Fri Jan 30 2009I am going to miss this show when it leaves us in March. It's going to feel like a family member dying. I will mourn for a while and never forget it.

Wed Jan 14 2009I used to watch this every week without fail, but with most of the characters killed off or moving on, I havent seen this season at all--even if it is the last.

Wed Jun 11 2008it was good back when it first started, now I can't bring myself to watch it... too many cast members have gone that i loved and the characters have changed and so many new actors and actresses are on there now.. it's just not the same

Fri Mar 21 2008I still watch it even though after a kazillion years it is getting a little stale...though not enough for me to turn it off yet. Been watching since the beginning.

Sun Sep 30 2007i'd rather catch the re-run every morning on tnt than watch the new seasons......... seem the show has gone down hill the last couple seasons.........

Sun Jun 10 2007Excellent depiction of how our emergency rooms are operated, great action, and very good story lines.

Sun May 06 2007I used to really like this show, but all the characters that I liked are now gone. I think that this show has lost it's spark.

Sat Feb 17 2007I love the older seasons but they seem to be running out of ideas and the shows getting a little repetative.

Sun Nov 05 2006Finally, Laura Innes back in the mix of ER. She is the show's spice, what we have missed over the last couple of seasons. Kerry Weaver is the one standout character that gives the show the texture that it has been lacking. Hopefully we will see Weaver continue to evolve, a multi-faceted intellegent creature. Smart is sexy. Young and traditionally beautiful characters may sell products, but mature seasoned actors give substance to this long standing network show that sometimes misses the boat when it comes to artistic merit. Give me Innes or jump the shark already.

Fri May 05 2006I like this show, but I'll admit that I haven't caught any from this season yet.

Fri May 05 2006I'll admit that I liked the show better in past seasons, but it doesn't change the fact that I still like the show even today. The characters, Carter and Abby tend to be my favorite of the current cast. And aside from the new characters, the plots are still catchy enough that I'll sit and watch it on Thursday nights.

Tue Feb 21 2006Yall are crazy. the ER is THE best show on television and I will be insanely upset if it ever goes off air. I hope it stays on for another 50 years. only show i take time out to catch. Dr. Prat and Neela and Abby and Shane West its just a PHENOMENOL dream cast. I love it I love it I love it. If it went off air i would start a movement ot get it back on. Love It!

Fri Feb 10 2006Agreed ~ jumped the shark a long time ago. Should've taken its curtain call the way "NYPD Blue" had the sense to.

Fri Dec 23 2005Still going strong. It's the ONLY series that I have consistently stayed with even through cast changes. I hope it never goes away.

Thu Nov 24 2005This was a good show until all of their cast from the first couple of seasons left. ER should have been cancelled about three seasons ago. I never did like Carter. Abby was always hot.

Sat Oct 15 2005THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION!!! MAURA TIERNEY IS THE BEST!!! ABBY LOCKHART IS BY FAR THE BEST ER CHARACTER EVER!!!
by banshee
Mon Aug 08 2005Starting to become stale and redundant. Storylines are increasingly bizarre, and the characters are interchangeable. I just do not care about all the intern/medical student characters they have loaded the show with. If it had ended a couple of seasons ago, I would've elevated it to 4 stars.

Fri Jun 24 2005This show jumped the shark so long ago that the shark had time to reproduce and bring a lot of little sharks into the world.
by whitedove
Sat May 14 2005Scott Grimes is the best!! He's the only reason I watch the show. If I don't see his name at the start of the show...CLICK!! I hope he never leaves!! :)

Sun May 08 2005I'm giving it this rating for the legacy, and the fact that inexplicably, it has managed to more or less maintain (and even rebound a bit from the last few years) a similar level of quality.

Thu May 05 2005Love It I watch it every thursday and all the reruns too

Tue Apr 26 2005I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!! ER is one of the few great tv shows left out there. I never miss a new episode and I hope the show stays on for another good long while.

Sun Apr 03 2005i watched er it seemed like forever. i dont watch anymore. it still is good i just seem to have not connected with alot of the new characters. my favorites are gone like dr romano & i missed that episode. could somebody tell me how he died? i cant seem to find it anywhere. i loved lucy & i think her character had so much potential but i guess i was wrong. dr green became a favorite during his parents atorylines. peter grew on me but he was always so moody. i could go on and on about this cuz i think that i watched cuz you felt like they all were a part of your life and you wanted to what was going on with them

Wed Mar 30 2005this show is too out there i mean it can be good most of the time but i just can't stand it
by texasyankee
Tue Mar 29 2005This show is good although I only watched it when I was working IN THE ER in new york, and the nurses loved to watch the show because they liked to see where they messed up by giving the wrong meds or doing something out of order.
by steamroller3
Fri Feb 25 2005Do people still watch this crap?
by estoya00
Tue Jan 18 2005They've lost their minds, and it's great!

Sat Dec 18 2004as a hospice nurse i am concerned over the show which featured the doctor caring for her dying parent in the home. with todays meds and a good hospice team the pain and anxiety exhibited by the characters would not have happened. her father with interventions would pack his bags with dignity and the caregiver would have no regrets. people watching this episode would have gained so much more if hospice was involved. thank you for allowing me to vent julie rn

Sat Dec 18 2004ER used to be my favorite show on TV but it has gotten to the point of being embarassingly bad. The needed to call it quits before it got into this laughable state.
by aurielle
Wed Dec 01 2004I haven't watched this regularly or anything, but I do enjoy it on occasion. I do like Scott Grimes and I'm looking forward to seeing Eion Bailey playing Abby's love interest in the coming weeks.

Wed Oct 27 2004ER is one of the shows that I have watched then stopped watching over the years, this season is great.

Wed Aug 18 2004ER is one of the best shows ever made for television and has managed to stay as good as it ever was despite the constant cast changes. It has great acting and writing and has out lived many other medical shows while still sitting high in the rating regardless as to what crap NBC has put in front of it. Will go down as one of the best shows of all time.

Mon Jul 12 2004I loved ER, especially the earlier ones. Julianna Margulies is going to be on a new show called The Grid. It starts July 19th on TNT.
by luvthetube
Sat Jun 12 2004ER used to be my favorite show but over the past two years, it has gotten ridiculously dramatic (tank approaching Emergency Room, doctor hit by helicopter twice, etc.). I wish the writers would focus more on the medical case studies and quit trying to entertain us with some of these outlandish stunts just for increased ratings! Still a good show but used to be much, much better.

Fri Jun 11 2004Has been better

Wed May 26 2004ER..... it's been a tragic season for its characters! It seemed as though - I felt as though - the writers were going to end it, but they've managed to write in really great new characters and draw in excellent actors. I'm especially impressed by the addition of all the new interns for comic relief. It's realistic, believable and that's the best part....I'm still enthralled by the scripts and storylines and impressed with the writing and character developments. It's just an excellent program! Kudos!

Wed May 26 2004good show but has declined over the years.
