Dorchester Park

In Short With its big, open, wooded space and twisting walking paths, this park is a nice place to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. At Dorchester's version of the Boston Common, you'll find a playground, a full basketball court, a tennis court and a lighted baseball field hidden way in back. The City of Boston parks and playgrounds are open all year but keep in mind that you'll need a permit to use the baseball and softball fields.
