Sun Sep 27 2009This stuff isn't too bad. It has a weird flavor (I can't put my finger on exactly what it is), but you get used to it. And one in about every two plugs is very dry, like chewing on plywood. Inspect this stuff yourself, if it all you can, before buying it.

Thu Sep 03 2009This is without doubt the worst chewing tobacco made. When I was chewing tobacco back in 1986, I decided to try it. The reason why I tried it was because my granddad used it and he loved it. When I tried it, I almost puked. I don't know what my late granddad saw in it. It tasted like crap. I decided to stick to Red Man. It tastes a lot better.

Fri Feb 27 2009This shit will have you spitt'in Tar! I've tried it all from Cope, Skoal, Levi, Red Man, to even chewing some cigars. A buddy of mine told me about this... and while it seems expensive, 4 bucks a plug, that plug lasts a long time. I'm sure to some this tastes bitter and gross, but maybe they should stop sucking their thumbs and put the loli-pops down.. get some real man's chew ya pansy asses. Days Work will put some hair on yer pasty nuts.. then burn it off!

Tue Nov 04 2008Started chewing this in the Marine Corps. Found if I wrapped it in foil and left it in the sun for a day or two it was strong enough to make the world spin for a while. I was a light weight then. One plug would last several days.

Wed Sep 24 2008a couple guys on here said that this shit was awesome. so i went and bought 3 plugs of it today at $3.57 per plug. first of all, one plug was one chew for me as the plugs are 3 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1/2 inch thick. second of all, this chew tatses like shit. i mean it smells great, real strong and sweet and i thought i was in for a treat. 30 seconds into the chew it started to taste like saw dust so i threw it away. i got the other 2 plugs here on my desk and im probably just gonna throw them away too. luckily when i go to the store i load the fuck up. today i bought 1 roll of cope long, 1 roll of kodiak green, 3 cans of skoal mint, 5 bags of redman golden blend, 5 bags of redman original, 3 bags of levi garrett, and this days work bullshit. the lady who rang me up said "you got a nice little stash here!" too bad its only like 5 days worth of dip and chew for me if that. i average 3 cans of dip and 1-2 bags of loose leaf a day. i get 2 pinches out of a tin and 2 pinches out of... Sat Sep 13 2008I was just in the gas station and bought some grizz. I saw this on sale and I was relieved. I have something to fall back on if they are out of grizz.

Sun Dec 09 2007This is a real man's tobacco. I tried this stuff for the first time when I was 17 and it whipped my a**. Not a bad chew if you're a chewer. I'm a snuff dipper so, I don't cut a square off of this stuff very often. This is a classic, though.

Mon Jun 04 2007My father in law chewed Days Work. It killed him at age 94. I suppose he should have quit at 93! I have used it in the days of yore and it works! Mark my words, however, quitting chewing is much harder than quitting smoking. All you 16 year old grizz chewers out there, quit wacking off in your room, dump the grizz and go out and find some REAL man's stuff!

Mon May 21 2007I quite smoking 27 years ago, but still "hooked" on nicotine, I looked for a smokeless alternative. After trying many types and brands, I settled on Days Work plug. I still occasionally try other chews, but find Days Work remains my favorite.

Sun Feb 19 2006I quit smoking after some 23 years of puffing. I was able to do so by switching to smokeless. I quickly setteled on Days Work as by preferred chew. I found its consistency and taste were perfect for me. I've chewed it for over 25 years with no noticable ill effects. I have some nonsymtomatic signs of emphysema, however, probably due to all those years of smoking. Days Work is often hard to find though. I might begin to order it online.

Fri Jan 06 2006This stuff is dry and bland and not good at all, it has a nice flavour for about 2 minutes and then it turns into what taste like cardboard. Plus it comes in the form of a small brick wrapped in thin plastic, no wonder it drys out so quickly. I'd never buy this stuff again

Tue Jul 12 2005I am 58 years young. I started chewing Days Work when I was sixteen. I find it soothes the nerves and chewing has kept me from smoking for over 30 years. I have found no health problems arising from chewing tobacco.

Fri May 13 2005This brand is sold in plug form. Rather dry and bland, though, but OK in a pinch.
