Sat May 16 2009I took my wife and daughter here during spring break. Whow. We each ordered a different kind of steak. Each came out exactly as ordered and at exactly the same time! The steaks were a lot bigger than expected and we had to ask for doggie boxes. (We finished it off the next day!) Great wine selection. Great service. My only complaint is the table are too close together and if the people next to you do not bump you, the waiter does as he passes between tables. They need to rearrange the seating. Ask for a corner table to avoid this problem.

Tue Mar 17 2009I'm so sad to have wasted our special night out here. It was absurdly overpriced for medium quality food, and the service was kind, but untrained (who uses a crumb sweeper to sweep crumbs onto the customer's shoes??)

Fri Nov 21 2008I had dinner here last Wednesday with three friends. We had the Ceasar salad for our appetizer that was prepared in front of us. We shared the sauteed garlic mushrooms, which was very good. I had the bone-in ribeye for my entree. It was flavorful & very good. The service was excellent, but the atmosphere & decor was subpar.

Thu Jul 24 2008Delmonicos is one of my favorite steakhouses in Las Vegas. We go there everytime we are in Vegas. The food, service and atmosphere is truly wonderful. We order salad, steak, lobster, and sides (shared) and dessert. To some people is it a little pricey but it is very much worth it. I highly recommend the martinis and the Cosmopolitan is delicious! We also had a bottle of wine with dinner and was excellent as well.

Tue Apr 29 2008There is no doubt this restaurant has slipped. The first 3 times I went there was fantastic. The food was outstanding and the service even better. This last time the service was only fair, and the food unacceptable. One of the four of us had Salmon, ordered medium, came out raw. Not even medium Rare. My Veal Chop was about as tender as a Sirloin at the grocery store, and the sides just weren't what you would expect. The creamed spinach was horrible, I don't know what they did to it, but it was bad. Asparagus came without hollandaise sauce, or butter, nothing!! The waittress dissappeared when the food arrived, and came back about half way through the dinner and ask half hardly if everything was OK. At that point it was too late to say anything. I can't stand to have to send food back to the kitchen because the chef can't prepare an entree as ordered. It will come back over cooked if you do. They only get one chance with me. There is an expectation that comes with $40 entre... Read more

Sun Apr 06 2008After reading prior reviews, I was hesitant to dine at Delmonicos. We tried it anyway, and I felt an appropriate review was necessary. This is a great restaurant in every way. The food, service and atmosphere were what one would expect for a Five Star restaurant. The service is professional, but not stuffy. It is not an inexpensive restaurant. Plan on spending $100 per person, but it will be worth it. Don't leave Vegas without dining at Delmonico's!!!!!!!!!

Sun Feb 24 2008I wanted to try this place based on the reputation of Emeril Lasasse. To my dissapointment, this place did not measure up to even meeting basic expectations. My boss and I ordered steaks that were not prepared at the correct tempature and a tastless appetizer that was billed as a signature dish (Barbecue Shrimp). I do not go to places based on the name or alleged reputation, I go based on the tase and quality of the food. While I still like Emeril Lagasse, I will not revisit Delmonico Steakhouse.

Mon Apr 30 2007I was recently in Vegas with my girlfriend for a 5 day vacation. We went to Delmonico before going to see Blue Man Group at the Venetian. The service at Delmonico was spectacular. It almost seemed as if there was a 1:1 ratio on patrons to wait staff. I never had a problem with my water not being refilled. In fact, as I was commenting to my girlfriend that my glass was 2/3 full, the emptiest it'd been the whole night, I saw a hand come out of nowhere and refill my glass. I ordered the Filet Mignon and a side of Broccoli and I was not let down by the taste. While my steak was not as tender as hers, it had the taste I was expecting. For desert, she had the Double Chocolate Fudge Cake Homemade Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Malted Creme Anglaise and I had Bob?s Butterscotch Creme Brulee with White Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies. All in all a delicious meal. One of the best I've ever had. I would say that the dress code is not strictly enforced as I saw some t-shirts in the restaurant. ... Read more

Mon Nov 27 2006The service was not attentive. We were passed over for the bread service serveral times. Water was only refilled once. The tomatoe salad was soggy and the cream spanich was so salty it was not edible. The steak was charred and arrive warm. My husband was not offered a refill on his wine. This was certainly not the BAM expericence i was seeking. Emeril this place needs work.

Mon Nov 20 2006We went to Delmonico's with a group of friends. One of the gals recommended the place and made the reservations. The table we sat at was not very comfortable and the ambiance was not impressive. I ordered the filet mignon which wasn't the quality I expected for being a steakhouse. The sides were really good. But for the price and quality of food, there are plenty of other places to have a really good steak.

Mon Nov 20 2006The biggest thing I have to say about Delmonico is to go for the New Orleans influenced dishes that you would expect from Emeril and you won't be disappointed. The basic steak is pretty good but probably not up to par with the prices (in my opinion) - go for the flavors and fantastic preparation of the barbecue shrimp, gumbo, foie gras, etc. and look for some of the steak specials with more cajun/creole influences in the preparation. For dessert, their bread pudding is the best I've ever had and the wine list by the glass is excellent so you can find a perfect pairing for every course.

Mon Nov 06 2006i have had the very best steak of my life at delmonico, but i have also had a very average steak there also!! this is a beautiful room and the service is outstanding!! the sides and apps are allways great and they really treat you like royalty! two oustanding meals and one good but not great meal, you should get the bone in ribeye dry aged , if it is one of the good nights you will be blown away!! it is that good.

Tue Oct 31 2006The steaks here are wonderful. Emerils prawns were a great start as well. The place is rather minimalist which was a nice change from all the glitz and lights everywhere in Vegas. The service was great and I would definitely go back.

Fri Sep 08 2006It's pricey but worth it if you want more then 1 server waiting on your every need. The Filet melts in your mouth and the food is just delicious. If you get the chance pamper yourself here it's so worth it!

Tue Jun 20 2006In Short An enormous glass-enclosed wine rack, vaulted ceilings, French doors and track-lighting lends a luxuriously romantic mood to this beautiful restaurant. Well-heeled patrons relax in tall leather chairs at white-clothed tables. Starters include Creole boiled gulf shrimp cocktail, served over baby greens with a piquant horseradish and tomato dipping sauce. Beef, of course, is the main draw, from the juicy cheeseburger served at lunch to the succulent 20-ounce New York strip steak.

Sat Apr 22 2006Yes I spent $100 on this meal and this was absolutly the best meal of my life. Everyone in my pary of eight was impressed, not only with the service but the food also. Everything was cooked to perfection and was well worth the price. The service was also excellent.

Thu Feb 02 2006Seated quickly, perfect timing for appt, salad, dinner and dessert. Rib done perfectly. Received side dish I didn't order, left it on the table for free (didn't take it back like other revewer) which was appreciated. Only issue was the immense cost of the wine list. Not much of a bottle under $100. Now wait a minute, that tells me this is an expense account places, spending corp money, not for mere mortals. Overall very good, but plan on about $200-250 (w/cocktials, no wine). Been there once, enough.

Sun Jan 22 2006My wife and I chose this restaurant as our "nice dinner out" on our recent trip to Vegas. We are not big drinkers and did not order any wine. The waitress immediately changed her persona and became cold. As soon as the table next to us was occupied by people ordering wine we did not exist to our wait staff. On top of that the food was average at best, not at all worth the money.

Tue Dec 27 2005Thank goodness the steak is nothing like the service, as the service leaves something left to be desired. The prices are about as high as you can imagine for a 5 star steakhouse. This place is still one of the best steakhouses in town but purely for steaks.

Sun Oct 23 2005How this resturant can brag it is a great place for groups is beyond me. We made a reservation at one week in advance for a Thursday evening. We were a party of 13 celebrating a family reunion and 21st birthday. The staff refused to seat us together and we had to sit at 2 separate tables. We should have left right than and there. The food was mediocre-the flavor of the beef drown in barbeque sauce of some type and the potato in horseradish dressing. Tasty, but overdone. The service was adequate but lacking experience. A waitress placed a side of brocolli on our table. Fortunately, no one sampled it because several minutes later, the waitress removed it from our table stating that it was put there "by mistake." We watched her put it on another table. If you insist on blowing money, go to the craps table.

Fri Jul 22 2005We were so excited to try this place, b/c it is owned by Emeril. In the end I was very disappointed. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was excellent, but the food just didn't match up. The bone in rib eye was very tender, but very low in flavor. The pan seared pork chop tasted good, but the shrimp were low quality, and the bourbon flavored smashed potatoes were just awful. The bourbon was just so overpowering, it made the potatoes taste bitter. For the price and reputation, I thought the food would just be unbelievabley good. Sad to say that its not.

Sun Jun 05 2005This restaurant allows for the focus of the experience to be on the created cuisine rather than the decor. The tastefully decorated interior ceilings and wine wall give this location a softened ambience. The chef's are more than creative with the various combinations of spices and ingredients used to paint their master pieces. One of my favorite desserts of theirs is the vanilla cream Brule. They currently have a chocolate one on the menu which doesnt come close to the vanilla cream Brule. Another favorite is the homemade potato chips with drizzled truffle oil and sprinkled with parmesan cheese, yummy!! I love the fact that you can have a pairing with each course, even dessert. As a local I truly love visiting Delmonicos and look forward in Emeril's next Las Vegas venture.

Sun May 29 200510 in our party.Only two steaks cooked right! Bad experience! Kept us waiting by the bar but when we were finally seated we saw lots of empty tables! GO figure.

Wed Apr 20 2005My filet mignon was raw (blood red) when I ordered medium rare. My date's steak was over done and charred. We expected a lot more from Emeril's name. Hardly seems to justify the big price tag. Most people eating there are older. It has nothing to do with the price, more of the older atomosphere I guess. We felt a little out of place since we were the only young couple there.

Tue Mar 29 2005The dim lighting of the restaurant creates a romantic, hushed feel. Most patrons in the restaurant when I visited were in casual suits, cocktail dresses, or theater-going attire. The waiter did not bother telling us about the specials because we "looked like we knew what we wanted," and didn't check to see if I wanted my wine glass refilled. Our food was good, but didn't live up to its "best Steakhouse" reputation. The Filet Mignon was tender and cooked exactly as I specified (medium rare), but the crusted top gave it a drier feel than one would want in a Filet Mignon. Dishes are served with little fanfare; no artistic flourish is given to the presentation, and food is served on plain, everyday dishes.

Thu Mar 24 2005Not happy with the service or steak. I not sure if I my expectations were to hgih but at these prices I want more. I felt cheated when I left th restaurant. I asked for a medium rare steak. The one I received was well done...twice. The server seemed to get lost frequently. It took forever to be seated. I expected better service and juicy steak cooked Emeril style...boy was I disappointed.

Thu Mar 10 2005Went with a couple of friends (3 couples total) on a Monday evening. The decor and ambience was nice...modern and comfortable. Ordered cocktails instead of wine and had a great martini. Service left alot to be desired, there seemed to be a communication gap between the server and his assitants on more than one occasion. Those who ordered steaks were pleased with them and raved. Those who ordered anythng else were not happy. Both the Pork chops and the Red Snapper were VERY dry....even the fries served with the snapper were dry. The lobster was cold and slightly over cooked. Would not go back or reccommend.

Mon Nov 29 2004Our friends took us to Delmonico after our wedding. They had reservations, and we were seated right on time. The food was excellent, we had the ribeye with creole tomato glaze, perfectly medium well as ordered. They gave us a free appetizer, some kind of puff pastry w/bacon. Our servers were attentive, the service was great. The wine they recommended was excellent (Twomey Vineyards Merlot). We each ordered a different dessert, and they were all fabulous. It was perfect, I could not have asked for a better wedding dinner.

Wed Oct 27 2004Recently had dinner at Delmonico's. Save your Money. The food was rediculously OVERpriced. The service was average, at best, and being generous with that. With the prices they charge, the food should be outstanding as should the service. YOU CAN DO MUCH BETTER at other establishments.

Tue Jul 27 2004I have been to Del's several times over the past 5 years. Everything is the freshest tasting and seasoned just right. The bone in ribeyes called a cowboy, and the delmonico cut is of course the boneless ribeye. Mouthwateringly aged to perfection

Sat Jul 24 2004This was the best food my boyfriend and I have ever ate. Lunch was a great value. We were seated right away. All the waiters were very professional and friendly. The food came fast, and was absolutley delicious. I'll make sure to come back when I return to vegas. Order the bbq salmon :) I LOVE EMERIL.

Mon Jul 12 2004Delmonico is definitely one of the best restaurants in all of Las Vegas (and there are many fine choices) but a few things detracted from an otherwise perfect evening. Firstly, even though we had reservations we waited around 45 mins for a table. Sure we enjoyed a nice cocktail or two and we were a large group but the place didn't seem to be that crowded when we went. The food was outstanding. The spinach salad with bacon and fried mozzerella was the tastiest (not the healthiest) salad I have ever eaten. If you are going to order a steak (and you should), be sure that it is cooked to your liking because mine was slightly overcooked. Also, stray from any "fancy" steaks that are stuffed with some sort of filling and just stick to the basics. Dessert was great and the place itself is very very impressive.

Wed Jun 02 2004The Delmonico Steakhouse had bad service. I never once had a server refill my drinks or ask if I needed anything. I had to search for my waiter to order my food. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium-well and it was served well done. I hate well done steaks.

Tue May 25 2004Food and presentation is great, portions are hearty, and the staff is phenomenal. I like to cook and I was watching intently as our waiter was preparing our Caesar salad, which he noticed. The next time he came back to our table he brought back a hand written recipe for me to take home. Great experience!

Fri May 07 2004The Food,Service and Atmosphere here is In my opinion the best in the world Our meals have always been excellent . We Live in Canada and make the trip 2 - 3 times a year only to have dinner at Delmonico's. Emeril is an amazing man .

Thu Mar 11 2004I have been to many a steak house from NYC to San Diego, from Boston, Mass to South Padre Island, Tx. and I have never had a dining experience like the one I had at Delmonico's. from the moment you walk in the door till the time you leave is an experience. Emeril knows what he is doing.

Thu Mar 11 2004I had the best steak in my entire life and I know good steak, I am from Montana and we butchered our own. I still have drool from that night and I can still taste it in my mouth. I also have to mention the service is spectacular. Grade A. What a fine establishment. They really make you feel at home.

Thu Mar 11 2004My girlfriends mom and I ate there on march 6th and it was one of the most memoriable moments of our trip. The food, service, and ombiance were all wonderful and we told the staff that we had a concert to get to and they made sure we were out on time. When we go back to vegas this restraunt is at the top of our list.

Thu Mar 11 2004This superb restaurant is second to none! The service alone cannot be topped in our city of many very, very fine upscale dining establishments. The food is always top-notch. I defy anyone to find ANYTHING wrong about this establishment. We always refer friends who are in town, particularly those staying at the Venetian, to dine at Delmonico's.

Thu Mar 11 2004For V-Day this year, my boyfriend took me to this wonderful establishment. I heard it was the best but seen that for myself. My boyfriend had the whole night planned out and the waiters helped him. Nothing but great service and wondeful food. If yor trying to impress, this is the place to do it. Will be a night I will never forget thank Delmonico's Steakhouse. Try the pecan pie!!!

Thu Mar 11 2004I was rather disappointed after dining at this restaurant for my birthday last year. I ordered a medium-rare steak and the steak that they brought out was well-done. Our waiter rarely came back to check up on us. No follow-thru service! To top the night off, my husband and I pre-ordered a cognac chocolate souffle, which takes 20 minutes to prepare, and after patiently waiting, we found out that they some how gave our souffle to another table by mistake! So that means another 30 minutes for our dessert! And, no complimentary wine or dessert to make up for the poor service that we received!

Thu Mar 11 2004When you think of Emeril, you think of great cuisine. We had the chance to try his other restaurant in the MGM and this was excellent. We sat at the bar so it was cheaper. If your into seafood and cajun this is the place. (Do they do weddings) However, I can say that the service at Delmonico's was much better than the MGM. I will give Delmonico credit on trying to make the atmosphere intimate. But when you require a dress code, please try to inforce to everyone. The food was just average (all a la carte) for the price your paying your definately not looking for average. We also visited his other restaurant in Orlando The one thing my finace was looking for on the menus was the Banana Foster's..no luck. Sorry for forgetting the names of the restaurants..when your dealing with Emeril's who needs a fancy name.

Sat Mar 06 2004ENJOYED THE ATMOSPHERE AND SERVICE BUT, THE CHEF HAS TO LEARN HOW TO COOK. MY WIFE HAD THE 2LB. LOBSTER, DESHELLED. WHEN SHE TURNED IT OVER, THE BOTTOM WAS BLACK! SHE SENT IT BACK AND THEY CLEANED IT. THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE SERVING IT. SHE LOST HER APPETITE! I HAD THE FILET MIGNON, MEDIUM WELL. IT WAS COOK MEDIUM. SENT IT BACK AND I THINK THE CHEF PASSED IT OVER THE FIRE BECAUSE IT WAS STILL RAW IN THE MIDDLE. FOR THIS PRICE($165.00) I EXPECTED EXCELLENCE AND GOT BELOW GRADE .
