Fri Jan 02 2009i get a foundation board (vertigo 7.75) its accutily pretty nice nice , if got it for 4 moths and then i buy a new one because it lost the pop the concave wasnt that good it was kind of flat the deck wasnt heavy but not light something between ! but it was pretty strong i think foundation boards are pretty good for skater who skating very fast and jump off high things or handrails its not so good for tricks like tre flip to nose manual nollie heel out sure u can do it with the boards one or twice but it not made for that ! my opinion

Tue Dec 23 2008Foundations are super light and durible they hav a lot of pop(until they get razor tail), but if you land bolts a lot(like I do) you'll get pressure cracks easily. I have had mine for about 3 months but I haven't really been able to skate it since it's been rainning a lot, but I severly water-logged it and now it's very flexy. But still hasn't broken, which, is amazing because I do stair sets. So I would recommend this to a beginner or some one who doesn't go off of high things, like ledges, picnic tables and even stair sets. The graphics do come off easily though, which doesn't really matter unless you like the graphics.

Mon Nov 10 2008Another one of those brands that has stood the test of time. Their boards are great though, i had a few foundations growing up as a kid and loved them for their durability. Its the same wood as a toy machine if you have ever had one of those. http://www.utilityboardsupply.com/get_list_138 .htm

Tue Jan 09 2001While boards like Zoo York dominate the new hip hop consciousness in skateboarding, the skate company Foundation represents the punk rock, mess around roots of skateboarding. They've managed to never take themselves too seriously and their product graphics always have funny stuff like "poo-poo" on them. This makes them more of a hit with adolescent white kid skaters who can't relate to the new hip hop standard of skateboarding. Their videos are always funny and are always willing to sacrafice skate time with funny pranks and juvinille antics. Foundation is a skate company that represents the true character of skateboarding and the way it always should be. And they make clothes for girls too.

Fri Jan 05 2001My first skateboard was a Foundation. They have funnier than sh*t designers and are relatively cheaper than other boards. Yet, Foundation boards right chip out at the tale or nose if you're not careful.
