I just moved to the area and went for my first appointment. The decor was funky and eclectic but the couches are very comfy. I was greeted by an adorable little hypoallergenic puppy (so cute and clean). The front desk was very polite and helpful...but the best part was my hygenist Mary was awesome! I have really sensitive teeth and gums and I left feeling not a pinch of pain and my teeth look awesome and feel so smooth:) You sit in a chair with a flat screen TV, they take some pictures, do the cleaning and exam while I watched Comedy Central. The Dentist came in immediately and didnt give you a creepy feeling (which dentists always seem to give me) and he told me straight up when I needed now, what is a good idea and what I should think about in the future...no BS sales pitch. I am very happy and have already referred 3 people there since my visit.

Excellent customer service, they're always trying to book me, asap. Love the TV's, great to catch up on the History channel while getting the teeth cleaned. Would definitely recommend...

I have seen both Dr. Williams and Drake over the past 5 years. I love the office, the staff, and the docs. It is very nice to have the television screens to pull down right in front of you while you are getting your cleaning. The office is extremely relaxing and very contemporary. My complaints are few in 5 years. They have called to reschedule on me 2 times very close to my appointment. Also, be sure to answer when the office staff calls to confirm your appointment, otherwise they will call your phone 5 times a day starting 3 days out to reach you to confirm you are actually going to make it to your scheduled appointment starting as early as 7:30 am. It is very disruptive for your business day.

Coming from someone with an irrational fear of dentists, Dr Williams and Dr Drake, as well as their entire office, go out of their way EVERY TIME to make me feel comfortable. Everyone is very nice and helpful, and on numerous occasions they have helped bring cost down for me when my insurance won't cover a certain procedure. I've been going for a little over a year and would strongly recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I recently went to williams and drake dentistry for a cleanup. They did a good job. The assistant was patient and helpful and took good care during the process. The doctor came by afterwards for a quick chat as well and to answer questions. I have had visits with both doctors, and they are both knowledgeable and helpful. It is also a quick minimum fuss in and out visit, and they did call me up and send me a note ahead of time as a reminder of the appointment. Thanks and keep up the good work!

A friend of mine referred me here because she said that it was a great experience and I definitely agree. This dentist office was really different with modern decorating and flat screen t.v.s I have never seen a doctor office like this before. I liked it because it seemed really young and different. The lady who cleaned my teeth was really nice and very good at it. The doctor was also very nice and took the time to talk to me. I will be going back and already have referred two of my friends.

I recently had my semiannual cleaning and check-up with Dr. Drake at Williams and Drake Dentistry. Unlike the lady with the toothache who went on and on about excessive x-rays, I actually felt comforted by the fact that they took that many. It was explained to me that these x-rays take more detailed pictures of two teeth at a time in order to clearly see any problems that may have been hidden from normal x-rays. As far as radiation exposure, that is ridiculous. You probably get more radiation exposure from riding on an airplane or using an outdated microwave. That should be the least of her worries. Anyways, I really enjoy the fact that Dr. Drake takes the time to pinpoint any problems and identify areas that may cause future concerns. I much prefer someone who spends time caring for their patients rather than shuffling them in and out the door like the majority of doctors seem to do these days. I think the prior reviewer must have confused Williams and Drake Dentistry for a different dental office, lol. As I walked into the practice, I thought that I was at the wrong place. The lobby looked trendy, funky and exciting. Of course, the paperwork was the same form after form, but when the girl that cleaned my teeth Camille brought me back for my cleaning, I saw that I had a flat screen t.v. that moved so I got to watch the Red Sox at the same time. The doctor was direct, honest, and friendly told me a few preventive things I could do to keep my teeth looking good. I definitely recommend and will be going back.

I had the opportunity to have my annual check up with Dr. Drake after moving here from out of state. I find that these reviews are very helpful after moving to a new place. Anways, I had a great experience and thought that everyone was professional, honest with me, and provided outstanding service. I have had many xrays from my previous dentist back home a couple years ago due to some moving of my teeth and they had to do both the panoramic view along with a ton of pictures. I know that the panoramic does not show everything and therefore in order to really see everything of each tooth they have to take the other xrays. I would much rather have someone do everything they can to make sure my teeth are healthy than just hurry through clients to get people in and out of the door. But, I guess I didn't really care so much about the time because I still got out of there within an hour which to me is pretty normal. I have been seeing Dr. Stuart Williams for over a year and recently, when I had missed an appointment and had to reschedule a dental cleaning, I was billed $150. When I called to follow up on the charges I was told that you had to give 24 hours cancellation/reschedule notice or I would be charged $75. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard...I missed an appointment for the first time in over a year and had to reschedule an appointment because of a business trip but I was told I was responsible for the bill. I referred 3 patients to Dr. Stuart's office, that would have not gone there other wise, but this was the thanks I got. I am going to take my business else where, and I would recommend you do the same.

I have been seeing Stuart Williams for more than 3 years now and I have never recieved so many compliments on my smile. Stuart's office is like walking into a spa and you feel like family as the staff learns your name and personalizes every visit. I hate going to the dentist at a general rule but this office is very warm and inviting and I have the opportunity to catch up on a little t.v. watching while in the chair. I had a great dentist in Orlando and wasn't sure who to go to for dentistry when I moved to Charlotte. I was fortunate enough to discover Stuart Williams, D.D.S. & Joe Drake, D.D.S., as everyone there is top-notch. I get professional, friendly service in a clean, modern environment. From the moment you walk into the office, you're extremely impressed by the decor and attention to detail. The staff is professional, attentive, caring, and --best of all-- intelligent. Last but not least, their rates are very reasonable and comparable. Why go anywhere else?

First, let me say that I've never experienced any type of customer service like this before. We are the consumer and if we are paying for a service, we should be treated accordingly. Dr. Drake is professional, respectful and treats each person (patient & staff) with major concern. The quality of his work is phenomenal! Everytime I go in there, which has been a lot recently, everyone acts like they've known you for years. Fabulous service, I even take my young daughter there! This denistry has my loyalty - too bad every other organization that takes my money doesn't have the same regard as them! If you are looking for a dentist, they are the best I've ever found. I didn't have any pain or anxiety once I was in the chair or when I walked out. It doesn't have that "old school" denist look (decoration is fabulous by the way) but if your searching for a place that will give you the "old school" quality and hospitality - this it it!

I had my first visit at this location, and it was not only a calming experience but wonderful! The staff truly cares and is courteous to their patients. The Dental Hygienist (Lakita) is amazing. She was so thorough and precise with my dental cleaning, and even explained some issues that I was having that I was not aware of. Dr. Stuart is such a detail-oriented doctor. He made sure that I received the care that I was in need of. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility, you will not regret it!

I was referred to Dr. Williams by a neighbor. I was very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. The office was refreshing including trendy decor, a spacious floor plan and flat screens in front of your dental chair for your viewing pleasure. I had a very short wait upon my arrival and the receptionist was very courteous. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth, Lakita, was very gentle, directive and did a very thorough job of explaining everything. Dr. Williams was unusually personable and candid. He had an engaging demeanor and a very down-to-earth, yet professional style of explaining and discussing his findings and recommendations.

I wouldn't go anywhere else in the region! Friendly flexible staff, dentists who do their best to work with you and aren't satisfied with anything less than the best. Beautiful and welcoming facility.

I had not been to the dentist in two years because I hate it mainly. I went to Dr. Drake and my tech was Jenn. They were both great! Told me of a gum thing that I guess I had for years and no one told me about. It is a simple fix! I thought this would lead to some sales technique or something, but nope..just an at-home remedy. The office is super hip, yet unpretentious in service. Would definitely recommend.

Yesterday was my first visit to Dr. Williams' office, and it won't be my last. His staff thoroughly checked my teeth, and found some issues that other dentists had never noticed. His staff is wonderful; they dont' rush you through your appointment, and explain as they go. My only complaint? Not enough time to enjoy all of the wonderful art on the walls. Maybe next time!

I have recommended Dr. Williams to at least five of my friends and coworkers who have all taken my advice and gone to him. They all came back feeling the same way that I do about him - we think he is just the best. Stuart and his staff are kind, considerate and make you feel like you are their favorite client. They really do care about the person behind the smile and that combined with his knowledge and expertise make for a calm and worry free experience. Any dentist can give you white teeth, but Stuart and his staff can give you a reason to smile!

Dr. Williams performs excellent dentistry work, which I'd expect from any dentist. But he and his entire staff far surpass expectations and make you feel comfortable, at home and--best of all--at ease. I have dreaded going to the dentist since I was a kid, but now I look forward to it!!!! Incredibly, there is no pain!!! I recommend him highly!!!!!

The sitting area in the office allows you to be relaxed and entertained until your appointment. The staff is always happy, friendly and they project a sense of welcoming that is settling and appreciative. The assistants introduce themselves to you when they come to greet you. They explain everything that is going on and are happy to answer your questions. No matter what your level of comfort is or isn't in a dentist's office...they will all make you feel safe, relaxed and appreciated. Dr. Williams work is excellent. He takes his time and is conservative, in that he won't do more than he has to, to make it right. You will be happy that you have him in your mouth!!!

From the moment you walk through the door any fear of a dentist's office is wiped away...by the colorful modern waiting room to the individual flat screen tvs at every chair...you are in for an experience like no other dentist in Charlotte. Dr. Williams and his staff are personable and knowledgeable on the latest techniques in general and cosmetic dentistry. My smile has never looked better and my teeth are in excellent health. Stuart takes the times to explain every procedure and puts you at ease. He makes you look forward to going to the dentist.....never heard that before...well you never been to a dentist like this before !!!

Working in television, my smile is very important. Thanks to Dr. Williams, I don't have to use my "fake smile" anymore! In addition to the beautiful and calming office, Dr. Williams and his staff are very friendly and personable and ACTUALLY care about their patients. This was by far my best dental experience to date. The office is amazing and Dr. Williams and his staff go out of their way to make their patients as comfortable as possible. I am actually looking forward to my next cleaning.

I love Stuats staff and office. Far from mundane. The decor is great, there are TV's to watch so you don't just sit in the chair while getting your services. Dr. Williams is also a great people person and is very engergic and fun to visit.

Each dental visit is a great experience for me. It is the whole experience that means so much, such as: Dr Williams listening, examining, and rendering a thorough exam and treatment plan, taking into account allergies and phobias, he is so sensitive to making you visit be as painless and fearless as possible. The staff is so accommodating and kind. The Office is fantastic, I love watching TV while they are working on me or I am waiting on them to come work on me next. It helps take my mind off of the phobia I had growing up from previous dental visits. I switched to Dr Williams approximately 4 years ago and I complained of mild pain during a routine exam. It happened to be on a tooth with a crown and root canal, which shouldn't have hurt me, which by the way I complained to me previous Dentist for 2 years over the same pain. I haven't been to a dentist in 6 years because of a horrible experience that I had while i was younger. This other dentist and hygenist scared me so much that I never went back. Well...I finally decided it was time to get my teeth checked again so I went to Dr. Williams, finding him through my insurance. Well...I have to say that that was the best move I ever made and even called my insurance to thank them. The hygenist I saw, Chris, was so friendly and helpful and didn't make me feel bad at all about not having had my teeth cleaned in years. She talked me through my fears and i felt calm as soon as i sat down with her. This might have been also from the office which is really cool and could double as a club with its atmosphere. I always look forward to my time a Dr. Williams office. It is as if I am catching up with old friends. Since the staff is so friendly, any dental fears seem to disappear. Dr. Williams has performed the most dental work on me than any other dentist. Every procedure is explained and carried out with efficiency. Dr Williams has provided me with excellent service and advice on the health & care of my teeth between my visits with him. Highly recommended.

This dentist is nothing short of superb! I came from the generation of people who are mostly afraid of dentists and dread going to them. Dr. Williams' office is pleasant to walk into, the staff are cordial and HE is phenomenal! When was the last time you looked at a dentist, asked a cosmetic question, and he said, "Yeah, you could do that , but I wouldn't recommend it." THAT is Stuart Williams. He looks out for the health of your teeth AND what's best for you overall. Now...lest you think that he's a slacker with regard to the appearance of the end product and your image, allow me to go you one further. He's a perfectionist if there ever was one. So, for those of us who have a tendency to become "cosmetically addicted" he won't allow it. He has the hutzpah to flat tell you what you should and shouldn't do AND the reasons behind it. .

Have you ever thought that maybe you are not supposed to smile? That it was not worth because your smile was horrible? That in every picture you should close your mouth and just smile the best you can? Well.. I did for most of my 30 years of life since i was unlucky with bad and fragile teeth. One day i met Dr. Williams and he told me I should go and see him. To make the long story short, I can now smile with confidence. Dr. Williams is an incredible dentist. One of the first things that strikes you is that his office is spacious, hight-tech, and was created with the comfort and care of the client in mind. His office staff is also extremely kind and courteous, and make it easy to use your insurance benefits, schedule appointments, etc. All of these things are great, but the most important thing is they type of care you receive and Dr. William's knowledge and expertise. He takes his time in assessing your situation, and sets aside time to sit down and talk to you to explain your treatment. Even if you're just getting a teeth cleaning, he makes the time to discuss any concerns you may have and talk about different treatment options. Every time I leave his office I feel like I've gotten personalized care and that they care about me as a patient, not just a number.
