The same P90X product is more than $100 cheaper on the "official" beachbody website. This is the first time I've seen such a glaring price disparity on an Amazon product.

i consider myself fitter than most and needed a program that wasn't your run of the mill exercise videos. i definitely got what i paid for and more. i felt like i was actually burning calories and got quite strong. the routines are varied enough so that i didn't get bored. if you like doing pushups, pullups, and basic exercises that will kick your butt this is the workout for you.

I have done this program and find it to be very advanced, but in general, this is not as difficult as the majority of Cathe Friedrich's videos. Of course, Cathe is a tough act to follow! P90X is NOT the workout for a person at even a medium intensity level of fitness. You must bet VERY fit to do this workout and even then you will likely struggle with some of the moves. I know that I did. My favorite of the series is the "Core Synergistics", followed by "Yoga X" and "Ab Ripper X". I use the Cardio X, Kenpo X and Plyometrics on easy workout days. They are fun to do and basic. There is no complicated choreography, but Kenpo X must be done with precision to be truly effective. I thought Yoga X would be easy -- WRONG! Tony brings it on in that video. He is in fantastic shape and has tremendous flexibility and his cast is remarkable. Pros: Tony is a great coach and a lot of fun. I love his cast - they are such an inspiration. and they really work out hard and pu... Read more

I love this product, and look forward to starting this goal that I have set, it does look very advanced, which I am not yet, but I certainly look forward to the challenge!

Just throwing my two cents into the ring. I used to lift weights in my early 20s and then fell off the wagon. Stayed relatively thin and kept some semblance of fitness in a labor intensive job but wasn't in shape. My wife is a personal trainer and exercise videos and infomercials abound in our home, all promising the same things. I just never got it. However, I had begun a small workout routine using body weight exercises (didn't want to have to hit the gym again) of push-ups, pull-ups and an ab routine for several weeks and then I saw the infomercial for this. I was captivated. So we got it. It will radically transform you if you "bring it" as they repeat frequently. It's a 90 day program, about an hour a day (an hour and a half for the yoga), six days a week. It is time consuming and requires a commitment. But if you do this for those 90 days, even just one cycle, you will transform not only your body but your overall level of fitness and your mental state will be grea... Read more
