I enjoyed going on this tour even though it was freezing outside and our group was huge! The tour guide was funny and had a very welcoming attitude. He had interesting stories to tell and pointed out lots of things I normally wouldn't have noticed. It felt very "behind the scenes" and we got to see the field from $250 seats. It was crazy seeing how small the stadium was and hearing the story behind the green monster.

I enjoyed the tour here, and I don’t even like baseball. The tour guide told us funny stories about past and present baseball players that entertained even the most anti-baseball fanatics. Here's the link for the tour: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/ballpark/tour.jsp

So trendy, so chic, so urbane/sophisticated a sports experience it's awfully tempting to rate this one lower. . .to claim it's really just a secret-handshake club and a tourist trap (and parts of Baw-stin are) but- It's a beautiful ballpark. The fans are neurotic but knowledgeable about the game. Fenway is a time-warp and I couldn't help taking the whole place in. . .you're a pure tourist but in this place it doesn't seem to matter. The bar scene nearby is terrific. . . Anyone who rates this lower than a 5 is doing it out of pure spite. . .

This is THEEEEE Ballpark to visit in the United States. Everything about this place is historic! I remember sitting in the outfield stands as a teen, watching Aaron Sele's major league debut like it was just yesterday (he's now been out of the leagues for about 2 years, after a 14 year career!). Hopefully you will get to see someone hit a homerun over the green monster! Take the T, parking is impossible.

This is my favorite baseball park! It also represents a great baseball team!!!! Its so intimate, the energy is amazing, and I love singing "sweet caroline" during 7th inning! :) They only serve two kinds of beer.....simplicity is sometimes best :) There are also a ton of bars in the neighborhood to pre-game or post-game at, always rowdy!

Ballpark is great, but the Massholes that make up the biggest fall from Alcoholics Anonymous are about the most vile bunch I've ever seen. All that's missing is 30 dunkin donuts inside to insure those pickled morons stuff their faces on their way back to Revere and South Boston .

As a Sox fan I should love it. But I don't. It's old, rickety and there's a whole lot of bad seats. I tend to get stuck behind a pole of some sort, or at the very least sit in an uncomfortable seat (because all the seats are uncomfortable at Fenway). True, it has a unique, old baseball sort of feel that is missing in 99% of the ballparks out there (Wrigley being it's only equal in terms of vintage-ness) - but that's about it in terms of desirability. My vote is to build a new ballpark, keeping only the Green Monster and Citgo sign in the backdrop.

GO S...AAAA...XXXXXXXXXX. Great stadium teeming with history. Hopefully a title will be won there before too long.

The seats are too small, the beers are too small, the prices are too high. That being said, you have not lived until you watch a game at Fenway Park.

I feel more at home at Fenway than I do in my house and more at peace than in any church.

As a bostonian, i feel privelaged to have been able to go to friendly fenway lots of times. Ther's nothing like it. Even regular season games have an energy and intensity unmatched by other stadiums even in the world series! everything tastes better at fenway. The dogs, the beer, the ice cream bars. If you never get to go to fenway before it gets torn down or whatnot, you were cheated out of the experience of a lifetime.

This is a great place to watch a game. There's a lot of baseball history there and you can just feel it as you walk around. The downside to a small park like this, obviously, is the ticket price.

Classic old ballpark kept reasonably up-to-date. Sure would miss it. Typical ballpark food/prices. Try the new (2003) seats on top of the left field wall a/k/a the Green Monster but call early to get them.

The best ballpark in the world! The sox are such a kickass team, and the big green monster scares me every time. Make sure you don't get a seat with an "obstructed view". Make sure you eat a fenway frank too, you haven't lived until you've gobbled down that tube of mystery meat.

Baseball! The way it was meant to be. Not all this crap with millionaires complaining about how they have to go on strike. This is baseball the way it was meant to be. You don't go to Fenway for sideshows, you go to Fenway for the national pastime. The place has character -- the Green Monster, the bullpen jutting out into rightcenterfield, even the obstructed view seats, the bleachers, the asymmetric field. And, even though I hate the Red Sox, their fans are amazing. The team wins a World Series about once very 100 years or so, and the fans are still loyal, and you know it from the moment you step into the storied park. Seeing a game in Fenway could even make a baseball fan out of someone who hates the game.

The mecca of baseball. I don't care if I ever see Yankee Stadium, this is where baseball lives, from the sausage and beer smell to the green monster to the raucous fans. A must-see, whether you live in Boston or Tokyo.

My favorite of the old ballparks. I like it better than Wrigley because Fenway has never really been remodeled (concourses, bathrooms, etc.). It's an authentic relic. Of course, it's that very thing that has doomed it to the wrecking ball. Then Chicago will have the best ballpark forever.
