Eagle Eye Optical

My experience at Eagle Eye Optical was a great! The customer service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. I actually bought some very trendy glasses and my son who is 10 also needed glasses. The staff was very eager to help us and make sure that everything was done correctly. Fitting kids for glasses can sometimes be a hard task but Melaina was very patient. This is a great place to shop for glasses and I would refer everyone who is looking for good customer service, great products, and a great atmosphere.

Have you ever had to work all day, have your phone ring off the hook, have people yelling at you and still have to perform as a parent? The last thing I have is time, to do anything. So when my 3 boys all needed glasses, and all 3 of them having fits, one of my customers suggested that I go to Eagle Eye Optical. I said "huh?" I had never heard of it, and I don't wear glasses. He said that they would take care of me, and just to trust him. Well my first mistake was that I didn't listen. Not sure if anyone has checked out their eye insurance lately, but mine is not so great. I was looking at a STEEP bill and became more overwhelmed with the cost versus them being able to do their homework, play sports, and fish...(all the things boys like to do). I usually go to a one hour and your glasses are ready conglomerates because I hate to wait. But my past experiences have been anything but great. When I went to Eagle Eye I wanted to support the independent business owner being one myself. I went in not knowing what to expect and I was surprised on how helpful and the "can do" attitude the owner and her staff were. First of all, I was happy to see that the employees were of different backgrounds. Then the owner helped me pick out my frames and helped me decide on what type of lenses would best suit me. When I went back to pick up my glasses she sat me down and adjusted the frames to my face which is not the easiest to do since I am multi-ethnic and I never find frames that look great on me but I find what is functional. I had to say this was the first pair of frames that I loved on my face. All I can say are great things.. I wish I had gone to them in the first place.. While I commute to Lake Oswego from Salem Daily I had a bad expeience with a clinic close to my work. First off they told me they took my insurance when in fact they did not. I was already at the appointment and did not have time to make it somewhere else.. But I was assured I could send my claim in and get me money back.. Well that was not the case so I spent close to 300.00 and would have rather saved money and given the purchase to Eagle Eye Optical. I am going to purchase the glasses from them for sure and know the pair I want.. The staff is very great to work with. I have no problem reffering business to them in the future. THANK YOU

What a disappointment. I needed the lenses on my glasses changed and decided to try Eagle Eye. Although the big name stores that I called said they could get the job done in about an hour, and Eagle Eye didn't even have my rather common prescription in stock, I felt (and still do) that supporting a local store would be the right thing to do. The price also seemed comparable to a big name store. The first time I came in the owner took my information and told me my lenses should arrive at the beginning of the week. She would call me and I could bring my glasses in to be replaced within the hour. She never called, so on Friday afternoon I did. I brought in my glasses that Saturday and she said she couldn't get to them then, so I agreed to come back in a few hours. When I came back 3 hours later, they still weren't done. The folks at Eagle Eyes are just plain fabulous. My exam was the most thorough I ever experienced and everyone joined in to help me pick out the right frames from their stylish collection. Dr. To listened to my unique needs and came up with a pair of glasses that I just love to wear. I will certainly be back and highly recommend Eagle Eyes to anyone looking for the best professional care with a personal touch.

The atmosphere was industrial chic with a homey feel. The customer service was fabulous. The optometrist Dr Summi was very inciteful and nice. They helped me through the whole process from my eye appt to choosing frames. Very knowledgable staff, Malaina was very pleasant and funny. Enjoyable experience especially if you are tired of the corporate cheap glasses in 1 hour and want to support the little independent shops then go here!

I absolutely loved my experience at Eagle Eye! The optometrist I saw was very thorough and caring and the staff at Eagle Eye was great. They took the time to help me find the perfect designer frames. I would totally recommend this clinic/optical shop to anyone who is searching for the folks who truly care about their patients/customers. I will definetely be back!

I went here to get my eye exam and glasses. It is a nice locally owned shop that offers a great selection and home town service. They have lots of modern frames a a great selection of vintage! I will go back and recommend this place to others! Not your typical eyeglass place.
