Sun Nov 22 2009I first went to Eye pieces a few years ago because they were, at the time, the only place I could find a certain brand of frames. Let me tell you I should have walked out when I saw how insincere the doctor and sales reps were. Think of a bunch of 'Yes men' agreeing with any and everything you say, and trying to sell you anything they can no matter how horrible the frames might look on you. Once I decided on the frames I wanted, it took them FOUR MONTHS to get them right! If I pay for $1000 dollars glasses, they had better be PERFECT! First time I got them, there were scratches on the frame and the screws were mis-matched. The second time I got them, the lenses were scratched, and the third time the lenses were scratched, and the fourth time the power was wrong. Any each time I asked them to fix the problem, they made it seem like I was inconveniencing them! On top of all this, they did not honor my insurance discount, even though their site says that they accepted it. The feeling... Read more

Sun Nov 22 2009I won' t go back here because I was overcharged for glasses. I was advised that the model selected was "designer" so the coverage amount from insurance would be less. I paid and left with a funny feeling, so when I called my insurance they told me to go right back there and demand a refund for what i was over-charged. They also were going to document this internally and would CC Eye Pieces. Great location is what brought me there, like others I assume. Please keep this in mind even if you like going here - no one wants to get ripped off.

Thu Jul 23 2009I've worn glasses most of my life and am fairly picky about what I wear - Eye Pieces has the ones you want to wear! Their staff is knowledgeable about unique prescriptions and the processes necessary to ensure the right look, from no-line bifocals and non-glare lenses, to progressives so I don't have to take them off in the pool! My insurance is accepted there, and I will continue to use them for my glasses! Thanks Eye Pieces!

Thu Jul 23 2009A friendly and professional staff that made for a pleasurable experience. I may not see 20/20, but I can see that this is the place to be for all your eye care needs.

Sun Mar 15 2009Dr. Birenbaum's staff was very helpful with helping me pick out sunglasses on two different occasions. I can't live without my Prada and Oakley sunglasses. They made sure that each pair fit correctly and help form them before I walked out. Great Value and excellent team of sales representatives.

Fri Feb 20 2009I've never been treated more rudely in a business transaction that I was by Dr. Birenbaum at Eye Pieces. I had an issue with their no exchange or return policy that is not told to you or posted publicly before you make a purchase. His staff was polite but this man was OFF the CHARTS hostile, rude and difficult. While I did get finally get my money back (because I would not let down and called him daily), I will make it my mission to personally give him and his business negative reviews. I feel sorry for the nice girls that have to work for this arrogant man. Cool looking glasses - crappy customer service. Avoid this place!

Sat Nov 15 2008I had a really bad experience at this store. I bought some new glasses from this place that kept falling apart and they refused to repair or fix them. To make matters worse I paid a small fortune for them and they refused to give me a refund when I complained. The staff was rude. The selection of glasses was awful. I will not go back and in fact I already found a new place I love better.
