Wonderful Restaurant with great service! The place is a family owned business, so everyone is very friendly there. We dined in last week for fathers day and couldnt have made a better choice. My wife wanted to try something new and ordered off the Vietnamese menu. Our server recommended trying the Pork chop with rice dish, and i ordered there sweet and sour shrimp. The pork chops were very tasty and the carrot sauce that came with it topped it off. Never had pork chops as good as these before. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy on the outside and the shrimp was warm and soft on the inside. You could definitely tell it was fresh. Everything was great. This would have to be my top current top choice! Try it out for yourself!

We arrived within 10 min of ordering our food that we were told would take 20 min to a half hour. We rushed home with it expecting great chinese food. What we got was two stale fortune cookies, the one we didn't eat had black stuff in it. The sweet and sour chicken was hardly sweet with two pieces of pineapple and lots of hard chunks of green pepper. THe sesame chicken which is supposed tohave a bit of a kick was just soggy and plain with sesame seeds dumped on top, awful. THe fried rice had a burn smell to it. What a major disappointment this night turned out to be. I called the manager, a man, and prior to hanging up on me he told me "I'm sorry but we sell alot here , that is just the way we cook it"

I went to get something to eat at on a Sunday afternoon I stopped at Far East, because I heard they had really good food. But when we arrived and were seated the waitress didn't even look in our direction. We waited about 15 minutes to get something to drink and another 15 minutes to have someone else take our order. Keep in mind this is not a very big restaurant. So we sat there for a good 20 minutes after our order was taken, I walked up by the counter where they had to food and our appetizer just sat there. We ask if it was ready the guy snapped at us and said ?It?s on its way" in a very rude tone. That alone was getting me worked up. So we were like ok...and waited again. Now it has almost been an hour with our food sitting at the counter in the back. I have never gotten so upset with a place and walked out. I feel bad that the food had to go to waste but with that kind of service what did they expect. Even a little smile or acknowledging us would have made me stay. I have worked a... Read more

Yes, they do have a sort of regular chinese buttet(buffet food is what it is...); however their menu is where it is at, especially if you turn to the dishes you've never heard of; these are the gems of the restaraunte; never failing to amaze me. The beef noodle soup(pha) is so good, they take such pride in every element of this soup, although if it is your first to this dish ask the someone there how to eat it; as you select what veggies and whether you like it spicy, or sweet. And my favorite is the rice noodle dish(bun) (pork and Vietnamese egg rolls is my favorite variation); this meal is a work of art and is my favorite meal I've ever had; ask for the red hot suace with the seeds in it and it comes in a side dish. There are way to many other dishes on the chinese menu that I love too; and the smoothies are great (besides the normal fruit smoothies they also have durian, and lychee). Every person in my family loves this place and try to make it there when we can get together; and al... Read more

Ok, It was Christmas Eve, and to be fair...25 minutes before closing at 5 P.M...and it was simply 2 carryout meals... A sweet and sour chicken....and a garlic chicken. I was ordering blind (I didn't have a menu since I was driving in from Detroit...and I was trying the restaurant after reading the 2 5star reviews on this site.). I arrived at 4;45 the food was waiting..and the restaurant was completely empty (so no late diners....maybe they were in church..or in line at Best Buy). The SS chicken was crunchy which wasn't horrible and kinda dried out.(which was)..which maybe I should forgive since I'm sure everyone wanted to bolt out of there to join their families for the evening. So what was left off the buffet may have been my carryout...if it was prepped fresh?...someone needs to relearn the basics of chicken makin..or not take the carry out order so close to closing and shut down the kitchen just shy of enough time to ruin your reputation.. i.e...."Oh, I'm sorry we're not ta... Very satisfying food, and friendly service. I heard about Far East by some friends and decided to give it a shot. I expected the food to be similar to other chinese food that i have had and it was better than anything i've ever had! The gentleman that served me was very polite and helpful with ordering. Great environment, food, and service!!

I was looking for a chinese resturaunt, and the nearest one i found was Far East. It happen to be the best chinese resturaunt on earth also! The server suggested a vietnamese dish and i also tried some of their egg rolls. They were GREAT! Also to top all the delicous food off, the environment was really clean and relaxing. A++++
