As a completely mad Harry Potter fan, I must express my disappointment in Radcliffe's acting. He is mostly wooden and unemotional, especially when it comes to parts of the script about Harry's parents (the worst being his attempt to cry in The Prisoner of Azkaban-which is admittedly difficult for some, apparently). Still, Radcliffe displays anger and determination quite well, improving over the films. He has also done other work outside of the Potter films which I which I have not seen, so cannot judge, therefore, I believe that 3/5 is a fair enough mark.

After the first movie I would have given him only one star but he just keeps getting better. It's more 3½ than 4 but yeah, he's not so bad anymore.

He's one of the worst, most sickening, wooden, unemotional and unwitty thing of an actor in our time. YOU SUCK DANIEL! GO BE A PORN STAR!

I think he does a good job as Harry Potter. He looks the part, and his performance in Goblet of Fire was his best yet.

In the first two, I felt that Daniel gave a mediocre performance (if even that!), but when I saw the third one, I had a bit more hope. I'd always felt that Daniel could improve (even if it was just a bit at a time). There's ALWAYS room for improvement with an actor --- no matter how good or bad they are --- they just have to step up to the challenge: That's what Daniel did. When I saw Goblet of Fire, I was floored. I hadn't been expecting much from him, let me tell you, but when the movie ended, I had very little to complain about concerning him. Sure, he still had some minor tweaks that needed to be dealt with, but Daniel is a determined young person. He seems to always be looking for ways to improve in his craft. I don't doubt is abilities now; he's got a new film coming out (December Boys), and we can only hope that this new film will help him to realise his potential. He's got it in him to do well, and I think that he is working toward soming great. Remember, he's only 16. Not many... Read more

I am a MAJOR fan of his. We've all watched him grow and change in his acintg, and he has a natural talent that will be honed by years of experience and work in Harry Potter. I was VERY impressed at his acting in the 4th movie, and being an HP fan, tended to judge the movie harshly. I was floored. Daniel Radcliffe was awesome, just as all the others were. I can say openly and unashamedly that I cried so hard when "it" (I don't want o give any spoilers) happened I was caught up in th movie, and his acting was really convincing.

Daniel Radcliffe is not a "great" actor. He was basically chosen to play one part, and he will be continued to be cast in similar parts. Too often with actors his age they are not picked for talent, but because they have some likeable quality. I did not think he was special at all in the first three. However, in the forth movie he really stepped it up a notch. I think that we are seeing him mature as an actor before our eyes, and it is looking better.

As previously mentioned, there isn't a great variety to go on, but as far as the Harry Potter films, I think he's terrific. It's been great to see how well he's developed as an actor, the emotion and dedication he brings to his role is very impressive. As far as him personally, I haven't met him but he seems remarkably down to earth and sweet for really any guy his age, to say the least one that rich and famous. Overall, I think he's perfect for where he is and will continue to develop to the point where in forty or so years, the children of the raters here will be rating him under the "Actors-Classic" category

Daniel is a good person, whether he's in front of the camera or not. Despite his international fame, he still manages to stay humble and sweet.

Dan is an amazing actor with the nack to capture your eye and your heart with one glance. He has a great deal of natural talent, and seems very humble and charming despite his surreal fame.

I think he'll go far as an actor if he so chooses. The only thing I have seen him is Harry Potter, and he's been brilliant in that role.

Good young actor the first role i saw him in was the younger David Copperfield. he was very convincing in that movie. He was the perfect choice for Harry Potter and did a great jon in that role. He has lots of potential as and actor.
