    after considering what we could get for our money with adt, we were very pleasantly surprised to find these guys here in Memphis who could do the same for a big discount. adt tries to rip people off and could not get to a routine service call for our previous house for over two weeks. and they wanted to charge me $200 for just one sensor replaced when we got a new front door. sheesh. i wouldn't wish that on anyone so i just went with these guys and i think i'm saving about $300 bucks in monitoring and also on service.

    We have had systems installed with these guys and I have no complaints whatsoever. The staff was upfront about what they recommended and the installation went in flawlessly. Sounds like someone has a vendetta against the business owner or something - they are outstanding to deal with.

    I have been a loyal customer of Ft Knox Security for five years. This all changed last week when I actually had to deal with their office. The battery on my alarm went out and when I called them to find out how to change it was told I would have to pay them $125 for a servce call to switch it out. This is a routine maintenance item and $125 seemed steep to me, but they are entitled to charge what they want. However when I called back to cancel my service with them, I was told that I could not cancel until July even though my four year contract had been fulfilled over a year previously.I would probably have stayed with Ft. Knox for another five years but I have no intention of paying $125 for a battery replacement. I currently have an alarm company willing to get my alarm operational for a very minimal cost and a one year contract to stay with them. I would suggest to anyone looking for an alarm company to check out the BBB before dealing with Ft. Knox.

    I have sent letters by certified mail, and phoned. No effect. They keep charging. On the phone the lady keeps saying, yes, we have cancelled your contact, then another invoice arrives. This has been going on almost two years now. Keep away from Fort Knox and Turfco garden and lawn.

    We recently were customers of Fort Knox becuase the alarm pad in our home were from this company. This was a TERRIBLE MISTAKE on our part becuase we came home one day and our garage door entering our home was open and the alarm did not notify us. We were told we could cancel the service for a breech of contract and they did it. Well to our surprise 1 1/2 years later we get a bill for $400.00 stating our contract has to be paid per an audit that was completed on the account. I called so many times and begged to speak to a manager. Well they said that they would have one call us, but of course they never did. We are now calling daily and getting very rude representatives like Kaitlyn who says that a manager will tell me the same thing. They are so rude and a fraud. Please beware and go with a more reputable company who will give you peace of mind when you sleep at night or decide to go away from your home.     I have been with Fort Knox for 5 yrs. I called them to find out how to discontinue my account and was instructed to write a letter requesting cancellation the month of the expirtation of my account. I have called 6 times, been promised 6 return calls and have received none. This has been within a three month period. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances even if it mean doing without security service.

    BEWARE!!! This Guy is a con. Also owns/operates TURFCO PEST CONTROL. Check out the reviews on that site as well. Most recently were featured in the news for excessive Better Bus complaints!!! Sadly, I have been paying monthly on home montering system that I have recently discovered wasn't sending signals to any monitoring co. Have attempted weekly calls to get problem resolved. HEATHER, Service/sales/ whatever else you have an issue with, manager is EXTREMELEY RUDE and of NO HELP. When asking questions will hang up mid conversation. Hank Weaver OWNER can never be reached. Be aware of state laws in regards to alarm monitoring contracts, These people are crooks DO YOUR HOMEWORK before entrusting your safety to them. You will only get out of your contract retaining legal help. Fort Knox will tell you to write a letter stating you want to discontinue service based on THEIR breech of contract yet they will continue to draw $ from your acct.     I have sent them 3 letters to cancel my service; I called them multiple times, but they have failed to cancel the service and stop charging my CC. Check with better bus1ness bureau should you not believe this site for all the complaints filed against Fort Knox.

    Fort Knox security is awesome; those guys installed a security system in my new home through the builder and by the time I had moved in I had spoken with them probably five times and everything was working and it was perfect. They called me a few weeks before closing to advise me on the discounts of getting monitoring of my alarm system. No one had ever told me that my homeowner?s insurance company would give me a discount for having the system monitored. If you don't know about pushy security sales people you don't want to ever meet one. When you buy a new home you get scared to open your door because of them and they don't stop when they see the sign in the yard that has the other companies name on it either. The fact that they called before closing saved me 10% on my homeowner?s policy and I'm glad they called when they did and not after I closed.     My husband and I relocated to a different state in 2006. We went ahead and cancelled all our contracts for our house in Memphis and the only one we have been having issues with is Fort Knox Security and Turfco. As we read the reviews we though we had posted all of them since they reflect the same experience we have had with this company: phone calls never returned, account being audited, accounting department changing software... it also seems we can never get someone in upper management to get this issue resolved. One thing that we did that helped stop the wrongful billing was to contact the credit card company. We sent them all the documents showing the notice sent to Fort Knox/Turfco to suspend all services and they took care of the issue for us. It's just amazing that a company is doing this!!!     Fort Knox installed a new security system in my home when I bought it five years ago; at that time they had the best price that I could find and that's why I called them and I was very pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of their staff and the technicians that came to my home. I have since used them again to add some surround sound wiring and a wireless door contact and I honestly can't say enough great things about these folks. I have also referred this company to friends and they have always been very pleased. I have had additional features added two times and the service wasn't just good it was great.

    I had been a customer of this business for 5 years before I had a problem with them. Since September 2007 they have wrongfully billed my account. I have made repeated attempts (in excess of 50) to contact them to resolve these issues. IF you can ever even can get a human on the phone they just say "we're auditing your account" or "we'll look into it and someone will call you back" and they never once have called me back in over 6 months. I have attempted to cancel my account. I have filed complaints with several public entities. I have been unable to get any customer service. I have had wrong billing for 6 months. I have been unable to get my money back. The company is non responsive. If this is how they treat their customers, I'm worried that my house was never safe in their "security". DO NOT USE! BEWARE!

    We cancelled our service in June of 2007. However, they continued to charge our bank card every month through March 2008. We attempted NUMEROUS calls each month and every time they either said they are looking into it and that they would call us back the next day, or they would say that they will stop payment and repay us. NOBODY ever called us back and they did not stop charging us. We now call every day. And every day, all they say is "someone will have to call you back". And nobody ever calls back. This has gone on for 9 months, they owe us hundreds of dollars. This is terrible. Do not use their service.

    This organization has received 12 of my telephone requests that someone contact me. I have received twelve promises that someone would call me back. I am still waiting. Consequently, I stopped paying these people, and even that did not prompt a call. I am concerned that such a non-responsive organization is in charge of my security!.
