Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium (East Carolina)

People who talk smack about a place they've clearly never been are just posers. Reality check. Just because a school doesn't have a football history like Michigan or Notre Dame doesn't mean it can't be a great college football experience for fans. ECU has some of the best tailgating in the country (and yes, I have gone to games all over the country). The fans are friendly even to fans from rival teams, and those that actually follow college football would know that ECU routinely goes to bowl games, and beats some of the more established football powers. I'm not saying take a road trip just to see a game, but if you're in the area during football season, catch a game. You'll have fun.

ECU has a football team?

a glorified high school stadium, and almost as good of a team. Get ahold of yourselves.
