus has more seat space. They do tend to change flight times more than I would like. Overall, I would be willing to pay a little extra to fly on a comfortable airplane non-stop.

    I flew to Phoenix recently with this airline and was pleased with just about everything. The crew was friendly and we didn't crash. That's about all I'm concerned with.

    I flew them from DC to Las Vegas (connected through Denver) and was VERY pleased with everything. Chatty, friendly crew, smooth flight, attentive service, and best of all, a small TV screen in the back of all seats. I am a geography buff and like to know what I'm flying over--and that navigational map was great. I don't need DirecTV to keep me entertained, but they offer it. And the planes are beautiful, inside and out. Love the animal pictures on the tails. Only drawback is not enough flights on the east coast, but I will fly them whenever I go west.

    A great airline! I flew on business from Orange County to Denver, and it was way better than expected. The slogan now is that they use only new airplanes...and I have to say this airplace was beautiful. It was pretty roomy...much roomier than expected. Each cheap seat had its own LCD screen in the back of the seat in front of you, that showed DirectTV, as well as an up-to-the-minute naigational map showing your location on your route to your destination. I hate flying....because the turbulence bugs me. On this plane, I never noticed the small amount of turbulence, because I was so entertained. It was a super smooth flight, and the pilot made an excellently smooth landing. Staff was wonderful, and snacks were better than expected. Definitely much better than I ever expected!!!

    This airline is only getting two stars because of their safety standard, both times I flew with this airline I always felt safe. But overall, this airline is bad. Rude flight attendants, horrid food (if you get any), no entertainment, and the seats are uncomfortable. I will never fly with this airline again, even if they do have cheap tickets...no thanks.

    Frontier is great, and a lot less expensive than the major carriers. They're getting new planes, which should be a great addition. They don't usually have a lot of flights per day, so you might have to be flexible, especially if they cancel a flight. But I've flown them over twenty times and it has been a good experience every time.

    I flew Frontier for my last two flights, and I had a good experience overall. One thing that stood out was how nice the flight attendants were. One woman even offered to carry my bag down the aisle of the plane, which has never happened to me before on another airline. On my flight to Las Vegas, the flight attendants organized an entertaining betting game. The snacks they served (hot pretzels with mustard, chips and salsa, and Wheatables) were tasty and and a nice change from the standard bag of peanuts. The only drawback was that one of my flights was delayed by an hour- hardly anything to complain about these days, though. I definitely plan to fly Frontier in the future whenever I can.
