    Bought new bathing suit specifically for this outing. Totally wasted as there was no boat. I wish i would have never met Elm Hill marina. Maybe you should just drive a little further to Center Hill or just pay Elm Hill to kick you in the nuts plus gas. (minus boat date) Cake

    Summary: A group of 14 of us rented a pontoon boat for Saturday, July 11, 2009. We reserved the boat on or around May 11, 2009. We made the required deposit. We planned to arrive at the marina at around 9 AM on that Saturday and use the boat for 8 hours. At 9AM on July 11, 2009, the marina called to let us know that we no longer had a boat reserved with them, because "your boat" broke down. We explained to the marina that we had purchased and prepared approximately $300 worth of food and beverages for our outing. They were really unsympathetic. They offered us half off on a WEEKDAY of our choice. We explained that all 14 of us had jobs and could not just take off a WEEKDAY to come use one of the several boats that they would no doubt not have rented out for that day. I will never patronize this business again. I advise everyone to use other marinas. These people are very rude and very unprofessional.
