Tue Aug 23 2011This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. My pet died. I beleive it was because they spent too much time trying to make sure they got paid instead of treating my pet for an emergency. I beleive that they did not treat our beloved pet until the next morning. We were told he was OK, but died an hour later.Since we had only agreed to pay for an overnight so the pet could be stablized, we wondered if they just let him die since they thought there might be no further treatment. You are not allowed to be with your pet during "treatment". They stick your sick pet with lots of varying other types of sick pets. Treatment hours after we came, time spent filling out paperwork to make sure they got paid, stress to the pet on an already stressful situation is what we beleived killed our pet. When I was finally allowed to say goodbye to my pet, some of the employees were making fun of me. It turned out that that was the last time I saw my pet alive. Never, never again. If I had not b... Fri May 06 2011EXPENSIVE AND HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE! We've been going for 7 years because they're so close to us location wise. They charge $50 fee on top of everything they do "for a doctor being present." I was just in and out in under three minutes--could have almost held my breath the amount of time I was in" and they charged me $50 for a full annual exam. I told them the visit was probably around 90 seconds, I just needed my dog to get one of the shots she was missing and the whole thing took a few seconds and they charged me $50 on top of the shots. There were three other people arguing about their bills and i had to get in line to see a beast of a woman who didn't care about anything except taking as much money as she could. I tried to explain I've been going here 7 years and she said so go somewhere else. Last time I was in the vet, Atkins, told me not to board my dog at their facility because of cruelty. THAT'S COMING FROM ONE OF THE VETS AT FALLS ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL. This place shoul... Read more

Sat Jan 22 2011My cat had a swollen lip and I took him to Eastern Animal hospital. I left with a $145 Bill from numerous test and medicines they said he needed. 2 months later same issue appeared but i decided to take him to Falls Road Animal Hospital. They gave him one shot and he was done. They didn't try to make me get additional test or meds. I am so pleased with their quality of care. THEY are in it for our pets not the extra money! I will transfer all my pets here cause this is who can be trusted!

Thu Nov 18 20101 stars I was referred to falls rd animal hospital to have my 5 month old dog fixed. Never again the front desk girls were so unorganized and listen to very little to what I wanted to leave for my dog such as her PAIN medicine. I was told she didn't need it. Then they turned around And called me to ask,"what's her pain medicine you have and what's the mg??" WTF!!! Then I was called by the surgical tech heather, "saying they didn't give her any pain medication cause I didn't leave it!!! Once again at 5;30 I offered to bring it up there so she wouldn't suffer. I was told i'n a very cold expression,"she don't need it", we will give it to her only if she really needs it!!! Umh I think after we all get out of surgery we all need pain medicine, right??? Is this a money thing or what??? I called at 7am the next morning once again offering to bring her medicine I was told they finally gave her an injection of it!!! And must I add they said for free! I will be talking to the director asap!! A... Read more

Sat Oct 16 2010I made the mistake of taking my dog elsewhere to be spayed. She was sent home that same evening with no pain medication. I was told she probably would not need it. Later that evening she kept whining, and couldn’t get comfortable, I guessed she was in pain. Frantic I called the place where she was spayed, they were closed with no number for emergency contact to them. Luckily my friend gave me the number to Falls Road. I called them and was given some at home advice with the recommendation to bring her in if condition worsened or remained the same. I ended up at the hospital a few hours later. The staff was great, going over at home care, medications, and warning signs to look out for. They gave me the option of keeping her overnight, and although it was more than I had hoped to pay, I wanted the reassurance that she would be monitored by knowledgeable staff round the clock. All in all, where I thought I was saving money I didn’t, I found out that her spay would have been cheaper goin... Read more

Wed Sep 16 2009I just had to write and tell you about my recent experience at your hospital. My champion, 4lb chihuahua presented with a dystocea late Wednesday night. As a part time veterinarian, the hospitals where I practice were either too far to reach in a timely manner or not staffed for emergency surgery after hours. Fortunately, your facility provides this much needed , emergency service and I can't tell you how pleased and thankful I was with the care my bitch received from your staff. From the minute we walked through the door, we were given the utmost attention. The professionalism, expertise and above all the caring attitude of all involved that night is a credit to you and Falls Rd. If you could personally extend my gratitude to Dr. Rachel Beard, Amy, Shannon, Jen, Cindy and Lea for a job well done, and in my opinion, above and beyond that which I have experienced in my over 25 years as a veterinarian. Mark, myself, "MeMe" and her two thriving puppies thank you! Sincerely, Dru Oliv... Read more

Mon May 11 2009I have to say that Falls Road Animal Hospital has been wonderful with each experience I have had there. I would never take my pets any where but there. A couple of nights ago I had to take my puppy there to be treated to a mild allergic reaction. All of the staff was very attentive, courteous, friendly and made sure that my pet and I were both comfortable and treated with great hospitality. The ER veterinarian was wonderful! There were several other emergencies being seen at the time, more serious than my pet's, when I was there, yet my puppy was tended to as soon as we were checked in, and she was taken back to be treated as soon as it was possible, and I was kept updated on her status by the techs. I am thankful for Falls Road and the the staff there. Hats off to a wonderful place.

Wed May 06 2009Very Grateful: I had to take my animal to the vets during the middle of the night. The people were so kind and helpful to me. Everyone showed compassion and a genuine concern for my pet and I. I can't thank them enough for saving my pets life. I will be eternally grateful to each and everyone who was there.

Tue Feb 08 2005Very professional, yet courteous and understanding of my relationship with my cat. I was informed at every step of the care and treatment and, when appropriate, was allowed to enter the treatment area to see him. You will not go wrong in trusting your pet in their care of the vets and their staff.
