If I could leave no stars I would. We lost pretty well all of our information in the May 2005 crash on our board and as a result most of the members who lost patience as we waited for Ezboard to sort it all out and many went to rival boards. This hasn't been an unusal story from my experience and having looked at the new product that Ezboard have been promising (yuku or something?) I can honestly say that they are taking steps backwards not forwards. Ezboard used to be great but today they are outdated and running up against some superb competition. We now use VBulletin and while it cost to buy the software and we pay for hosting it still costs us less than Ezboard ever did! We also have a board we can monitor and sort out problems with! Ezboard are pathetic and customer service is appalling. In fact, going back to my original comment I wouldn't put no stars I would put NEGATIVE STARS!

Ezboard needs new management, direction, and a real customer service staff. Period.

Absolutely shambolic also-ran of a company, operated by a dozen or so people - hard to keep track of who's left or leaving wih an existing product (ezboard) that's so full of bugs they've acknoweldged the can't fix it. They've re-launched under the name Yuku in September but that product still isn't out of beta so there's nothing else in place. Their customer services is so utterly diabolical it has to be seen to be believed unless you're a suck-up in which case it's all a smoochy love-fest.

ezboard has had some problems lately, and seems to be sort of on hold until a new upgrade comes out. But personally, I've never been troubled by bugs, very rare to be down or slow, and any time i've asked for help in their support system I've got it quickly and accurately. I really enjoy ezboard, I post on half a dozen, and run a couple myself. It's just good fun. It's also pretty easy to set up and run, compared with some that you install yourself. Great for the internet challenged like me!!

Brainchild of Vanchau (who left a few years ago) since late 90's but now more than clumsy and incapable of getting back into the game. Big exodus of boards over the last year. Avoid!

Ezboard are currently a shambles. I used them for many years and began to lose confidence in late 2004. Then when they were hacked in May 2005 I lost all confidence and finally left all the boards I would visit and closed the one I ran and moved it across to Invisionfree. I also stopped my supporter. I might not have had quite the custom features on how the board looked, but I have all the features that the Ezboard gold board gave us (having had to pay for these features) but for free. The adverts are nice and discreet and can be blended into the board colour scheme. Board users all say the new board is a lot nicer and easier to use and it doesnt slow up and crash like the old board did almost daily, or at the least weekly. I can't recommend Ezboard now to anyone. I used to all the time but servers are slow so very often, bugs are not being fixed and cause hassle for admin and users. Conflicting reports come from Ezboard over so many issues you don't know what to believe anymore. Sinc... Read more

Ezboard is full of bugs, half their servers don't work, their forum software is old and out of date, their mods are often unhelpful, and they lie about their backup system, which is a service that people are paying for. Currently the whole site is in shambles after a hacker wiped most of the boards. Due to ezboard's lack of proper backups, very little was restored, and people are still having problems.

A world of millions of different forums for whatever you're interested in and if by chance there isn't one that catches your fancy, you can create your own. Free, enjoyable and incredibly diverse, its one of the best message board sites around.

For the uninitiated, EzBoard is a free online message board. EzBoard has lots of individual forums with different subjects (eg politics, sports, etc) and themes from which to choose, so there are plenty of options for everyone. Moreover, if one cannot find the type of forum they want, he or she can merely create their own. The boards have a relatively good format, which can automatically flag threads that have received no new messages since your last visit (ie they won't be listed when you return). One can format messages with italics, bold, etc., and one can also easily add active links, emoticons, and pictures to messages. Each board has a dedicated chat room as well. Finally, each registered member can create a rather detailed profile. The bottom line is that EzBoard is one of the more popular, diverse and flexible message board sites on the Internet.

EZBoard is ok, but the pages load awfully slow even on a cable modem.

I think EZboard is a great, however, they bombard you with buying their stuff on every page.

You can find a message board community on almost any subject there. You can start your own if you want.
