Darrin Stephens (Bewitched)

he was more worried about his image at work and the witchcraft at home that he was played to be any kind of father. he was probably afraid of his kids.

Loved the first Darrin who had just the right amount of crazy going on. He still annoyed me on a couple of levels though - I could never understand why he wouldn't let Samantha use her gifts. When I grew up I couldn't understand why she didn't tell him to shut up and deal with it. Then along came Darrin II who was like a watered down version of the first and much too angry and irritated. He also had zip chemistry with Elizabeth Montgomery. My opinion is that the show had run its course and should have gone out when Dick York left.

A good Dad, I mean he had to handle being father to part human and part witch/warlock children. However he was at work all the time and Samantha, Esmeralda, Endora or another relative did most of the parenting. He was mostly there in the evening to say goodnight and on the weekend he went golfing. Also he didn't always have a lot respect for his kids witch/warlock heritage.
