Wed Jan 27 2010Stay away from this university unless you are seeking plenty aggravation and a serious lack of organization. This is what I experienced throughout my entire process from the application process all the way down to, well I'm still experiencing aggravations with this university and I'm not attending there any more. I was a straight A student with a 4.0 GPA. That was until my wife became seriously ill and it forced me to not complete the classes that I was enrolled in dusing my last semester. As a result, I knew that I would receive failing grades in the 4 classes that I was enrolled in which as you can imagine was not what I wanted to do having maintained a 4.0 GPA up to that point but of course my family was my first priority at the time. At the end of the semester after receiving my report card I learned that 2 of my professors gave me a grade of "Z" and 2 of my professors gave me a grade of "E" which is the grade that I expected from all 4 professors. However, due to the grade being p... Read more

Thu Jun 21 2007I'm a current student of Vantage MBA. I must say that this is one of the best I've seen in Ohio valley for the price you pay. The structure of the program is well thought out and presents ample of real life experiences. The courses focuses on Leadership, Decision Making, Dealing with ambiguity and a general business life-cycle of a business. Before you get in the actual business learnings, the course lets you know -- who you are?, what you are made of? and where you need to go? through the personal development courses.www.franklin.edu

Wed Sep 22 2004I have to disagree with mac1 opinion that is two years old. The University has revamped the program since and continues to make it better. I thought the program was very effective in allowing you to think outside the box unlike some traditional schools. The group projects allowed me to learn more from those that have experience. Everyone does not just get an A. In fact, we have had a couple Cs and Ds. I do not work for the University; I just enjoyed my experience with it.

Thu Aug 05 2004This school community college alliance program has offered me a chance at earning a bachelor degree in computer science that I may not have otherwise had. i have not taken any of the online courses yet as I am still finshing up my bridge classes but I have found the staff every helpful and willing to listen to my concerns. I have no idea how the staff on campus may be. But the ones I have dealt with through thier community college alliance program are outstanding.

Sat Nov 16 2002The MCM program at Franklin University in Columbus Ohio is absolutely awful. I would not recommend it to anyone. The classes are too much the same and taught by professors that do not really care and just want to make a fast buck at a second job. The career services is a joke. The entire program consists of annoying group projects. One particular professor ranks students in groups by his percieved importance of you job. The upper, middle and lower level students are all ranked together. What kind of learning environment is this? I came to school to learn from everyone? How can I learn from the higher level students if I never get the opportunity to work with them? The University does nothing to to foster unity or networking among students in the program. I wonder if professors even read the papers. Everyone typically gets an A just for showing up. There is an attendance policy in most classes but favored studens can often not follow the policy and still get an A.The whole thing is jus... Read more
