I’ve been involved in the business of technology for around twenty years now. My main focus has been internet technology for the past seven years. So you could say that I have just about seen it all. One of the things I’ve seen all too often is the debilitating impact of tracking customers and invoices without using a computer. Believe it or not there are still businesses that try to do this, luckily not too many. Most businesses now at least know they need computers. However, most small to medium businesses, not to mention start-up business, do not have the technical horsepower to maintain and service the machines required to run their day to day business transactions. Heaven forbid the machine should crash or die. Enter the cloud, and eazybusiness. Cloud computing takes the machine out of your office and puts it on the internet. This means that someone else takes care of backups. Someone else makes sure the system is running. Someone else handles the grunt work, leav... Read more

In the past five years we have seen the emergence of a new breed of customer value focused, cutting edge companies such as sugarcrm, and salesforce. eazybusiness seems to continue this trend, supplying a collection of valuable tools for running a business, and wrapping them in a nice package they appear to call a "webtop". Their invoices, quotations, etc. from the data in the system. If we do decide to commit to eazybusiness, that will have been a big factor. Other than the crm, I also checked out their human resources module. I haven't ever used one before, so I have nothing to really compare it to. That said, I really liked the recruitment side of things. For any positions define for your company you can decide that you have a vacancy, and publish this vacancy on your company web page. It even takes care of applicants applying online. Pretty slick! The price is not obvious on the site, but they've quoted me 30 euro/month per user, which is less than I've paid anywhere previousl... Excellent site of a small business owner. They have a hosted version of Zimbra email, a very easy to use CRM and inventory management systems, and a good HR and Timesheet tracking system for my employees. It covers over 80% of my needs as a small business owner... all they really need to add is an accounting package so I can share my books with my accountant. Pricing is excellent as we were able to eliminate our MS Exchange server and now our employees can access the office in a secure way from home and on the road. The only area I had problems with was the web site administration tool. It takes some work to understand how the content management system works. Not sure it is as Eazy and they promote on the web site. Overall well worth testing if you are a small business owner who would like to cut your expenses and gain access to a professional set of business support tools. MR
