It was a wonderful highchair for my son. The only problem, if you want to call it a problem, was detaching the removable cover tray to put it in the dishwasher, which was a great clean-up perk. I am parting with this chair to give it to a friend who needs it and I am confident they will love it as much as we did.

Although this seat looks attractive, my baby's legs got caught betweent the very front rail and the rail next to it. It is difficult to see in the picture, but the rails along the side are all equally spaced, except for the one at the front of the chair, which has a slightly different shape (curves upward on an angle, so there is enough room for a baby's leg to get stuck in there). Anyways, deserves a recall, if you ask my opinion. Also, the safety/seat belt on this item was completely useless to me. It was not user-friendly at all, doesn't hold baby securely and flimsy if you ask me. Instead of purchasing this item, I should have purchased a "booster-seat" type of chair from the beginning, which I could use at the table on top of an existing chair, and also fold up for travel. I currently have the Fisher-Price rain forest booster seat, which fits the baby much better and takes up a lot less room in our house.

I really like this high chair. The fabric cover is easily removable for washing, and the chair itself is extremely sturdy. I think it is nearly impossible for it to tip over in the course of normal use. The safety harness is a little weird in design, but once you get used to it, it is easy. I think this chair is an excellent value for the pricetag (under $100, new).

I've used this high chair for about 8 months; my son is now almost 1 year 2 months old. I bought it because I liked the idea of natural wood rather than plastic because of environmental reasons, and because I reasoned a wooden chair would ultimately last years longer than a metal-and-plastic one. (The tray assembly, by the way, is all plastic, as is most of the frameword that the tray snaps onto. Everything else, is solid wood, doesn't look like particleboard.) The chair is extremely easy to assemble -- just four large bolt-like screws. But, every few months the bolts loosen, and one or another falls out onto the floor. (Yes, they're swallow-able, and fairly large too, so it's a hazard that absolutely should not be. Deserves a recall, if you ask my opinion.) Periodically, I must go around tightening the bolts. I should note there is one bolt that is most prone to loosening & falling out, so maybe there is a fluke manufacturing problem with that one bolt. But the other bolts... Read more
