Fri Jan 11 2008This was not my first time at this restaurant, I had gone close to 10 years ago so I can't remember that much about it but... I can tell you that I was very impressed by the ambiance of this place. When I walked in, I realized that they definitely made some upgrades/renovations that were a nice touch. I liked the fact that my coat was taken before I sat down (even though I felt at times that the host was a bit snobbish--he redeemed himself before we left).. anyways, they led me and my friend to our table in the solar panel "outside" dining area which I truly enjoyed. Really nice atmosphere. The waitress was nice and attentive but I felt at times she was a bit TOO attentive like she wanted us to hurry up and finish eating so that we could get--we had reservations sort of close to close. So, that sort of sucked... But, the food was good, nothing to write home about but definitely content with what I had. I plan on making reservations for a date night out with my fiance.

Sat Feb 03 2007Overpriced and relying on its reputation ! Bad evening started with the Valet. Very cold out and I had called to make sure they have valet service. Unfortunately, when we got there, the valet was 'backed up'and gave us directions on where to self park - not easy in this area ! Found the menu to be very limited and the service was terrible. It was about 20 minutes before we even got a drink. With 8:00 reservayions.. got our entrees at 9:45. Two in our party ordered duck which the chef recommended to be served medium rare. We both preferred to have medium to medium well - and discussed with the waiter. But - it came medium rare anyway, or as my friend noted - the chef wanted to serve it his way ! Also, waiter never checked back to see if it was ok, even though one of us couldn't even it that way. Poor service, so-so food, very big bill ! I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Tue Oct 17 2006I couldn't believe the place. We sat under the heated canopy and the ambience was wonderful as was the food. Highly impressed with the knowledgable staff and the excellent cuisine.

Thu Oct 30 2003a great place with the freshest food. they don't even have a freezer (that's what the waiter told us!) We had dinner under the heated canopy. I didn;t think the decor was anything special, I think the bar itslef has a history to it. But the food is good, fresh and upscale. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Take a date to pop the ?? or to celebrate an occasion- or if the company is flipping the bill!

Tue Dec 03 2002If you're looking to impress a date or have a very special occasion, this is the place to go. The food is top notch. The menu is an esoteric cornucopia of flavors and ingredients. I'd recommend starting with one of their fruit infused cosmopolitans or a glass from their extensive wine list. Their pate is also fantastic, but be sure to leave room for the main course. On my last trip I had the vennison which was truly the best I've ever had. My complements to the chef for the unusual and exquisit menu selections they have put together. The only downside to the Frog and the Peach is the tab, drinks, an appetizer, 2 dishes and dessert (a must!) can easily run you over $200 for 2, but it's definetly worth it every now and again. Dress is formal and reservations are a must on the weekend.
