I absolutely loved this show...I enjoyed it while it was on television...and was devastated when it was cancelled...bought it on dvd though, characters were so lifelike and worked so well together I thought.

I've just seen a few episodes within the past few months (my friend has it on dvd). It's alright, a goody goody girl going bad b/c of a guy.

I only remember seeing one episode of this... as far as being a good family show, it seemed to have merit. I would have liked to have seen more of it.

This was actually a really good show. I was not in hi school in 1981 so it is an interesting look. I thought it was well done. Too late to bring it back though.

This was a brilliant television show. It was heartwarming, funny, touching and so on the mark with the targets it was trying to hit week to week. It was a disastrous decision by NBC to cancel this. If it had given this show a real chance it could have had a gem on its hands.

this was a great show, that should not have been cancelled. The teen and young adult actors were wonderful. I loved how they showed what high school was like for the rest of us it never really got the chance to find an audience.and now it's our loss of a well made show.

Freaks and Geeks is a show that deserved to air a lot longer than the one season it lasted. It was a womderful, heartwarming show that the whole family could watch. It's such a shame that good shows get cancelled while garbage continues to hit the airways.

This may be the best show ever made for television. That it was never given a chance is a tragedy and makes me sad that I wont get to see where the characters were going and how they would have developed. The show was just hitting its stride as well. Ah well, that's life, and, as this show so eloquently presented, life ain't fair.

I LOVE freaks and geeks. It was a show us highschoolers could relate to in every way imaginable. It made me feel like there were others just like me out there, and that i was not alone. And to top it off this is not depressing show. tHere were some really hilarious parts. I loved bill haverchuck and his lines the most Stuff like My cousin went into coma and came out of it speaking fluent spanish and the part where the fat kid gordon says he is happy with what god gave him and so bill remarks the lord sure gave you alot! Those were my favorite lines among the rest! why this show got cancelled makes no sense. It's the stunning kind of thing that should be debated in a philosophy show. F&G; rules!

The best and most realistic show about real teens. NBC never gave it a proper chance to succeed due to their CONSTANTLY moving it around various time slots and never giving it a decent time slot. I really wished it was on Thursday nights after Friends.

I don't think Freaks & Geeks was a great show, but I still liked it. NBC didn't give it a chance at all, yet they let that awful Friends stay on for a decade.

Freaks and Geeks was one of the funniest shows ever to hit the airwaves. Anyone who grew up during the 70s could identify with what happened to the characters! Great writing, great actors...just an ignorant network that didn't promote the show!

Once again network execs make a bad decision and kill a fabulously written and acted show. Freaks and Geeks was clever and funny--I suppose way too clever for the NBC head honchos. At least Fox Family had the smarts to pick up the reruns. Too bad there wasn't more episodes.

This has to be one of the most funny and charming shows to ever be on TV, I have no idea why anyone would not like it. "i havent seen it but I just know Id hate it," that comment is just sad but what is even more sad is that someone said they found that commend helpful! What is wrong with you people? This is the same person whos said Strangers With Candy was a good show and gave another show on comedy central a bad rating...' I hate this show because it's on Comedy Central (who cancelled Strangers With Candy)' Actually watch a freakin' show before rating it. Freaks and Geeks was a wonderful show, and if you don't like it.. you can go back to watching your reruns of Friends and other fake sitcoms..

My husband and I miss this show SO much!!!!! We actually looked forward to Mondays! I didn't have a favorite tv show for years until Freaks and Geeks was aired. What a wonderfully written show, and the actors were amazing! How dare they cancell it! I AM grateful we taped most of the episodes. (Yes, all the good shows get "canned!" How sad!) Sad without Freaks and Geeks, Rebecca

I cried when they cancelled this. I felt like a friend had died. The series was so real. I went to high school during the time period this was set in, and everything seemed so perfect. The clothes, the attitudes. The actors were awesome. Why does good tv so often get canned? Why do we all watch so much crap and miss the good stuff?

I miss this show, the scene forever etched into my mind has to be when the nerdy guy with glasses says "We're here to...kick your butt". Even my mom loved it! Or the part when Lidsneys friend says, "You're on the pot!". Good show!

Why was this show taken off the air. It was soo funny, & all the actors & actresses on it were very good. I watch the reruns on FoxFamily all the time. (They are on Tuesdays at 8-9 & 9-10 eastern time) This show should be put back on. I personally think it should have a bigger audiance. I mean it explains what life was like in High School for adults. I mean I wasn't even alive at the time that it takes place & I still think it is hillarious.

Whoever cancelled this show must be the stupidest moron to ever walk the earth. It's one of the funniest most realistic and downright sarcastic shows to ever be shown on television. Plus it has the best one liners of any tv show ever SHOWN (see below). Whoever cancelled this show is a freaking idiot, considering it won an emmy, and is up for another emmy this year. I don't see "Popular" winning any emmys. Lines: "Rock n'Roll doesn't come from your guitar! It comes from your crotch!" "No thank you, I prefer to get high on life." I award the 2nd one "Cheesiest Line of all Time".

I can't believe there were ppl who actually gave this show one star. Whoever you ppl are, you can all kiss my ass. This show rules, and the dumbasses who cancelled it know it, or they wouldn't have moved it to Fox Family. I never get tired of this show. It's REAL. It makes sense. And ppl who can't see that are even dumber than the dumbasses who cancelled this show.

WHAT A SHAME THAT SUCH A CHARMING & BRILLIANT SHOW HAD TO BE CANCELLED! F & G IS A CLASSIC! THE SHOWS WRITERS, PRODUCERS, & CAST HAVE PERFECTLY PORTRAYED WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE A HIGHSCHOOL STUDENT IN THE LATE 70'S & EARLY 80's! IN ONE SCENE WHERE "LINDSAY" GOES TO HANG OUT IN THE SMOKERS COURTYARD FOR THE FIRST TIME WAS HYSTERICAL! IT BROUGHT ME RIGHT BACK TO MY HIGHSCHOOL, HAVING HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE! I'LL WATCH IT IN RE-RUN 'TIL THEY TAKE IT OFF THE AIR, BUT I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS TAKEN OFF THE AIR!

Whatever happened to shows like The Wonder Years. This was a really horrible attempt to clone The Wonder Years. I can't belive that Freaks and Geeks lasted this long, becuase it is such a boring show, and there's never a plot. Where are you Kevin Arnold, we need you now!

I have no idea whatsoever these people were thinking whenever they cancelled this show! It's the funniest show I have ever seen in my entire life. Whenever I heard the show was cancelled, I wanted to run to the station and hit a few people over the head with a frying pan. I was very upset. My family and I would sit in the living room and watch the show as a famliy, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh. The storyline was literal, and the actors and actresses were phenomenal.

This show made me feel like I was back in school again, it was so awesome to see a show about things that actually went on while I was that age. I still can't believe NBC took the show off the air. It was their fault for not letting it get alot of ratings, by taking it off for movies and such. I miss this show!!!!

I'm really disappointed that "Freaks and Geeks" was cancelled because I think it's an outstanding drama. The show is about two groups of high school kids who don't fit into the mainstream social hierarchy. The show focuses on a brother (who's a "geek") and a sister (who's a "freak"), and the plots spiral out from their problems and friendships. There are two things that make this show great. First, everything about it is realistic, from the problems the characters face to the clothes they wear. Second, the acting is outstanding. There are no "model" types pretending to be actors here. Linda Cardellini (who plays Lindsey) and Martin Starr (who plays Bill) stand out in particular. Watching "Freaks and Geeks" is like taking a trip back in time to high school. Although it's no consolation for the fact that the show was cancelled, I'm grateful that Fox Family Channel is still airing it, including some episodes that were never shown, on Tuesday nights.

The best new show on television! Intelligently written, with wry humor and heartrending reality both in abundance. Wonderfully cast, beautifully acted, and expertly produced. It probably won't last the season...
