I only had problems with 3 out of the pack of durabrand. I later bought Memorex and have thrown away up to now 30 of them , non burned successfully. However, I discovered also that durabrand is best recorded on medium speed. I tried the memorex again using a faster speed and I had more success, not 100% though, still had 1 faulty track. Maybe I will try on at extra fast speed and see how that goes.

Bought a 50 pack from Walmart and went through the first 10 without a successful burn. No sense in going any further...I am attempting to return them all for a refund. They are obviously defective and I will never trust this brand name again.

Bought a large pack of these on clearence at walmart and I have only had a select few that burned well. The rest are in the trash! Every disk I use it is telling me that the disk is damaged or corrupt. What a crock! Memorex is much better! Total waste of money. If anyone knows where I can get a hold of the main company that makes durabrand please email me at [email protected] Thanks.

Absolute trash, cant guarantee you will be able to retrieve your data or hear your music. Made in Taiwan. Walmart will not refund my money since I can not return ALL of them. I threw some away before I realized I was going to have 20 out of 50 be bad.

Bought a pack of 50 for (I think) $13 and all of the data cds have turned out fine, but the audio CDs never work right. Crackling and popping and, curiously, every CD has a problem with playing track 5.

I have used hundreds of the Durabrand CD-R in both pink and black printing and have had much better luck than with Memorex brand. I have used with Sony, TDK, HP drives as well as others. I will continue to buy until I have problems.

I get a 50% failure rating with these CD-Rs. Figures, my girlfriend got them at walmart. I get bad music burns that cannot play in my car, and simeple data cds cause my drives to spin and not read the disks. Typical walmart product, complete junk. Do not buy this garbage.

So far every disc burned at 48x and 40x plays with crackles and interruptions that sound like an old 12 lp. Gonna try burning @ a slower speed to see if quality improves. If it says on the label 48x Multispeed I expect it to do so without any problems, but I guess the quality is really cheap.

$22 for a 100 pack at Walmart- ones I bought have black prining on them. Have burnt 250 of them so far- might have been a coaster or 2 in the bunch, but not any more than any other brand I've tried. Highly recommend them. The only time I've ever really had problems with burning a lot of coasters is when I burn at the fastest rate available on my CD burner (48X). Switched to burning at 40X and burn very few coasters no matter what brand of CDR I'm using.

I have bought two 50-packs and two 100 packs of these. The 50 packs burned just fine and the printing on the CD was gray in color. Now all I see at WalMart are the same discs with black printing. Of the first 100 pack of these, 20 were coasters. On the pack I am on now, a ratio of every other one has been a junker. Some won't even begin the burn, some quit in the middle of the burn, and some burn all the way but fail to close. One even burned just fine and it all looked good, but will not read! At the rate of every other one being bad, you bet I'm gonna take the bad ones back and complain until I get them replaced. I paid for 100 discs (regardless of how good a deal its supposed to be), and I do expect maybe 1 in 10 coasters, but half is just plain WRONG. Alot of these discs you can look at and they don't look right on the record side. I have top-notch equipment, and it's burning the Memorex and Imation discs just fine. This brand is just JUNK!

Bought a 100-pack spindle at Walmart and every single one burned just fine. Great value. $22 for 100 CDs.

I've been through at least 2 or 3 spindles of 100 going on a new one that is red/pink label. The other were green label. I've upgraded my cdr/w twice, and now have a cdr/w and dvd reader, and have had no problem with this brand. I bought at Walmart. None whatsoever.
