This truly was the BEST thing on primetime TV. I hope it is not cancelled for good...

The animation was a little to weekend morning. I am not sure why Seigfried & Roy are even in it. It might be better if they were refered to a lot but rarely seen. The story was sketchy flowed alot like Family Guy which I find annoying. A little bit more adult then I thought it will be but I will give it a chance.

This is really the best animated show for adults ever done. Having aired 11 episodes, though, you can't really create a fandom, and less if you constantly change the air times. Sure, some people will hate it and will flame it, but hey, those see it too! And in the long run they will love it. Episode 11 was really great, full of good humor. Maybe it takes a little while to get used to the style and the mood of the series, but after seeing 3 or 4 of them, you can't get enough of it anymore!

Father of the Pride just plain sucked! I am a gen Y and in the target audience, & I still don't get it. The premise and subject would have made for an ok 90 video only release, but, not an ongoing series. I can't fathom the expense and time required in producing the CG graphic animation with such a lame story line. Plus, the over the top raunchy content did not make this a suitable program for primetime network TV. Do you want innovative lewdness in animation? watch Drawn Together if you can stomach it, even as bad as that show is, it eclipses FOTP in biting social commentary.

I really hope NBC doesn't cancel Fotp for good. It's one of my favorite shows of all time! Hopefully enough people (including myself) will contact the network and convince them to reconsider!

Father of the Pride may not be the best comedy, but the combination of computer graphics and hilarious portrayals of certain characters makes this show watching. I also hope NBC doesn't permanently cut it.

I truly agree with NBCisanidiot on this. I put this rating for the show itself as it is hilarious on how the animals are making new puns and great humor every week. Yes fans, this is a grave situation that this show will be cancelled. I found a site that will help GE-owned NBC to change their mind on chopping down this show. Now, I will admit, if this show goes off the air, there will not be anything interesting on NBC. Go to: http://www.tvtome.com/FatherofthePride/ and see the news. Click on the link that is in the Nov. 15 show news to file your petition. Long live Sigfried & Roy and their funny animals!

I LOVE the show, but since its being CANCELED by nbc, i dont know how much of that channel im going to be watching anymore. Screw the corperate people at that place or whoever makes a show with great ratings like that canceled. No show dates in november? being bumped back to see some fat asses try and loose weight? I dont think ill be watching anything else on nbc until this show is aired again.

This show is adult humor. If you did not know that, then only be frustrated with yourself. I knew that it was adult humor from nothing more than the previews, how could you have to shove the kids away after 10 minutes if you should have known that it was innapropriate in the first place. Ignorance is only an excuse for making a mistake, not a reason. Mabe we should start saying our age as it plays an important role? I am 18, male. Most people watching this show are probably just like me...

One of the most ill-conceived ideas since the Edsel, the Vietnam War, New Coke, and the TV coverage of the 2000 Olympics. What were they thinking? Roy Horn was mauled by one of the so-called characters of the show. It would be like airing a remake of the Art Linkletter show with Michael Jackson. Read the newspaper for criminy's sake. Then there is the little problem of using kid-friendly animation with language and themes that are just plain raunchy. We had to shove the kids away after 10 minutes of that. Finally, as good as Shreck was, this is just plain not funny.

Great show, well worth keeping, the people giving it one star are those who's youth went down the drain long ago... This show isnt for old conservative people, it was made for a younger and more youthful crowd.

What complete and utter garbage. Not funny and no more cutting edge than what is written on a bathroom stall. Southpark it ain't. Simpson's it ain't. It has all the maturity of Benny Hill, but without the sophistication.

I thought Coupling was the worst show I would ever see on television. I was wrong. That title now belongs to Father of the Pride. It is one thing to try and not succeed in entertaining, but it's a totally other plain to insult and offend with EVERY SINGLE LINE OF DIALOGUE. This show needs to die a quick and painful death.

If you have a problem with it, dont watch it. All my friends and I watched it tuesday and found it very funny and a great idea. If you dont like it, you are most likely a conservative old person. Oppionion not needed you arent even in the expected age group for the show. If for some readon, you dont fit that description, then you are indeed a rare exception.

This show isnt appropriate for kids which is obvioustly established already, if it had not used that shreck ad in the advertisement i would have given this a 5. It is a great show and if it helps, im 39 and i enjoyed it and do not think it appropriate for my kids. If YOU do not like the show please support your reasons. Dont be so vague like some other posters here.

If a 4.5 existed that would be what I give it, but there is only 5 or 4 and this cartoon is awesome unless you are not the target audience like jim and bill said, then that may be why you dislike it. Personally I think this show is here to stay, its very good indeed. Good and kid friendly are not synonyms, dont give it bad rating because you dont think kids should see it. It IS rated tv 14 for a reason...
