Avoid the Shaker Heights store. The night manager up there is ghetto and is so rude! I called the regular manager up there to complain on the night manager Demetrius the general manager Ryan said nothing that was professional courtesy about his employee and offered no discount. He was very unhelpful. Refused to listen to my complaints and offered no apology. The food quality in the whole store is dismal to say the least. From further review I noticed several things that these people should have been shut down for over food safety. Dirty aprons, no gloves in food prep area same person working the front handling cash, visible dirty dishes. Avoid this store unless you want food poisoning and a rude ghetto person getting your food for you and cooking it!

Not just one thing wrong, everything is wrong here! I ordered a "fresh mozzarella" pizza thick crust. What I got was a product akin to thick cardboard with a poor quality cheese-substitute product and canned mushrooms. I am not exaggerating to say I've had better frozen microwave pizzas.

I love Donatos and wish there was one here in the RTP area.

I really like Donato's, and at one point I hated their food. But the location I go to (Mentor, OH) I always have a great experience. My gaming group goes there frequently and they are always pleasant and get us our food in a reasonable time too. I didn't used to be a fan of provolone either but it tastes really good on their pizza, and I love the thin edge-to-edge pizza! The pepperoni duo is also really good! But anyway, my experiences have all been good and for the the food is really good now (they must have done something different since that time I ate their food a long time ago). Definitely give them a chance!

I had this crap a few times when I lived in The Midwest. Aside from Chicago, Italians are apparently an endangered species in the Midwest, because no one there can cook Italian food. I would rather have my pizza made by fucking Burt Young while he's drunk at 4:13 AM than this shit. If I was a king, I would have royal tasters to make sure my pizza is only made by someone who is more Italian than I am.

Last night I ordered the new hand tossed pizza. After spending $13.00 + a tip it was the worst pizza I have ever had. I love Donatos regular pizza, so I thought this would be just as good....wrong. It was awful!!! I will never order it again.

Pizza was an hour late, then they forgot the sour cream. Offered to remake it and send it out in another hour! High Street Hamilton. Avoid this branch at all costs, unless you want to wait 2 hours on a weeknight for your food. Other branches may be better?

Bleh. Tastes as bad as it looks. Cardboard thin, dry, and the cheese/sauce taste was odd. Then again I hate chain brand pizza and only order single shop pizza. No wonder my school got them to serve it to us for graduation.. It was free. -In NC

After two visits, to be sure that I didn't just hit an "off night", my thoughts were confirmed. Quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever had. Never going back ther!

This pizza is ok, but I am not a big fan of the way they put it together, nor the way they do their onions.

Omg....Donato's sux bigtime. The pizza tastes and smells a lil funky and I just found out why that is. They use provolone cheese instead of mozzarella, which in turn makes the pizza smell like dirty, sweaty socks.....ugh.

Donato's Pizza is absolutely HORRID! The sauce was so bland and devoid of taste, and reminded me of that cheap tomato sauce that comes in a can. Their cheese didn't taste too fresh as well. Most 'NY style' mom and pop type pizzeras blow Donato's away ten times over! If you know what good tasting pizza is, stay away from Donato's. One of the worst tasting pizzas ever!

Has its fans, although reputation varies. Known for their thin, specially-seasoned crust and their edge-to-edge plentiful toppings. Not as filling, in comparison to deep dish. Nice for a change, but I always come back to a couple home-based pizzerias here in Cincinnati (Dewey's and LaRosa's) which are more highly regarded here than any large chain.

Donatos Pizza has been sold back to its original owners after several years of McDonald's ownership.

I am from Philly and we have the most pizza joints per capita in the USA....that said I think all chains suck and Donatos is not pizza. You might as well go to the supermarket and buy a frozen Ellios pizza! Support independent pizza places and leave chain stores behind.

The pizza was very good, but everytime I go in there they are SOOO rude. I think that someone needs to give those workers a lesson in manners.

Hahahaha...call me whatever you think suits, but this chain makes me laugh. While I've never heard of it, it sounds like a cheap rip-off of Domino's. Yup. That's all I have to say about this.

Donato's is possibly the best of the delivery pizza chains. They have a dynamite thin crust pizza and very high quality toppings. I'm also very impressed with the fact that their pizza is not greasy like Pizza Hut, nor terribly sweet like Papa John's. However, I'm saddened to hear that all the Atlanta area Donato's are closing shop. I don't know why. It has been my favorite and I hope it is only temporary.

Some of the best take-out pizza that I have ever tasted. Nice thin but tasty crust and lots of toppings. I usually like pizza with everything best but Donatos is so generous with their toppings it seems like it has everything when it may only have cheese a pepperoni. I have never seen a pizza with side to side pepperoni like theirs. Another nice touch I haven't seen elsewhere is the way they somehow to get the pepperoni kind of crispy on the edges. Mmmmmmm!
