To the moderator :It seems you came after Hurricane Georges when must of the vegetation was destroyed causing damage to most of the forest. This event changed the natural behaviour of the rain forest for several years but now is almost at its normal conditions. We invite you to come and visit us again.

I lived in Puerto Rico for a while and it doesn't need to be raining for you to see the water falls. Did you see la Mina falls that is the big one.

I'll make this a lot shorter than most of my comments. Magnificent. Unbelievable. See it.

It is beautiful. Too bad abichara1882 didn't get to see the rainfall..Should have gotten a guide to see it. She probably went to other side of the falls, lol..

Puerto Rico has some really nice beaches and nightlife but this attraction is a total rip off. I went when it was not raining in the rain forest, so there were none of the so-called waterfalls that were advertised. The country side is pretty nice though and Puerto Rico overall is okay.

This is one marvelous rain forest and so easy to get to from most US international airports; a great trip whether its an adventure vacation or a simple nature hike (not to mention that PR also offers great food, great beaches, and a really fun vacation overall).
