Wed Jun 03 2009The site has many bells and whistles, but when it comes to maintaining the *members* of the site, I give ff.net an F-. There is rampant plagiarism that is never dealt with (from published novels, even!), the members get away with posting pornographic, slanderous language on their profiles about other members (case in point, this particular member: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1310044/#) where anyone can read it, despite their supposedly no-porn policy (I guess that doesn't include the public profiles). Worse, no matter how often people like this are reported, the administrators, who are responsible for keeping the site user-friendly (especially the *underage* users) refuse to do anything about it. Frankly, it's disgusting. There are better fanfiction archives out there, such as mediaminer.org, where the admins actually know how to do their jobs and keep riffraff like that off their site.

Sat Sep 06 2008I have written a few novels on that very sight, but you will find me easier in the "Movie" Section, under the "Lion King" section. I have the same name, Scuta 5. I am now writing stories on the site, I am happy now. .

Sun Aug 22 2004The best place to go on the internet if you are bored. I go there when I am even not bored. I'm addicted to this website.

Sat Apr 17 2004Freebird got it right. The content contained is diverse and the subject matter does not always determine the writing talent of the fanfiction author. It is not at all uncommon for someone to write a beautifully constructed online novel about the wonderful romance that Mr. T and Dirk Bennedict never shared. Take a gander sometime and see how your favorite TV shows have been done justice/bastardized and I guarantee you'll be entertained or at least bemused.

Tue Apr 13 2004For a diehard fan of just about any movie/tv show/book, this is a fantastic site. The amount of fiction published on thsi site is remarkable. I myself have posted stories here. As with any public site, the content varies. Sometimes you'll find the drabble of a 13 year old and others you'll find a story so well-written you think it's professional. A site terrific for both fans who like to read and fans who like to write.
