Agreed on the big bouncy boobs portion of the last reviewer. This game seems to dive further and further into a "lets make our women look like bonified busty sluts" era. In comparison though fighting wise, I still think the Tekken series is by far better than this :) Hell, Street Fight owns this as well! Better Gameplay, moves, character choices and stories!

Not to big a fan on the vs game genera, but I am a big fan of big hooters. If you like beating up chicks with big bouncy boobs you should really be playing this game.

This is the best fighting game on the 360, and it's one of the cheapest games too! great fighting, great graphics, great gameplay ! Having bought Soul Calibur 4 and Street fighter 4 I come back to the basics, DOA rules !! Those guys of the negative reviews obviously think that pac-man its way too complicated for them, heheh , just kidding. But seriously, this is not an easy game.

I have played Dead or Alive since the second one released on the dreamcast and have enjoyed the series up until this one. Dead or Alive 3 being my most favorite. I really tried to enjoy this game but through all the changes I couldn't enjoy it as it was more frustrating than fun. Graphics: As always the Tecmo team does an excellent job with graphics pushing them as far as the system will let them take it. All you have to do is look at the characters and the different levels and know that it is gorgeous. Storyline: Well, as always the story rarely makes sense and doesn't explain why you're fighting who you're fighting. Its a common thing between all fighter games. Unless you've played DOA from the begining don't even try to make since of it. The story mode is alright and the end boss is crazy and hard as can be. Unless you wanna buy the costumes online you will be going through storymode a bunch of times which I have and it sucked. I have only one character to unlock and that's Te... Read more

Dead or alive has a great series out there. dead of alive 4 seems to be the most fun and most entertaining. You have some really cool attacks. Cool characters also. If you like virtual fighter or tekken you will love dead or alive 4.

The best fighter on the 360, mostly beacuse the only other fighters are XBLA titles (Streetfighter and Mortal Kombat), but also due to the excellent quality it delievers to its genre. This game plays a lot like Virtua Fighter in certain ways and in diffrent ways it is completely diffrent. To start off this is probbably the fastest 3D fighter on the market, this can become very intimadating for new players. The counter system is unique but also very complicated, there's 8 diffrent counters in the game for each character and that's not including the special counters found in characters like Kasumi and Jann Lee. Each counter attack is made for a certain attack, High, Medium, Low, or Jumping Kick/Punch. This requires a certain amount of study time in the game but I found the easiest way to learn this game is to keep playing on XBLA as you will certainely pick up what other players are doing. The diffuculty for the single player mode is very controversial, let me make it stratight IT IS... Read more

DOA 4 feels hollow and imcomplete, sort of like a demo. There arent that many characters to choose from and the story mode is really short. Another thing I didnt like was how quick to fights are. The moves deliver too much damage so one or two blows and the fight is basically over. The CPU cheats heavily in this game and there isnt a difficulty option, so you'll easily get frustrated when the A.I. is beating you senseless. DOA 4 is a button masher while its competition Virtua Fighter 5 is a realistic fighter that requires skill to play.

The Dead or Alive series is renowned for its super slick fighting styles and gorgeously rendered visuals (the ladies in perticular), which is why anyone who has played one of the earlier installments will not be disappointed. The first thing you will do is naturally put the player age up to 99, (for obvious reasons) before starting what is a relatively non-existant 'story' mode. There are some short inserts between your 4th and final opponent, but nothing really makes make sense until you see the final ending. On the upside, the story mode is nice and fast and doesn't drag any of the gameplay down. Team battle is even more rapid as once a character has been defeated, the next one in the team jumps straight in without loading, (which is a rarity) like an endurance match in Mortal Kombat. Even though you could imagine some slight details such as hair movement or background colission being improved, this is by far the best looking beat-em-up to date and really sets the standard for th...
