Had an Express Flooring sales rep to my home to give me a quote last night. It was an unbeliveably terrible experience and I would NEVER, EV...

Regarding re packaging of materials. It is my undestanding that express buys the cheapest material they can get there hands on and repackages it into there own boxes. They then go as far as to tell the customer that there material comes with some over inflated and rediculous warranty. I've heard as high as 60 years!!! People if they want to warranty this material for those periods of time then thats great but you should ask for a copy of everything in writing. Don't be stupid consumers. They offer 60% off. 60% off of what. If 1200 feet of laminate costs you 10950.00. Then that means before your 60% discount you were at 17,520.00. SEVENTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR LAMINATE!!! Even TEN THOUSAND!!! 10,900 devided 1200 feet equalls 9 dollars a foot. for 9 a foot you can do a lot better then some cheap 39cent chinese garbage. Come on wake the hell up. Express Flooring Just a few words to let you know how pleased we are with the new flooring project you did for us. Your Design Consultant could not have been more helpful explaining annd showing the products available. He made it easy for us to make a choice on what we wanted done. Your installers were here when promised and did an excellent job. Being in construction all my life, I know good workmanship when I see it. My own employees have accused me of being too particular, however if I can see something that could have been done better, it should have been done better. The areas being floored were very chopped up, naot a very good place for an inexperienced installer to want to work on. Jerry, This letter is to let you know about an employee that went above and beyond what was required of them. On May 13, 2006 I got my appointments and saw that one of them said please pick up some samples at the office. At first I thought the customer had come in and selected them. But I was wrong. I got to my 3:00 appointment and started to bring in the 7 or 8 different porcelain designer boards, that to me the customer picked out. then I asked the customer when did they pick it out? The customer informed me that she had only called in a talked to our customer service representative, and that they talked to them for over 30 minutes. Good afternoon, I had some laminate flooring installed today and I wanted to commend the two gentlemen who did the work. Mike and John. They were excellent workers. Fast, yet careful. They arrived around 8:30am and were done by 2:00pm. They answered all my questions with good nature. They informed me of different ways to care for the flooring. They kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up in all areas when they were finished. My favorite thing was their attitude, they seemed to enjoy what they were doing. They were very friendly. I see a lot of hype about people complaining about express flooring, but i don't think their so bad. Most of the complaints left on several ...

She quoted our price at $9000. When asked what that came down to per square foot, she said she didn't know. What??? No discussions of carpet brands, laminate brands i.e, why the price was so high. Was this a really high quality product? What kinds of carpet pads are available? Nothing. They come in with a few samples and you pick your favorite colors. I suppose this would be great for someone with a lot of money and absolutely no common sense. I ended up buying the laminate at Costco, putting it in myself (it's not hard) and having Home Depot do the carpet. It ended up costing me less than half of Express' quote. The salesgirl even asked what it would take for me to buy today. What is this, a used car lot?

I received 5 different estimates to do my entire downstairs with laminate flooring for less then $3000. Then comes Express Flooring and they quoted me $10,000??? Are you crazy?? They wouldn't tell me a definite price for installation even after I told them all five other companies were 99 cents a square foot. I would stay away...far far away from them. And expect a whole spiel to get you on board..I think buying a new car is easier then using Express Flooring!!

Bait and switch, as simple as this. The product , warranty and price is not what they quote when they come to your house. They charged my credit card in full days before the install and this took months to fix. Do yourself a favor and shop Lowes, HomeDepot, or any other place besides Express Flooring or you will be sorry.

I had a design consultant come out last week to show me some laminate flooring samples. The guy was very knowledgeable about the product that he showed me and with answering all my questions, I felt at ease, and signed the deal. I had 1400 feet installed and the whole thing, from start to finish was completed in 4 days. If you ever had a need for flooring this company is the way to go!

I had carpet installers show up to my house who barely spoke a lick of english. It is my belief that they were not even legal.It is also my belief that they sub out all there work. They don't care what joker they send over to do the work. Thats why the lost there B etter biusiness b1ureau status and have so many complaints with the ROC. But that takes second seat to the fact that Express over charged me by thousands on my carpet and didn't even deliver the carpet that I had picked out. The only thing that got them even remotely interested in making it right is when i went to the ROC. After I post this I'm sure A few good reviews will follow. the Happy ex employee didnt even begin to scratch tthe surface. this comapny has an actual plan in place that consists of doing everythig they can to rip off the customer. If a person want s to cancel there contract and get there money back, the plan is to pass the customer from rep. to rep. hopping that either 48 hours will pass and they can keep a restocking fee form the deposit, or one of the reps will be able to smooth talk the customer back. they have no consideration for small jobs, and the only reason they have a high rating on this website is because employees of Express are assigned to boost the ratings and write false positive reviews. They are conartisits. Be sure to check there rep with the better business b. and on websites like this citysearch. you will be able to tell which ones are written form actual customers and which are from Express employees. Do some research before choosing this company.

Ah, the disgruntled ex employee rant. Well, we had Express Flooring put in travertine at my home and it turned out great. I didn't notice they got kicked out of the better bureau, but whatever, they did a good job for me. And they do have a business license to operate in Arizona, I did check that out. So, I guess the ex-employee is just a liar.

I dig the tile they put in my house in Tempe last month. The salesmen showed up to my house on time, was knowledgeable and courteous. The installers came a little later in the day than I expected, but they got the job done faster than I expected. And now I can invite friends over to my house without being embarassed about the bathroom floor.

The salesmen could not have been more helpful explaining and showing the products. The installers were here when promised and did a wonderful job. I've worked in construction for 35 years and I know good work when I see it. I certainly got my money's worth.

J&Z were professional, courteous and prompt. Larry was helpful and informative. The phone reps were awesome. They even vacuumed the floor. I'd recommend them.

I have to say that I am so completely satisfied with not only the product I purchased, but mostly the absolute competence shown by Steve on the installation of my floor. He was extremely particular and an absolute joy to have working in my home. He was far and away one of the hardest working man I have ever experienced in my life. Express Flooring should be very proud and grateful to have him in their employ. Competent help in this day and age is very rare.

We would like to thank you for having installers that were very professional. On the instructions were to place vinyl over vinyl. Well, the installers realized that the old vinyl would not be a good thing to have the new vinyl over-laid. So with our permission, they removed the old vinyl and prepared the floor. They said the old vinyl was no glued very well and they wanted to make sure the new vinyl was installed the right way. You can be proud that you have installers that care for the customer.

My husband and I would like to place on record how delighted we both are with the re-carpeting of our verandah and the steps. Our thanks to your staff who were most efficient and co-operative and the final outcome is nothing but all that we could have wished for. We shall not hesitate, therefore, to recommend you to any neighbors who also require a similar job. Express Flooring installed vinyl in my kitchen and bathrooms last year, and I don't have any complaints. Got all the work done on time and we got a cruise out of the deal.

Best installers ever. These dudes got a tile job done in one day at my home in Phoenix. Didn't miss a beat and they even came back the next day to make sure it was all liad down right since there was a question of the grout drying in time. Got it all done in time for me to put the house on the market.

These guys know what they're doing. I had them do a huge job at my home in Scottsdale. Tile, carpet and laminate. Took them three days, but that's because they had to wait stuff to dry. The price was right, the service was great and the one problem I had was handled by a professional who did me the courtesy of knocking a hundred bucks off the job. I'd strongly recommend them.

Everyone I dealt with at Express Flooring was kind, intelligent and understanding. I did have some problems with my carpet installation (the carpet didn't come in when they said it would), nonetheless, when the job was completed it was superb. Even when I was getting frustrated with them, their customer service staff understood me and worked as quickly as possible to resolve the problem. I'm very pleased with them and have recommended them to friends and family.

Come on now - 15 five star reviews written on June 25th!!! Do you really think they're for real? Check the reviews prior to June 25th for the real true reviews. Express Flooring likes to write their own positive reviews to over shadow the negetive ones. Before doing business with these people check with the Better Business and Registrar of Contractors.

I too hastily entered into a contract with this firm on Jan. 18, 2007. The next day I regretted my haste and legally broke the contract with a phone call and a certified letter mailed to Express Home Flooring in Phoenix. That was almost 40 days ago. As yet, I cannot get my $3294+ returned. Each time I call I get excuses and the run-around. I have filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General office and also am filing one with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. If you look up the ROC's website, you will see that many, many complaints have been filed against this company. Buyer Beware!

Luckly I cancelled my contract in time. It took 3 emails to get them to respond to me. Then they came to my home. They overpriced by $600.00 over 3 other estimated I received. When I cancelled contract they did not care. I have since only read bad things about them online and the Bureau has cancelled their membership...to many unanswered complaints. 105+ in the last year. I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND CANCELLED IN TIME> Shop around any deal will be better with better work.

Measured my townhome and were over by 300 sq ft. They promise you vacation trips but really you are paying for it in their contract. I was going to be charged almost $5000 for 700 sq ft. My townhome is only 1006 sq ft. Not sure where they got 700 since it is a two bedroom place. I received a new estimate by another company and the square footage was only 500 sq ft and the cost was around $2000 and they were excellent. Express Flooring cashed my $100 check and then didn't refund it to me for over 2 months. I had to contact the Bettor Business Bureau to get my check back. Express Flooring is a company I would never like to have my worst enemy deal with!!
