My wife and I visited Amsterdam, Munich and Prague in March 2008 for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was our first time to Europe and Leatta was a great agent for us. She tailored the entire trip to our interests and budget including rail travel between cities. Hotels were all what we requested (clean, safe, centrally-located, and cheap). Leatta gave us a lot of great advice and helped us put together a great trip. We loved all 3 cities, especially Amsterdam and Prague. I heartily reccommend Leatta and Europe - Your - Way.

Never willl I ever do business with this company. She has no idea what she's doing, she's all over the place and I found much better deals with a consolidator that charges WAY less than the stuff she quoted me. My recommendation is to go to google and then search for cheap flights to europe. You will find a few excellent consolidator websites. Who needs a "travel agent" (If you can call her that) when you can do it yourself and not pay a fee to someone who is working no harder than you are on this? Thanks, but NO thanks!

We're newbies traveling to Europe and chose to go to London, Brugge, Amsterdam, and Paris for 12 days. Leatta at Europe Your Way helped arrange the whole trip to our budget. Flew into London & did Eurorail from one country to the next then flew out of Paris. It was tiring taking trains from country to country & a little confusing trying to figure out what platform our train left out of & what time. Not to mention the language barrier issues in Belgium,Holland,& France. Stayed at Sydney House, London (small room w/tiny bath, clean, tv only had 6-7 channels, & good service), Martin's Hotel, Brugge (standard size room like in the U.S., modern, & clean, 8-9 channels on tv, service ok), Dikker En Thijs Fenice, Amsterdam (superior room is large w/ good sized bathroom, tv had the most channels w/ 9+, clean, & ok customer service), and St. Germain's Hotel, Paris (small room & bath w/ no shower curtain, modern furniture, carpet a little outdated, tv sadly only had 2 channels, & walls were thi... Travel arrangements were good, some of the hotels they chose were exceptional, while others were average or at best shabby. Travel arrangements were made by ferry, we arrive at the hotel at 5:00 am and stuck on the lobby sofa - would rather have paid an additional night so we could have checked in and gone back to sleep. Our flight was delayed by several hours, and the car service refused to pick us up even though this was prepaid. I have called, and emailed the travel agent several times for a refund. I got the run around - forget trying to get reimbursed for services not delivered! They just ignore you!

We had three weeks to see seven cities of our choosing: Rome, Venice, Vienna, Prague, Salzburg, Budapest and London. Leatta arranged our transportation between the cities, by airplane and train, and booked our hotels. She booked our tours as well and changed two of our hotels to areas where we had requested. Since we had a complicated itinerary, we checked the details thoroughly so that Leatta could make the necessary changes. The trip couldn't have been more perfect however we learned some lessons: book trips from your hotel (our hotel in Vienna refused to call the tour company to arrange our pick-up from the hotel), check departing train stations from the city because you may not leave from the one you arrived at, and if you will be staying at the Holiday Inn - Kensington in London, the one on Cromwell, not Gloucester, is the better one all around. Leatta helped make our ambitious trip possible but we also did our own research and Leatta made it happen.

Although Leatta's area of expertise is not necessarily Asia, the trip she planned for us went off without a hitch! Our first stop was Bangkok's Marriot Hotel and Spa. Leatta suggested that we book our room on the lower end and wait until arrival to upgrade. What good advice this was as we were upgraded at a discounted rate when we got to the hotel. After enjoying the city (and my friend's wedding), we went on to check out what everyone talks about-- the beaches of Thailand. Our driver was there on time to safely deliver us to the airport. I personally have never travelled with luxuries like limo service to the airport, etc. However, Leatta casually insisted that this was the way to go when travelling. There are two main reasons why this makes so much sense: first, travelling in such a foreign land is stressful enough-- there is something magical about having one less detail to worry about.... secondly, it's pretty cheap in Thailand! Once in the south, our accomodations were ag... Read more

Europe Your Way is a phenomenal travel agency and I am MORE than impressed with the fine service that Leatta and her team offered to me while planning my European vacation. My sister and I ended up having the times of our lives and we owe much of that to our friends at Europe Your Way. I first contacted Leatta back in March with big dreams of traveling to Europe with my sister this summer on an extremely shy budget. From the very beginning, I was so thankful to Leatta for her comprehensive understanding of traveling abroad in Europe. She helped to create a realistic plan (and, more importantly, a realistic budget) for us and clarified the very overwhelming process of planning a trip to Europe. Leatta was more than responsive to my endless questions and concerns regarding the trip, always getting back with me with answers within 24 hours. She frequently went above and beyond to meet personally with me to discuss all of the logistics of the trip. She guided me through this process to ... Read more

I've never experienced such bad service from a travel agency before. My husband and I planned a trip to Europe with my parents for my dad's birthday and we are glad we decided not to continue using this agency's services. Leatta purchased the wrong rail tickets for us to travel from Prague to Germany. We tried to reach her numerous times to change the tickets but she never got back to us. She never returned our emails or phone calls and after a month of not hearing from her we decided to cancel all our travel arrangements with her and requested a refund for the deposit we had made. Since we are based in NY, a friend of mine had to personally go to her office and demand the refund since she never got back to us. I had to change the rail tickets directly with the provider and we only got back 85% of the total price. We ended up making the travel arrangements on our own and it ended up being much cheaper than what she was offering. I?m not the type of person who writes reviews but I decid... Read more

I booked my cooking trip to Sorrento through ciaolaura and it was much easier than trying to deal with the timezone change. They were AWESOME and let me know everyting I need to know before going on my trip, including extra stuff about Capri and the area. If you don't want to stay at a hostel, you can also rent a nice room. check them out ciaolaura!

This travel agency was the worst I have ever experienced, and I take international trips at least once per year!! I have no idea how this place gets such glowing reviews, if it wasn't for my meticulous checking and re-checking of the travel documents I would probably be still trying to find my transportation around Europe. The agent made terrible hotel and city reccomendations (PLEASE don't go ever to Naples), screwed up our itenerary multiple times, including dates and times of travel, as well as mispelling our names and falsifying our ages on the records. The agent even forgot to include rail in our package quote and it ended up being $600 more than we had budgeted after we had already made the "final payment." Plus, they do not have accomodations in many cities we wanted to visit such as Ravello, Postiano, Bellagio in Italy and they discouraged and refused to plan anything to Turkey because it is a so-called "red flag," even though friends of mine went just last month and had a smas... My two friends and I had a wonderful European vacation thanks to Leatta and Europe Your Way. I've never had an extended (14-day) vacation work out so well all down the line. Every hotel welcomed us, no matter if we arrived very early or very late. Seven hotels, seven winners. Of course, as is typical of European hotels, the size of the rooms varied wildly. But in each one, we were treated very well. The Eurail passes worked to perfection, even in the Czech Republic, where they never heard of service with a smile. I'm already planning another vacation so I can use Europe Your Way again.

Dear Leatta, We came back from Europe last July and we had a fantastic time thanks to you. All the accommodations were comfortable and transportation was always on time. Although we were 6 people (3 minors and 3 adults), everything went very smooth and we were able to visit all the places we had planned. Especially pleasant was our staying in Venice. The owner of the Estancia we stayed was very nice and the place was very clean. I want to go back there again!! In Paris hotel Madrid Opera was not that comfortable but we were able to watch from our windows how common people in Paris live their daily lives and have fun. The Opera Quartert was the perfect location to stay, walk, and admire all the architecture. Every building is a palace...and The Louvre,Versalles and Notre Dame were just astonishing. In Florence our room was on the 5th floor and the only inconvenience was to carry our luggage and walk every day up the five floors since there is no elevator. But the magnificent art... Read more

I had a difficult itinerary to book, multi-country, little time, on a tight budget. Europe Your Way did everything over the phone, very professional, they are really good at booking great three star places for low prices. Will use them forever!

Well, I heard of it as a cooking school but it is so much more than that. It's a family you become a part of. Let's start by saying that the accommodations are fine and the food is surperb but what really endears them to you are the two dogs, eating family-style with the other guests, and interacting with Mami Camilla's help, four of which are her very own English-speaking young adults! Such delightful, warm, caring people you just know you'll return again and again for that "family" experience.

I never had to worry about seeing my travel plans come to fruition using this service. When my initial flight was delayed and I missed a scheduled dinner, they did what they could to make sure I was refunded and my inconveniences were remmedied. My accommodations were exactly what I needed, and very convenient to transportation and places I wanted to go. I would definitely use this service again and reccomend it to others.

We used Europe-Your-way to plan our HoneyMoon to Italy. Our last hotel in Rome had hot water problems. We were in a closet size room without hot water for $175 a night. They moved us twice to additional rooms that had no hot water. On our last night they moved us to the new part of the hotel and we had hot water. Also we paid $75 for first-class train tickets and ended up on the floor from Florence to Rome as the conductor refused our tickets. Our agent told us we had a first class ticket on any train. We requested a refund for our last hotel and these train tickets. We have received no followup or refund. I would recomended against using this service. There level of customer service is totally unaceptable. Don't let them ruin your trip. They should have addressed our complaints but they didn't.

Leatta was great in assiting me plan my trip to Italy on a short notice. My boyfriend and I came back from Italy last month and we have a great time! We never been to Italy and Leatta was helpful in answering any questions; from what restaurants to eat to tiny details like bringing less luggage since the streets of Italy are cobbled stoned making it difficult to roll a luggage. She is knowledgable with the cities and book me in hotels that were within my budget and in central areas which saved us a lot of travel between the main point of attractions. Not only that she made it easier by booking our trains and coordinating the time, it was like having a guided tour but without the guide! Leatta is great at connecting with people which helped with figuring out what we wanted to do in each city.

It was my first trip outside of California and a friend of mine recommended Leatta. I was apprehensive about handing over conrtol, but it turned out that hiring her was an awesome decision. She was so wonderfully helpful, that even her spunky presence added to my vacation. Thank you for making my first trip so memorable!

I work for a small corporation and we were in need of some last minute arrangements for a client in Europe. I had a VERY difficult time trying to set it all up and do my own work at the same time so I loked up travel agents using citysearch and tried Ms. Perdue. She was efficient, friendly and very savvy about Europe and the areas I needed to work with. I made one call and she handled everything. On top of that, she got us a great deal, which made me look good to the company!!! I will most certainly use her again.
