Mon Jul 04 2011It's pretty average. Like a lot of local things wherever you go, it gets " the parochial boost" merely by being from the area. It's not superb, but it's not bilgewater either.

Sat Feb 05 2011When they first reopened locations in my area the coffee was great. After a bit the taste wasn't quite the same but it's still good. I'm not sure if the taste change is the locations that I'm going to are keeping the coffee on too long or not properly cleaning the equipment but the taste isn't quite the same.

Tue Nov 23 2010The home coffee my mom got at her house was nasty! had a hint of glue taste to it and was very sour otherwise. and at 5 dollars and something for a bag? Hell no!

Mon Nov 22 2010It's OK coffee if you like your coffee very weak. I don't mind their flavored coffee such as the Peppermint mocha coffee they have around Xmas and their lattes and espresso based drinks. I find their regular coffee to taste very nasty and I find it to be weak both in the store and when I have bought a bag of D&D coffee from the supermarket I find it weak. I made a standard cup of coffee with a bag of D&D coffee at home from the supermarket. I made it with about 5 heaping tablespoons. I found it to be very weak and I drank it at 10PM and I was able to fall asleep that night! I did not get decaf coffee either. I've had store brand coffee, Folger's, Maxwell house, and I bought basic Mexican coffee beans, not Nescafe Classico but even that is stronger than D&D's coffee and even those types of coffee tasted better and were stronger than D&D coffee.

Thu Oct 14 2010Ahh Dunkin Donuts. Most of us have been their, and always have that one thing we order. First off, the overall menu is pretty good. I usually get a cinnamon donut and a coffee coolata <-- great for those hot summer days. The only thing is that sometimes it doesn't come out right and tastes gross. It also has 400 calories w/ whipped cream. (Better off get small coffee coolata w/ skim milk: 210 calories). The store layout is great and warm. I am always pleased with the service (very quick and easy). I'm not a big fan of their bagels. (Although my sister loves them, so its a matter of opinion). I once got a hot flatbread their, (forgot the name), and it tasted horrible, so i wouldn't recommend that. Pros: Pretty good food, great environment, fast service, good prices Cons: Sometimes food turns out bad, depending on person serving it, and Calories are horrible.

Mon Mar 22 2010I am surprised that Dunkin Donuts coffee is the most often rated on this list. It's good don't get me wrong, but it can't touch some of the organic coffees on the list. Maybe people are associating donuts with coffee? It's not a bad strategy to include the word in the name of your coffee, I mean I hear 'Dunkin Donuts coffee' and I want some, and not just because I like their coffee, but because somewhere inside me a voice goes, 'yes donuts'.

Sun Mar 21 2010It is rated high maybe because it is much better in the East. It depends on how one makes the coffee like with a lot of things. In Phoenix it is just so so. There is nothing like it in the morning when you can get it with a doughnut. It also at least before was not as expensive. I notice it going up in price and trying to compete with Starbucks.

Thu Mar 18 2010Dunkin' Donuts is delicious! I like it much better than Starbucks, or any of the other chains.

Sat Aug 29 2009I have heard how Dunkin' Donuts Coffee is just as good, if not better than Starbucks coffee for a good while now. I must say it is not bad, in fact, it is very good. However, it still is missing variety of different types of roasts. The price is what is most appealing!

Sat Jul 25 2009Talk about weak coffee, oh god. I am from New England and there is a chain out here called Honey Dew donuts and their coffee blows DD out of the water. Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee is the worst ( really watery).

Thu Jul 16 2009Probably over-hyped for so many years it's probably overrated. . .but still a strong choice. Good body, aroma, and flavor. . .just like that girl from Chicago I met. . . Am I the only one that thinks they put so much sugar in it a fly would go "whoa. . .kinda sweet"?

Wed Jul 15 2009I love dd when I would work I would go there at lease 2 a day then i worked there i think i am better consumer but everyone tells me i know how to make a pot of coffee so please since i am unemployed i would love more offers and freebies and willing to be a taster for you..

Wed Jun 24 2009I use to be obsessed with DD. But afte moving out to the west coast and not having many around, i have tried other coffees that are 200 times better. But on that hot summer day, I from time to time crave a "medium ice coffee, regular"...and if you don't know what "regular" means, u don't know DDs.

Mon Jun 22 2009A weaker coffee than I like, but not terrible.
by bitchassjosh
Mon Jun 22 2009I dont know what it is about D&D, but it is actually really good. Sure they are known for their donuts, but they make their money with the coffee! And for good reason! I prefer that the Dunkin Donuts make it, however, if I take it home and brew a cup, it is still pretty good!

Sun Jun 21 2009I have tasted better.

Fri Jun 19 2009Well, Dunkin Donuts is supposed to be the anti-Starbucks. I think Starbucks coffee is better and Dunking Donuts' coffee seems to be too watery. I think if they still had the 'time to make the donuts' guy, it would be a little bit more reputable.

Fri Jun 19 2009Don't have DD where I live.

Thu Jun 18 2009Don't care for the taste of this brew.

Thu Jun 18 2009I have only had store bought Dunkin' Donuts coffee that I made at home. It was pretty good.

Thu Jun 18 2009It had a reputation for being "the best coffee out there" (at least according to some of the people I talked to) but I never could differentiate between Dunkin' Donuts coffee or that of the competition. I still would occasionally stop at Dunkin' Donuts to buy a donut or 2 on my way to work, along with the requisite cup of coffee, but as the donuts became progressively smaller and more tasteless, I stopped partronizing the place.

Thu Jun 18 2009Only when Mary isn't watching. But I really like those DONUTS!!

Mon Apr 06 2009It's ok to purchase ready made to go, it's affordable. As far as the supermarket price.......The price makes this coffee a tad over-rated. Flaver wise it's good though, just a but over-priced.

Wed Mar 18 2009The best damn coffee I have ever tasted. I can't find a DD in NOCO though. What a shame.

Sun Nov 23 2008Actually 0 stars. A couple of years ago DD had a drinkable cup of coffee. I'd get a donut, bagel ( well, what they call a bagel ) and have a nice snack. Now, I don't even go in a DD, I go without coffee if there is nothing else available. I don't drink coffee all day long so I really appreciate a GOOD cup in the morning. About the time DD started the ad campaign tell us that their coffee was so good, the quality hit a brick wall and fell on the floor. I notice that DD does not compare their coffee to Caribou, Seatttle's Best, New England Coffee, Peet's, or any other good brand of coffee. Even 7-11 has better coffee that DD. ( Please note that I did not mention *bucks. *bucks seem to used cheap beans and burn them to get that *bucks flavor ). In fact, I am meeting more and more people who do not like DD coffee. Does anyone know who roasts their coffee. I find it hard to believe that their cuppers ( if they have cuppers ) really know what they are doing. Maybe if you bu... Read more

Tue Jul 22 2008actually...one to rival starbucks..their coffee is pretty darn good!
by lena7358
Mon Jul 14 2008Being from Boston (where Dunkin' Donuts originates from) means I have a unnatural love for DD coffee. I no longer live anywhere near any locations, which is rather sad, because I'll take Dunkin' Donuts over Starbucks any day. Much cheaper and better tasting, in my opinion.

Sun Jun 08 2008I get it all the time. You can get a extra large for 2.33 (tax included) - Biggest cup I've seen yet - more the merrier!!! Great creamy taste, FRESH!, CHEAP! and my favorite part... They give you quality AND quantity!!! I'm not done with this quiz yet but my favorite coffee - donno if they will mention it on here is the new McDonalds Premium coffee. IF YOU CAN GET IT FRESH - IT's to die for!
