Mon Oct 18 2010When I was in need of a professional resume, Employment 911 was recommended to me as a company who would be able to handle my particular needs for an executive resume. I had always written my own resumes, but knew that the resumes I did for myself were outdated. Gives you a clue of my age! Anyway, my writer was absolutely wonderful. Personal contact, beautiful format, LOTS of editing, and much patience are just a few of the great services offered to me at that time. And believe me, I was fussy. My writer guided me expertly into a very professional resume, worded appropriately, and edited to meet my requests. She knew what to omit and what to include so that I looked very professional, if I do say so myself. I have recommended Employment 911 to family members and friends with confidence, and they have all been extremely satisfied. My son was told that his was one of the most impressive resumes that the company he was applying for had ever seen. I will definitely employ their s... Read more

Sat Oct 16 2010DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! IT IS A SCAM!! They say that it is 100% Guaranteed money back on their resume writing services. I've heard of scams of businesses like these taking advantage of those seeking jobs in a recession period so I made sure I was thorough in asking questions. I wanted to make sure I spoke directly with a person so that there are no loopholes like most companies post on the terms and conditions section of their sites. On June 3rd, I spoke with Summer, who is one of their sales representatives, I told him that I had a stellar resume but I was willing to let them rewrite it IF it wound up doing a better job and actually getting me a job in the marketing field. I do not mind paying for something if it actually works/delivers. I asked him what the 100% Guaranteed refund stipulations are and that I did not want any surprises if I request my full refund after the 120 days the resume hadn't resulted in an interview or job. He said "There are no stipulations, you get y... Read more

Fri Oct 15 2010I know more than one person who used this service with GREAT results. Two of them received a great product which they used to apply to their dream jobs. They both GOT the job and received a pay increase. The writers were great and really took the basic information they gave and made it look great on paper. I would really reccommend this service to anyone. Hopefully I never need it but I may purchase it just in case I ever find myself in the position to need it. Better to be prepared now!

Thu Oct 14 2010We offer experienced resume writers. Many of whom have quite amazing backgrounds in government positions. Obviously this makes for a great federal resume if that is what you are in the market for. For the non federal clients, we have writers on staff who are professors, English majors, & have worked in all facets of the corporate world. No matter your goals, we have a writer who can meet your needs. Although the style of our website may be outdated and not the most amazing looking website, we pride ourselves on the amazing work we do. Our goal is to get our clients jobs. That is our only purpose. We do this by offering several services such as resume writing, resume posting, & resume blasting. We also offer free job searches although this is not something we focus on specifically. Our customer service is a step above the rest. Our reps have been in their positions for several years and are well versed in all of the various services we offer. If you're looking to advance in ... Read more

Thu Oct 07 2010I'm a mechanical engineer and I actually got quite a few interviews after they wrote my resume. I agree with other reviews that the site's design doesn't look that good but, to me, getting a good resume was more important and I'm pretty happy with the result.

Sat Feb 20 2010RE: employment911.com I feel like they robbed money from me. Almost $300.00. I requested 7 KSA's. They had me give them 14 written examples. My final product was almost identical to what I sent to them. I asked for a better draft and they came back and asked me to write more; I ended up doing it myself. They sent the first drat to me and I canceled at that time. They will not return my calls or emails, regarding a refund. This really was a BAD decision I made on my behalf and should have not given them my credit card number. Anybody have any advice on getting a refund from them? Thanks Kelly

Tue May 26 2009The web page is extremely misleading. Statements like 'you will absolutely get more interviews and job offers... I guarantee it' are absolutely false. 'I'll refund every penny' only works if you contact them in a narrow time slot after they have provided the service. This time comes when you haven't had much time to send out the resumes. When I asked for a refund, they offered to rewrite the resume; after the time slot, forget about getting a penny back. The resume itself was a fair effort. I rewrote my own resume using tips from career.wsj.com and had more success.

Mon Oct 13 2008Steer VERY clear of this company. Absolutely horrible quality and customer service. It took them 3 weeks and 3 drafts to get my name spelled correctly and an accurate description of the position I was seeking (although I had given it to them!)I paid $357 for the 'executive IT package'. They promised that I would be assigned a professional IT resume writer, but I was assigned a religion major who had no clue how to structure an IT resume or translate my resume into accurate phrasing. This was a total ripoff. They won't refund your money until your resume has been posted for 90 days, so if the resume is unacceptable for posting, you are without recourse.

Sun Sep 28 2008Beware! The first red flag should have been the realy low prices. Would you want a writing professional who gets a percentage of $114? They pay their affiliates 12.5% to 25% (according to the site). That leaves $75ish. The writer probably makes $30-40. How much time do you think they'll spend for $40? What kind of professional works for a few bucks/hour? Second red flag should have been the adware pop ups!! Whoa...look at the probable fake reviews below!! They even named themselves happycustomer and happycustomer2. :) Be careful!!! Always ask these companies how much the writer actually makes.

Thu May 24 2007The company I work for has never posted a job with this site and we are receiving resumes for jobs we never have posted or opened. If you are considering signing up for this service they are liars and cheats who need to be turned over to the FTC and District Attorneys office in each state they operate in.

Fri Aug 18 2006The site is a scam. They do take your own resume and just copy it into a new format. Refuse to refund and will send your personal info to other business without your agreement to it. My email address and phone number has been posted on multiple sites and they singed up for things under my name again without my approval.

Tue Mar 11 2003This website has more adware than jobs. It infects your computer with the Gater Adware that requires a search and destory to remove. Stay away from it.
