Did Eve have a naval, I don't think so. She may have eaten the fruit first but it is Adam who willfully disobeyed God. Eve was deceived. Woman this is a reminder to you to listen to your husbands, woman are more easily deceived. It is because Adam ate the fruit that the earth was cursed, not Eve. When God came to find Adam and Eve, God spoke to Adam not Eve. Men are in a more responsible position in the bible. Woman are not door mats, but their office is different. God told Eve that he would multiply her sorrow and conception, meaning she would conceive children more rapidly, maybe instead of every 5 years to every year as we have now. The birthing would also be more sorrowful than it was originally designed. The womans desire was to be for the man to follow his lead.

If Eve hadn't ate that damn fruit, we would live forever and I'd also be able to see all of the women naked. I hate that piece of fruit.

Poor Eve sure got a bum rap. That "all knowing" Jehova had to know she'd get mighty curious about that "forbidden fruit".Then she listened to that old phallic symbol snake (funny how one of the major Pagan symbols of wisdom gets literally Demonized in this Patriarchal Myth) and tasted the fruit (not the Apple, which nobody but ancient americans had access to back then). She said "Wow.That old bugger (Jehova) lied.I'm still alive & my mind is EXPANDED.Let me share this with my Man.(Not such an evil thought,in my book).Adam,of course, had he been "superior" or more "obediant to God" could have refused, and rebuked her,but he went along and later put all the blame on her (Metaphorically for over 2000 years). What a WUSS ! It's even worse if you read the Lost Books of the Bible. There's WAY more to Adam & Eve that the Catholic Church censored and hacked out of the extant texts, and Adam looks worse all the time.He becomes a real whiner after they get kicked out by their anal retentive landlord. As ... Mislead. Unloved. Uncared for. Easily deceived. A victim of Adam, Satan and God Himself.

Actually from what I read...Lilith was the first wife of Adam but was a feminist and she turned into the serpent that tempted Eve to eat the apple....

I've often wondered why some enterprising Broadway producer doesn't stage a musical version of Adam and Eve. Its got romance, the potential for some big production numbers, etc. Sure, the cast isn't huge, but the theatrical boys can come up with some dancing apples or what-not for the chorus. My whimsey aside, its a good story, and one that is echoed in several cultures. Eve is an intriguing figure, much more so, in my opinion than her husband.

Our ancestral Mother, central to the web of fairy tales, guilt trips, superstitions and magic tricks that inform The Bible.  To propagate mankind, she either actively engaged in incest or oversaw a household where such was actively practiced.  This is pretty kinky when you think about it.  She's also a prime figure employed by those perverted and sick church fathers in promoting the misogyny and second-class citizen status of women maintained by Christianity over the centuries.

We had this woman in our church (over 90 years old) who said she gets mad at Eve every time she thinks about her, for breaking God's law. She has told me that when she gets to Heaven she wants to find Eve and tear her hair out! (I don't feel the same way, but thought it was funny.)

"To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God" (Revelation 2:7b). Eve made the wrong choice, but you don't have too. We should see that Christ does more than restore what Adam lost. He goes beyond Adam, offering the Overcomers fruit from the tree of life, fruit Adam knows nothing about. Obviously this is symbolic language, but what does it mean? The tree of life represents the Cross, for from that Tree the Lord yielded up His Life for us all. Those who overcome have learned that fruitfulness and life come from death to Self, and that is what the Cross means. The Cross is a tree of life to those who embrace it. Like Adam, we can choose to eat from either tree, but we cannot eat from both. Adam sinned when he fell into the flesh and yielded to his Self-life. He rejected the tree of life in favor of something that was "good... pleasant... and desirable" (Genesis 3:6ff). The Cross does not look like a tree ... Read more

An intuitive manouver on behalf of Satan, manipulating a woman to channel the temptation through to the man.A woman thinks more with the heart as oppose to the man who thinks with the head as it were.If a couple had some fortune befall them in the form of $75,000 the woman would most times out of ten entertain the thought of purchasing a new Aston Martin as for the man he would think almost immediately,a down payment for a house. If a man restricts his children to play XBOX only on the weekend the woman can overturn his decision by way of subtle approach to ask a favour in a way no man can,men would have to attend University to master this act of suppressing prudency. How do they do it?

But what many people fail to realize when they place the fall on Eve is that Adam was the one held acountable. Yes she was tempted and fell. But nothing was differant until Adam ate the fruit. Because the woman is held accountable to the man and the man held accountable to God. So if Adam hadnt of eaten the fruit than... nothing would have changed. ~In Christ~

Obviously not a real person and the story doesnt make sense. First god makes a tree and says dont eat from it but its still there to torment you. Thats like telling a two year old not to eat the candy thats in the closet theyll do it anyway.

As a symbolic character in a larger allegory, Eve is quite something. As a real person, I'm sorry, she's quite fictional.
