Thu Nov 04 2004Dell was a great company 5 years ago- I loved my Pentium III-it was a wonderful machine. I bought a Dell P4 a little over 2 years ago- poor service all the way around- tech support was confused and they made critical mistakes- the PC worked well, and was reliable- but Was SLOW- and IMHO was cheaply made. I decided to buy a lowly Celeron processor- a Gateway 2.8 GHZ- with 512 megs of ram it is faster then the Dell P4 at 2.0 GHZ with 768 megs of ram. I liked the better then Dell customer service and more crisp and prompt tech support. The Machine is also better made/more solidly built then the Dell as well.

Tue Dec 02 2003I am on my thrid Dell. I have purchased over 200 Dells for my company. All is good. Great company and support. I get the add on parts when I need them. Out of 200+ PC I have recieved over the last two years, maybe 3 had a problem. Mainly wires that came lose during shipping. No big deal.

Mon Jun 02 2003I just bought a Dell, got a great deal on the price, and I'm very happy with the machine overall. The sound card that came with the machine was terrible (if they say you are getting an SB0203, don't get it!), however, it was corrected by customer support very quickly.

Fri May 30 2003Dell is the first brand name computer I have purchased. My previous seven computers were custom built to max speed and power. Dell builds dependable computers that "DO NOT" have down time for machine failure. I currently have a computer lab with Gateway, Compaq, HP and Dell computers. My repair room is littered dead or dying computers made by Gateway, HP, and Compaq while I have never opened a Dell in four years.

Thu Jan 25 2001Very reliable. Excellent specifications/options. Not to mention that all Dells come with a 3 year warranty and excellent customer support. All in all, an excellent investment.

Tue Jan 09 2001Now Dell's on the other hand are for both people who know about computers and people who don't. You can fully customize your computer before you buy it on their web site. And since the components are separate (and top quality as well) you can always upgrade. Their customer service is one of the best in the business as well.

Thu Oct 26 2000Dell has excellent tech support and always replaces defective parts on the occasions they are faulty. Although a bit expensive you get what you pay for- a high quality and strong machine.

Fri Jul 14 2000This computer is a very solid computer. The price is reasonable for what you get, and the customer service is unbeatable. It is fast, and the operating system interacts with the hardware fine.

Fri Jun 23 2000This computer is indestructable. Compared to other models like Gateway and Compaq, Dell is cheaper, has better customer service, and offers more options. I have had zero problems in two years and my computer still competes with more modern ones.

Mon May 15 2000The best part of this product is the price and the technical support from the manufactuare. The price is lower than other computers with the same performance. The design of their desktop is nice too. The technical support line is easy to reach once I have problem with the computer since it's not too busy.
