I've been a DMB fan since before they were popular, and this is the album that I refused to let people play on my stereo in college. First of all, the cover makes me want to throw up in my mouth. Some of the songs are alright, but the whole album has a feel that leaves a bad taste in my mouth (again my vomit) DMB wanted to put out Lillywhite Sessions, but it was too "real" and "good." So they forced the band to record an entire new album of dull, watered down crap that turned into this album. Luckily, the forces of evil were thwarted and more people downloaded Lillywhite than bought this album.

Most of their tracks are not so catchy, its amazing to know a band that'll come up with a track as good as "Satellite & Space between" wouldnt have much more nice tracks.

Everyday is a great record. Though I don't believe it showcases the DMB in the manner of which I prefer, I can still judge the quality fairly. Truth is, this album rocks from start to end. The Space Between is the song that got me into DMB and the descriptions of a disfunctual relationship that survives because of a focus on the few good moments is real life. When The World Ends is a stunning song about a couple in love at the end of times and all the things they're doing until and while the world is in dissaray. (Side Note: I think Two Step is better though, it's far more powerful and also about a couple in love to the end of the world) So Right, Fool To Think and Dreams Of Our Fathers help the album to stay strong to to finish. Now for the only down side to this release. It can become quite repetitive at times and if you listen closely you can almost tell where the directors or who ever told them "Okay we got what need, we'll loop this" This is still a great album thou... I've never been a huge fan. Dave's voice annoys me after a little while. I do think this is my favorite album by them. Many fans don't seem to like it but I can't understand why. Angel is my favorite track on here. This album got me into their other work which I had previously written off.

As a late-blooming DMB fan, I listened to all of their albums around the same time. While this is a great record, and Dave is hardly ever less than amazing, I'm a much bigger fan of their first 3 albums than I am of the latest 3. But there are some beautiful tracks on this, and there really isn't much elaboration necessary. www.mypoproks.com

I've been a fan of the Band since '95, and I honestly tried listening to this album, but it just sucks too much. It's a shame that the Band doesn't even realize it and they shove the songs down your throat when you go see them live.

I honestly did try to like DMB, but somehow, the song the "Space between" just got on my nerves unbelievably! Somehow, they just never did anything for me.

I agree with Csribbles up there that Everyday isn't quite as good as the new Our Lady Peace album "spiritual machines", and the new Coldplay is great too, but thats abit older. Anyway, Everyday is still a solid album worth owning!!

DMB is so much more than a band, especially considering the "boy band" bull sh*t craze that the underformed minds of America has boughten into. But even before that happened i was jammin' out to the earlier, non-radio DMB. It's nice to hear DMB on the radio in a car with only AM/FM choices, but it's also a disappointment to come to the realization that some people do and will consider these musical masters "pop stars" they are so much more

I really like a lot of tunes on this album, especially "fool to think" and "sleep to dream her" and "when the world ends". those are phenomenal tunes. DMB at it's best . I hate the first song and don't really care for 'space between us", all the tunes on the radio so far. anyway, this is one of my favorite new albums. I would have given it 5 stars but had to give those honors to the new 'Our Lady Peace'. great album

I think that DMB is one of greatest "bands" these days, meaning the the musicians on this album are amazing, not just Dave. If anything, Dave is the least talented "musician"!! this album is all about the dynamics between musicians, and it works perfectly. the songs aren't as strong as ,say, Finley Quaye's new album, but they are really strong. AN album worth buying.

I think "everyday" is a very good album. As a huge DMB fan, I can say it's not my favorite DMB yet, but it's up there. Maybe it will sink in some more. the only album I've given 5 stars to this year is Finley Quaye's " Vanguard ", but "everyday" is real close!!

This is one of DMB's best! I wouldn't say the best, but DMB can really do no wrong. Every song is great and it the album just keeps getting better the more you listen to it. Dave kicks ass!

All you DAVEHEADS out there are going to be impressed as our hero finds happiness and a purpose to his life. This is not your typical "jam" album but look out for the concerts this summer to see some new improvision on these great tunes. The biggest upside which for some may be a down side is that we are going to hear more Dave Matthews on the radio than ever before and listening to this album I can see several releases that will be chart toppers well into the next year. So be prepared Billboard magazine this ones going to be around for a while. GREAT JOB DAVE

We have all waited a long time for this new studio cd, and it is well worth the wait. All bands have room for improvement, and this is a great example of improvement. It is somewhat different than the band's other cd's- the songs aren't as long, but the quality is still amazing. Each member shows a talent not amplified in the past albums. It is a wonderful showcase of music.
