Sun Jan 24 2010Dunhill International is one of four brands I rotate. Full bodied but leaves a dry taste in my mouth. These are not the same as the Dunhill I smoked in the late 1970's. Still superior to american cigs but a bit flat when compaired to Sobranie Black Russians or Rothmans International. Rates a B+/- from my view

Thu May 14 2009I LOVE these...they have like a vanilla aftertaste and they are smooth....I like the lights...but they are really expensive....I can buy two packs for other brands for the cost of just one pack of these....so yeah...it's a rare treat....and I absolutely cringe when someone that wants to bum a cigarette asks me when I have these....always seems to happen and I actually turn into a b****...well not really...but yeah, they are expensive....but if I was a millionaire or something I'd buy like a carton of these and just smoke these.

Wed Jan 21 2009its a very good cigarette... they have a nice flavor to them and personally i like my cigarettes to be a little rough. ive come by too many cigarettes that are way too smooth for my tastes but dunhills are something i like to smoke

Sun Dec 21 2008Found one of these in an ash tray outside my favorite pizza place. It was just set down there like someone dropped it and decided it was contaminated. It was an ordinary cigarette, better than Nat Sherman but could have been better for the price that I have seen at the stores. I wouldn't 't recommend these, just go out and buy something else that isn't overpraised like these.

Wed Oct 29 2008The pack say that Dunhill is "the world's finest cigarette"...hm i don't think is true anymore.Dunhill is still a high quality smoke, but i think the tobacco that BAT use is not as top as before some years and the new pack's desighn, not as good as before.Tar & Nicotine level's are much lower now(10&0,9)than before(14&1,2).Dunhill was my brand, well ok i still smoke it sometimes and is a qood choice for someone who prefers luxury cigarettesupdate 10/29/08: After 2 years the "world's finest cigarette" is back! Almost the old blend(only the filter still sucks),almost the old pack design + plus is an additive free brand. 5/5

Thu Sep 04 2008Nothing too special. To me, they seem like a ordinary cig. with no distinctive flavor. I always go with Lucky Strike or Chesterfield unfilterd.

Mon Aug 04 2008Really overrated. I bought a pack of Dunhill Internationals and was really disappointed. Imagine Marlboro or any other generic cigarette, then make it a tiny bit smoother and that's Dunhill International. Also the tobacco isn't packed tight so they last half as long as other luxury cigarettes like Djarum. Really DIs are just an average cigarette in a fancy pack with a higher price tag.

Sun May 04 2008Best brand ever.

Tue Jan 30 2007The dunhill international brand is nowhere near the quality of a true dunhill. Most people that have rated these on this page have probably never smoked a true dunhill as you cant get them in the US. The true dunhill is by far the best cigarette in the world, smooth and stong.

Wed Dec 27 2006Dunhill was the best cigarette of the world, with the most classy pack! The B.A.T. decided to destroy that perfect tobacco product:changed the pack+tobacco,so today dunhill is just another cigarette

Thu Sep 14 2006Pure Virginia tobacco; smooth smoke with a decent flavour. Virginia tobacco isn't my favourite, but I do enjoy these on occasion.

Tue Mar 14 2006Great smooth cigarette, Dunhills are different from any other cigarette I've ever smoked. When you take one out of the box and smell it, it smells really nice. You can tell that they use high quality tobacco. Dunhill is a name that's well respected in the tobacco world as well as cologne and mens accesories(?!) The smoke is smooth and sweet and It's my cigarette of choice.

Sat Feb 11 2006Still Terrible for the obvious reasons, but best choice if you can't stay away from Cancer Sticks!

Sun Jan 22 2006Nothing special. I've had a pack or too, almost felt like I wasted 8 dollars. It just tasted like a sweet Marlboro Red. With fancy filters and box. Not worth your money. Their are much better british cigs then this.

Fri Jan 20 2006Mmmm...a little too rough. A cigarette vendor in Manila showed me that Dunhills pad their cigarettes with balsa wood to save money on tobacco.

Fri Dec 02 2005I didnt notice the major difference between these and so to speak a marlboro red. They are smoother than marbs, dont think they are the same but its not a very good smoke...seems harsh at times..the red pack were too harsh and the menthols are ok...stick with kools for menthols.

Sat Nov 26 2005dunhill king size filter tastes great, pretty smooth, it does feel a bit too light for a full flavour though but its still very good. i just like the flavour better then most of any other brands ive tried, doesnt have a chemical taste or anything, i was pretty surprised about the nicotine though( not that i care) it was 1.4-3.0. anyways best thing next to marlboros and sometimes better. and as for pureatuer, r u kidding a bit too strong? how long u been smoking like a week, these r actually a bit lighter then most other full flavours.

Fri Nov 25 2005Ah, Dunhill, makers of truly magnificant cigarettes. The regulars are bit strong, but smoking the Lights is nothing short of heavenly. They are a tad expensive, but that is expected given the quality of the tobacco. Worth the price if you can afford them.

Mon Oct 03 2005I guess I'm spoiled. Have tasted alot of the Yankee smokes and of course...they are what they are... Premium! Bought a carton of the English made Dunhill. Well, after all the hype, not what I thought they would be. Does not compare to ANY MARLBORO BRAND or any decent US brand. Good smoke though but still not like the American brands.

Sat Sep 24 2005Just bought a pack and fell in love all over again. Would be my everyday if I could afford it. Nice as a treat though.

Thu Aug 11 2005Good smoke, if a little hyped. I don't see what the big deal is about these. But they're good. You can definitely tell they're high quality.

Thu Apr 28 2005Dunhill International are the best smoke, but like with most cigs, be warned about the cheap duty free ones, not nearly so tasty.

Fri Aug 13 2004Ever since I was exposed to Dunhills I have been a fan. They have a certain complex taste to them. Sort of spicy with a hint of sweetness. They actually taste like real tobacco! I have found very few mass produced cigarettes that retain the smell of fresh tobacco. I once went past a plantation of the stuff and it was the sweetest most enticing aroma enveloping the atmosphere. I get sense-memories of that with every carbonised Dunhill. I often hear from the people selling them to me that I am the only non-old bag that they've ever sold Dunhills to. Apparently they have some image of being and old lady's smoke. I am an 18 year old boy and I say it doesn't matter as long as the taste is this good!

Mon Jun 21 2004I do not undertand why people smoke they know it will kill them they know there is a great chance of getting diseases it is a useless item that ruins your health and life

Fri Jun 18 2004Nice smooth great taste. Best British Cig,but they do cost more than American Cigs. What I smoke when I'm not smoking my pipe.
