Sun Sep 18 2011Dave Chappelle is a phenominal comedian. The most popular sketch comedy artist in recent years. He has a very funny comparison of different races, and leaves no one out. Can talk about anything ranging from a crack head to politicians like Bill Clinton or George Bush. Definitely one of the most successful comedians to ever be featured on Comedy Central and not a single comedian yet has been able to top his sketches on the Chappelle show with their own interpretations or knock off shows.

Fri Aug 13 2010He's terrific. Love his take on the world. Have a few things on my MP3 player of his. Should have more. I laugh every time I listen.

Mon May 24 2010Dave Chappelle is a genius, it's really too bad that people tried to drive him crazy. Had the biggest hit on comedy central and they wouldn't give him creative control? F them, yo.

Sun May 23 2010Dave Chappelle is one of the all time greatest Comedians. He kills me and anyone I have ever showed any of his stuff to. Just like any other Comedian out there people will say "You have to have a certain sense of humor to enjoy their material." In Dave Chappelles case you just have to be open minded. Really talented. I would love to have seen him do stand up. I'm not sure if he does it anymore. Another really cool thing is that Donnell Rawlings and Charlie Murphy got to have a lot of camera time and everyone got to see their talent and humor as well.

Mon Oct 12 2009I'm somewhat surprised to see Chapelle at the top of the list. He can be funny at times, but often just comes across as loud and obnoxious.

Mon Oct 12 2009Chappelle's show was the best comedy in the last decade in my mind. His standup has always been some of my favorite, and I can't think of many more comedians I would rather see than Chappelle.

Fri May 22 2009Uneven, and he occasionally lapses into tastelessness without the benefit of a comedic payoff, but he's young yet. When he hits the mark, and I personally think he hits the mark more often than he misses, he can be hysterically funny, even trenchant. In time, I think he'll either end up being considered one of America's great comedic talents, or they'll include him 20 years from now in one of those "Whatever Happened To...?" books.

Wed Feb 13 2008He can be really funny. A great delivery making what you know good and well is a joke seem very believable.

Mon Sep 06 2004Generally good. Covers a lot of issues in his stand-up, which keeps it fresh and entertaining. Better than most.
