Thu Mar 06 2008I really like the casual clothes here. They're hip, have style & offer something different that you won't find at Nordy's or Barcelinos. They have some great brands for polos & smokin' shoes. I have seen some funky sport coats here to wear with jeans & other casual slacks. I can't say that I've heard of too many people buying suits here. The sales staff is really friendly & helpful. They seem to know their stuff. Parking wasn't the easiest but, hey, it's a big city so it is always timing. This store is certainly worth checking out. Bottom line: You can always walk out of here with a renewed sense of style. -Jeff Collins, MyHaberdasher

Mon Apr 02 2007I?m enthused about writing this review after doing so verbally so often over the past many years; to those who are friends, colleagues, and even people who ?pardon me? while walking through downtown Seattle. David Lawrence offers style, identity, and an experience above all others. Depending on the occasion I'm shopping for, though it's typically the non-occasion, I'm able to find pieces that are both unique and impressionable; pieces that always receive attention and compliment. Whether on the hunt for jeans and tees for a casual out and about, button up shirts and sport coats for a late night outing, or suits, dress shirts, and ties to negotiate the next big company merger, you?ll be sure to find something amazing. They offer designer collections that exemplify the genius, culture, and allure from all over the world, such as Italy and London, and include top designer labels from here in the States. Their collections consist of Rock and Republic, United, Ungaro, Moschino, Versace, and... Read more

Fri Jan 19 2007Out of the four places in the northwest to purchase men's designer clothing (Nordstrom,Barney's,Mario's,and David Lawrence) David Lawrence is unique. Nordstrom is really not all that great, because sometimes it's hard to get some one to help you and the true designer clothing is limited. However, they do have the best return policy. Barney's is for snobs, because the people that work there are stupid, fickle, and jerks. Mario's is awesome....by far the best place in the northwest to buy high-end luxury designer clothing. But David Lawrence is cool too. But they are very different from Mario's. David Lawrence focuses more on hip designer labels, that are a little more flamboyant. While Mario's carries Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and Emenegildo Zegna. David Lawrence carries D&G,Versace Collection,Just Cavalli and Z-Zegna.....the less expensive youth brands. And that is why David Lawrence is unique to the northwest, they are the only place you can purchase a pair of D&G jeans or a Moschino te... Read more

Mon May 23 2005The Scene Clothing tags read like the credits from a GQ fashion shoot, with no shortage of Italian labels. This fashion bastion flies in the face of the khakis and flannel popular among Seattle men. Step inside and you might forget--for just a moment--that you're in the land of polar fleece. Instead, polished business guys and anyone else aged 25 to 50 who is flush with enough cash to support an up-to-the-minute style habit browse the racks. The Goods David Lawrence outfits trend-conscious men in designer wear for the opera, after-hours VIP room or poolside. Looks include Versace tuxedos, Speedo-style Italian swimming trunks, Dolce & Gabanna sweaters and Donna Karan four-button suits. The store specializes in more accessible (read: relatively less-expensive) styles from runway magnates, including Versace's Classic line, V2 jeans and couture collection.

Tue Aug 17 2004Not being a habitual complainer I dont normally bother with these reviews, however the "other" D Lawrence review irritated me enough to join and write. I found the service exceptional. Jason was first class in every way, ensuring I felt comfortable with my purchases while at the same time suggesting new looks. When I sis allow myself to be "talked into" a purchase, it was invariably the one that received the most praise. For those who confuse enthusiasm, a love of fashion and an outgoing personality with "commission driven pushiness", stick to Nordstrom.

Fri Jun 14 2002David Lawrence is by far the best men's store in the greater Seattle region. You need to fly to LA or Chicago to find clothes of this quality, and the pricing is very fair, with exceptional sales. If you are visiting Seattle, shopping for a man, or just need to dress well, don't bother going anywhere else.
