I had a real hard time finding a cat groomer in the city. Finally, I found Missy at Doggie Style. Missy groomed my cat exactly how I wanted. I dont like when groomers leave a huge neck on my cat, but she made sure to blend the head for me. I love Doggie Styles , and I will continue to have my cat groomed there.

This store is so great...the people are super nice and have the most interesting things for dogs and catsthat you don't find anywhere else. I took my baby there for grooming and he was done in the time frame promised and the cut was exactly what i asked for and the price was about what was expected. They have my repeat buisness.

I just found out that Doggie Style dog walking is now under the name Philly pet services, please be careful with this company, a new name doesn't change the fact that they are the same people who don't care about the services they offer or the people using them.

new people and situations. From the moment out groomer met our little monster she made her feel at ease and I could tell our typically scared of eve3ryone dog was totally relaxed and we felt good about leavin her to get groomed, the groomer offered us to come back and watch but we felt it would be a good experience for her to bond alone with someone new. Needless to say when we came back, not only was our doggie smelling and looking great but she was licking the groomers face and was so excited to be clean! I would highly recommend this store to bring your dog and my advice especially fi your doggie needs a little extra tlc would be to ask for Marissa (not sure if I am spelling it right), we also got some fun treats and toys! Thannks for the great expereince!

My Yorkie needed to get groomed. His usual groomer sold their business, so I figured I?d give Doggie Style a try. At ten in the morning I dropped him off at the Doggie Style on Passyunk. When the groomer came for my pup, my puppy wagged his little tail and was excited to see her. He still had his leash on. The groomer pulled him up by his neck, before holding his body to pick him up. He was pretty calm, but she proceeded to do the Dog Whisperer ?sts? and strike his neck. That should have been the signal to take my dirty mongrel back home. The groomer told me that he would be there for 2-4 hours, but they would call me 15 minutes before he was finished. Five and a half hours passed by, no call. I was back in the neighborhood and stopped back into the store. When I got inside, the cashier was talking to one of her friends for an additional ten minutes. Apparently they were going to see the new James Bond movie and it was a big deal because she?s a snob and only watches anime m... Read more

When I go shopping for my dog, I expect the staff to be nice and knowledgeable. I don't expect the staff to argue with me about what kind of dog I have. I was shopping in the rittenhouse location and talking to the man behind the counter about chew toys and what my dog needs. I have a miniature pinscher, a pretty common breed. He tried to tell me that my dog was a small doberman (WRONG!!!) When I told him that min pins are actually a cross between a dachshund and an italian greyhound, he stood there arguing with me. I think I'm going to stick with other pet stores from now on. I recommend Chic Petique or BoneJour, both seem to know dog breeds and give sound advice.

I made an appointment to get my dog groomed at doggie style because my regular groomer was booked. What a mistake! The butcherd my dog. I had an appointment at 9, and wanted for the staff to get there. The groomer showed up at 5 after informimg me that the girl with the key ahd over slept, and she was running late. The groomer took my dog and waited outside with her, and I left. I specifically tols the groomer don't go short just a little trim. I told her this twice. When I called to see if the dog was ready, the lady kept calling me by other name. I had to tell her my name several times(this was the one who didn;t show up at 9 because she over slept). When I saw the dog I couldn't believe it. It lloked like she shaved her, and around her but there were chunks of hair mising. The cut was all uneven. My dog looks horrible. I guess it was opposite day because I specifically siad not short, and she did the complete opposite. Horrible job and horrible customer service. Nev... Read more

i went to doggies style last week for the first time since i moved to the city in december 07, i have a bichon, and i heard many bad things about that store, from the owners, to the over priced, to the made in china merchandise. after bringing my dog to three other grooming salons in the area, i was never pleased with the jobs they did. so i figured i'd give doggiestyle a try being that i live a block away. so i took my bichon there and the groomers name was Hahn? or Han, but he was very nice but looked really young, he seemed to understand what i wanted right off the bat. after a couple hours i picked up my dog and man! what a wonderful job, i have never been so pleased before. he looked like a show dog, didnt just shave him like every other groomer, but actually scissored him, like a bichon should be. i had to wait liek 4-5 hrs to pick him up, but it was worth it, i guess all that scissoring took some time. so i payed for the groom, and after that i took a quick stroll around the st... My doggie loves this place. A bit pricey but carries good selections. They have a few stores in other center areas too.

We take our dog to doggie style to be groomed and they've done a great job so far. The take their time and are thorough, listen to our wishes/concerns, make any adjustments to a cut necessary, etc. We really liked the cut that Han gave our pooch. The front desk/scheduling folks are really professional and nice. The price for the grooming is comparable to other shops. The price for items in the store is outrageous. I'd never shop there for actual products. Rittenhouse Pet Supply is so much better.

I don't understand any of the reviews below. I use the same walking service that Doggie Style uses, Sniffles and Friends, and I've never had a bad experience. The same girl walks my dogs each day and also lives at our house while we are away. I also use Doggie Style for grooming. Mimi is always very friendly and will immediately fix anything I find wrong with their cuts. And I've been coming to this store for a year and have only seen 3 people that consistently work at this location so apparently they don't change employees often. The ones that are there are helpful and never pushy. They give my girls so much attention.

We tried doggie style's dog walking service for at least 6 months, thinking it would get better - eventually we'd have a consistent daily walker. After having over 7 different dog walkers, we gave up. I didn't sign up for the service to have a different person in our house each week. Now I'm with another service and am very happy.

I shop here all the time. My dogs and cat love the products (toys, treats and food) that I buy here. The people always try and be helpful. My dogs are always welcomed by the staff. The grooming is always good also. I have never been unhappy with anything. I read the comment the person who could not use store credit in either store however I was able to use my gift card in either store. I highly recommend Doggie Style.

I cant stand Doggie style!!! the people that work there are sooooo pushy and always try to get me to buy things that I dont need and dont have a clue about dog nutrition. The owner is a rude money hungry fat man and does not care about his customers or their pets. He only wants money and does not care about dogs, let alone cats!! I could hear him yelling at one of his employees. One time I bought expired food and all I got was a store credit!!! Each time I go in there, theres a new employee!!!! I never ever see the same people twice and will never step foot in that place again!!! I have a pugg and he used to get a lot of love and the employees new his name and now they try to get me to buy a t-shirt for him!! They never remember me or my dog!!

I shop at the Doggie Style Boutique on Spruce St all the time and I love it! I especially love the attention my dogs get when I bring them in to pick out new toys. I have had zero problems with returning items that I have purchased. I highly recommend Sniffles 'n' Friends who do all of the dog walking and pet sitting stuff for Doggie Style. The company is attentive, understanding and absolutely loves animals!

These "animal people" do not want to pay their staff fairly and are intentionally trying to open up more businesses within the immediate vicinity of established neighborhood pet-stores to put them out of business! They are actually saying this to these store owners! Unbelievable! They should be put out of business for this unfair treatment . Th rumors floating around this city on their establishments and how they treat people are spreading. it is only a matter of time.

Usually when someone says the service was bad you can write it off to one sales person, but at Doggie Style (all of them) it?s the store policy that is horrible. I needed two harnesses for my mother's dogs. I went to Doggie Style because it was close to where I live and I was in a hurry. I bought two very cute harnesses but when I got them home I realized they were the wrong size. I took them back to the store the next day, with receipt, tags and having never been used. I was told I could only get store credit, except they didn't carry the larger harness size and even thought its on their web site they can't get it (my credit was not good on the web site). The sales girl called to the other store and told me that they had larger sizes. She gave me store credit and I went to the other store. Except they don't honor credit between stores. My credit was no good. So I am stuck with no harness and a worthless hundred dollar credit at a horrible store.

We paid Doggie Style (Spruce Street location) to look after our cats while we were on vacation. Rather than having just one person take care of the animals, they assigned 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE to do it (ostensibly because it was the holidays and they were short staffed). The last of the 3 people DID NOT SHOW UP, so when we got home both food and water were bone dry. We don?t know exactly how long they were without food and water, but both cats were dehydrated and one had lost a significant amount of weight. We called Doggie Style to tell them, and they ended up firing the caretaker who did not show. But it has been 1 month and they have STILL NOT REFUNDED OUR MONEY or returned our repeated calls to settle the matter. In the few conversations we have had with the owner and her staff, they have been rude and dishonest. If you value your pets? lives (which clearly you do or you wouldn?t be reading this), please think twice about using Doggie Style as they are disorganized at best, flagrantly... Read more

Shop for stylish dog-carrier shoulder bags, schedule grooming appointments and sign up rambunctious dogs for training classes.
