Thu May 28 2009Between the horrible graphics / pixelation of the graphics even with an outstanding PC by todays or yesteryears standards, this game isnt that great. First off - you can play this game forever and get literally no where. I've tried replaying this game multiple tmies and everytime I hit around level 40'ish this game gets frustrating... EVEN WITH HELP. If you were one of the original FF Online fanatics like myself that played ONLINE on PC, not xbox or Ps2 - then you may or may not udnerstand what I'm talking about. There is/was a HUGE language barrier. The japanese players would never invite anyone who couldn't speak japanese etc it was HORRIBLE. So by the time you hit 40, you decided you want to level other classes such as I was a Warrior. Well I decided to go lvl the paladin class and make paladin my main with warrior as the sub class. IT WAS SO BORINGGGGG. The same fucknig grind you just went through with warrior you now had to do with Paladin. GAY! And to boot I obtained all clas... Read more

Thu Jul 10 2008One of the most successful RPG franchises, and it deserves all the credits the fans have given to it. Solid game play, top of the line graphics, and most imprssively, the orchestral music that not many games can come close to. Japanese have put a lot of work into the design of the series, from the characters to the music, you will find almost nothing weak about the Final Fantasy series. The stories can sometimes fall into the typical save-the-world adventures, but no other RPG series thus far have made a break through in terms of storylines. I'd like to see the next few FF to be the first to create a plot that's astonishing and set a new mark for the later RPG games to catch up to.

Fri Jan 12 2007These creators are very talented and I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 2, I havent played FF:12 yet, but I got a beef with them. The men characters are two pretty. All of the peeps look white, there's no variety in the characters. At least in Kingdom Hearts 2, they finally had some peeps that looked asian.

Thu Mar 03 2005The first Final Fantasy I played was FF 7. And I'm in love with that game. It's like you are getting sucked into that world. It is amazing. The online version of it is allright, but not as good as the actual game.

Mon Aug 02 2004The FF series is one I've always found to be extremely polished. One can expect grandiose plots with religious, societal and romantic underpinnings as standard. To this end, the original FF7, I believe was one of the most influential games of all time. It demanded from then on that games be more of an epic engrossing experience then just a bleeping distraction for a few hours or so. There were many games like this beforehand but they were the exception rather then the rule. Usually I'll immensely enjoy any FF game, but to this day I still await another game which can inspire the same childlike giddiness in me that FF7 did and still does today

Wed Jul 21 2004If you look up RPG in the dictionary, don't be suprised if you find a picture of the ff7 case. Final Fantasy is responsible for turning RPGs from a cult genre to pop culture success. Finala Fantasy always has great plots. memorable characters, and creative adventures. Many games have tried to duplicate final fantasy, but it can't be done.

Mon Jul 12 2004Its overwhelming success speaks for itself: the Final Fantasy series is one of, if not the most, successful RPG series ever. Solid storylines and excellent graphics never fail to impress their fans. To illustrate its success, there are now orchestra concerts for the Music of Final Fantasy--playing the familiar and haunting melodies from the various Final Fantasy games, complete with full orchestra and choir. Bit of trivia: The reason it's called Final Fantasy is supposedly because it was the creator's last-ditch effort after a series of failed games. Good thing he didn't give up. UPDATE: PAPER MARIO?!?!?! How can anyone DARE compare art to that two-dimensional piece of filth! Paper Mario doesn't even qualify for a francise! I am truly disgusted.

Mon Jul 12 2004Although it is certaintly a franchise with astounding graphics, Final Fantasy certaintly falls flat. As an RPG, it cannot match up to the Paper Mario franchise. As a game franchise as a whole, it is just not as enjoyable as many other Nintendo, Sega, and other classic franchises.

Mon Jul 12 2004Final Fantasy games always have the best graphics. Nintendo made a huge mistake when they sold the rights to Sony. This franchise has spawned massive amounts of merchandise without the use of a stereotyped superhero (Mario).
