Mon Jul 25 2011I just purchased my second item of defective merchandise (Jakata Tales). There seem to be quality-control problems with DesiKnowledge vendors. Also, there is a big difference between English subtitles and English audio. "Krishna" seems to have only subtitles and not English audio, making it useless for my young children.

However, I would really appreciate if sample pages of some of the books would be posted so that we can better judge the contents and/or level of the book(s)prior to making purchases.

Mon Jul 25 2011My only issue with the books I received is that when you state that they are in Hindi/English there should be a specification if it is written in Hindi or phonetic Hindi. My kids nor I speak written Hindi so most of the books we cannot translate.

These were comics I had read when I was growing up and I wanted my children to learn about their culture and heritage while growing up in the US. Not only did the comics arrive promptly in a nice packaging, but the extras like the personalized letter made it a great shopping experience on the whole. Your prices are pretty reasonable too, not to mention free shipping for orders worth $25 and above. Keep up the good work. I plan on ordering from you in the future...a lot..
